I've been a client at Waxing Specialist for almost 3 years now, I think. I've had my first ever Brazilian wax done here and never looked back. Marta is one of the most professional cosmetologists I've ever met, and who cares greatly about her business. She always provides all the information prior to your visit and makes sure the experience is painless and quick. Her salon is extremely hygienic and sanitary, and strictly follows the government's Covid-19 guidelines. I would recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of getting an intimate wax for the first time or just simply looking for a new place to get waxed regularly.

I am pregnant and came to the Waxing Specialist for hollywood waxing, I was so positively impressed with the treatment and Marta! She made a proper assessment of my pregnancy and also provided me with a lot of advice and information on the treatment and the wax that was going to be used, together with making sure she was complying with the best guidelines to prevent bacteria or skin reactions and provide a completely painless experience! I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will come back again! She also provided a lot of advice for after birth and the next steps for future treatments after my delivery. Overall, I am really happy with the service provided and having met Marta as a passionate professional that truly wants to help and provide the best! Thank you again! :)

Beautiful unique salon with the highest standard of service and excellent hygiene. Marta is welcoming and makes you feel comfortable straight away. She is always very professional, meticulous and prompt with time keeping. It’s not easy to find place like this. Would definitely recommend.

Just about to go to my umpteenth wax here - my friend introduced me to the salon and once I went I didn't bother going anywhere else as the waxing is efficient, good quality and importantly Marta explains everything she does when you are new. It is not cheap but very much worth it - I recommend paying a little extra for the Lycon.

Every time I've been here they've been absolutely lovely. They're so professional and the place is always clean and tidy. They really do what they can to make you feel comfortable and explain why they are doing certain things so you're aware of what they're using etc.the lycon wax they use is as close to painless as you can get in my opinion, especially with how they apply and remove it. so glad I found this place!

First ever 'Hollywood' (ALL pubic hair removed) wax, and it was incredibly PAINLESS. Also - NO INGROWN HAIRS! The lady took me through the process step by step as she did it, explaining what she'd do and what I needed to do. I really couldn't believe how well it went. And in the weeks after, I expected to suffer the odd ingrown hair, but no. Amazing. (I've had standard bikini waxes in other salons (including the big-name boutique chain ones in Soho) and gave up after they always ended up pulling really unpleasantly and I got ingrown hairs. I didn't realise waxing could be this painless.) N.B. I visited in August 2020, just been meaning to add my review since September.
