Expert Facialist & Skincare Treatments Highly recommend Virginia, very skilled facial expert who is both wonderfully professional but also warm, welcoming and immediately puts you at ease. Her lovely studio is private, spotlessly clean and a real sanctuary. She uses her training and expertise to adapt treatments to any changes in skin, essential for female skincare and hormone fluctuation. My skin always looks and feels amazing, but more than that Virginia's care and kindness mean you come out feeling renewed AND have glowing skin!

I have been visiting Virginia Williams Skin Care Studio for at least 10 years and have consistently had an excellent and very high standard of service. The welcome is warm as well as the toasty room where the treatments are conducted. The room is soothing and inviting. My favourites here are massages and facials both of which are fantastic. Basically I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a salon with a little bit more to offer at a very reasonable price. Enjoy!

I have been going to Virginia for many years now and I love it. She makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. I have a stress therapy back massage every couple of months and it’s such a relaxing massage. She provides a soft thick blanket and put lovely soothing oils on your back that smell amazing. I couldn’t imagine going somewhere else when she provides such high quality massages and always ask if the pressures ok. Virginia is such a kind person and always put hers clients first would highly recommend.

What a wonderful find! I chose Virginia's studio based on the great reviews and so glad I did. Not only she is lovely and vivacious but also very generous with her time and attention, which makes the whole experience a real treat. She's got a really holistic approach, so nice. Essential Oils and calming music make the visit to her studio even more relaxing. Most importantly she was very gentle yet effective with my bruising-scarring-prone skin (she is obviously very experienced). As long as I can afford I will be coming back!

I have been going to the Virginia Williams Studio for more than two and a half years. I have different monthly facials tailored to my skin’s specific needs. I really didn’t want to start using fillers and botox so I started my regular facial regime instead. It must be working as someone recently asked me if I had “been in the freezer” when they found out my age! I also buy products such as drinkable collagen and cleansers and moisturisers. They are a bit more expensive than I was used to paying but last a very long time and are very high quality. My facialist is brilliant and I always look forward to an hour in her company. We catch up and have a laugh. She’s very professional but very down to earth, straightforward and easy to talk to. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I trust her completely and always feel she takes pride in achieving a great result for her client. She’s on a mission for me! I’m so happy with my results and can therefore thoroughly recommend the Virginia Williams Studio.

I'm not one to leave reviews so be assured that my experience at Virginia Williams was review worthy! I visited here for the first time for waxing, and when I booked the appointment she gave me good advice on what to do to reduce pain for the wax. I was a bit nervous at first, but her friendly personality immediately put me at ease! I also loved that it wasn't in a salon as it makes the service a lot more personal. I will definitely be returning here as I was extremely impressed with the service AND the wax :-D

I had a wonderful experience at Virginias studios. I was planning on a treatment of microdermabrasion bought as a gift from my sister for my birthday but after assessing what my skin needed was recommended an oxygen facial instead. I really appreciated thr advice and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My face felt fully cleansed and my skin was soft and hydrated after. I was offered helpful advice on skincare products and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a personal touch. Was made to feel warm and welcome. Tracie has been looking after me for over 10 years, always looking forward to my facials & massages. She never fails to welcome me with a big smile which straight away relaxes me. Her studio is always very clean & tidy & has recently been renovated. The room is always nice & warm with the burning of scented aroma oils, which greets us as you walk in. She emails me the day before to remind me of my appointments & is always on time. Parking is off-street, free & very easy.

Virginia Williams is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a side street, where you would never look unless you were 'in the know', is a haven of serenity that is my favourite relaxation spot. I first visited with a gift voucher as I was 'brought in to the know' by a friend & even as I stepped across the threshold, my senses were treated to the indulgent aroma of essential oils, clearly designed to relax & unwind. And it's these little extras that really make for a fantastic experience; from the heated, warm & cosy 'cocoon' I was enveloped in for my facial, to the 'no strip' wax, that was a revelation in bikini waxing for me. Extra & surprising treats to be enjoyed too like a mini foot rub included with a particular massage or the complimentary hot towels offered, pleasantly, when you'd least expect them! The pretty view through the massage table breathing hole or the random 2 for 1 & monthly package offers I receive. All individually a part of the reason I keep going back what is probably 15 years on now (eek!). I must also comment on the massages available too. Clearly an experienced masseuse who knows where I need working on & where I want the pressure to be strong but, going easy in more tender areas. I highly recommend the stress busting head, neck & shoulder massage that is second to none! I love a massage & as such I've been to many beauticians over the years, home & abroad. Two stand out in my mind: The London Berkeley Hotel & Virginia Williams of South Woodford, the latter of which is reasonably priced! It's a no-brainer!

I've ordered some cream over the phone twice. I believe I spoke with the salon owner on both occasions. She was a delight to speak with and offered an exceptionally high level of customer service. I don't normally feel safe ordering over the phone using my credit card, but from VW it's not an issue. I received my cream very fast, well packaged and with the receipt. To top it all off they have decent prices too. Highly recommended!

I am a big fan of the hot stone massages here. From the moment you walk in, you feel very relaxed and looked after in this home based salon. There is an array of treatments, from facials to manicures to massages, and you never feel rushed or on a conveyor belt of clients. You can also book online which I find really helpful as I often don't have time to pick up the phone.
