This was my first time visiting Strictly Waxing, along with my friend ready for our holiday. I was very nervous going with having a Hollywood waxing as well as my legs and my arms. I had Georgia who made me feel at ease straight away, was very friendly and chatty, explained the whole process and gave a 10/10 service. From the start to the finish it was amazing. I would highly recommend this salon for waxing, nails and much more. Their list of treatments is endless. Thanks. I will be visiting again soon.

I’ve been coming to Strictly Waxing for a good few years now and would never go elsewhere! I usually have Zoe or Casey however all of the girls are brilliant and absolutely lovely. I always feel at ease when I go there and the waxing is done quickly, with minimal pain and always lasts long. I really recommend for anyone.

I have visited the salon today for the first time and I can’t recommend Georgia enough- she was very friendly and professional. I was so worried as have had the treatment done for over a over a year now its safe to say she did such a good job that it did not hurt. Had a full men's intimate wax "The Cheshire" with Jolene, it was for charity, however Jolene was really professional, her salon is immaculately clean and she talks you through the process and aftercare. I came in for shellac removal and a full set of acrylics with shellac overlay. Jolene is lovely and took her time to prep my nails so that my acrylics would last as well as possible, she pays great attention to detail! The selection of colours for both shellac and ordinary polish is fab, and they have every colour glitter you could possibly want. My nails are the perfect shape and have lasted really well. You're really made to feel welcome in this salon, the staff are so friendly and refreshments are offered. I will most definitely be coming back. Thanks so much!

My first experience of personal body waxing ages of my holiday but I was made to feel very comfortable. The treatment was carried out very professionally and didn’t hurt anywhere near as bad as I expected. Really pleased with the results and they have lasted a long time before regrowth! Lovely lady called Carol done my waxing. It took over a hour but it felt so quick and painless as we talked all the way. And I had my little baby girl with me and she was so chilled in The pram. I did do regular waxing for a time but for the last year or so I had resulted to shaving after finding my work schedule and personal commitments left me struggling to find available slots with my busy beautician. After a google search I had my first visit to Strictly Waxing on 28th June 2016 and having already read the previous positive reviews I plumed straight in to have a body wax including the Hollywood. I had Sarah and Annie working as a team to do my underarms, arms, hands, feet and legs and then just having Annie to do my Hollywood. Previous Hollywood waxes I’ve had, have never been as thorough as Annie did it.  I also liked having the TV being set to the music video channel for the ambience as well as it helping to have something to focus on whilst being waxed within an inch of my life. Have to add, that there was also plenty of conversation going on but was good that I could chill out when I wanted, after all, I was having a long session! Both Sarah and Annie made me feel at ease which is what one needs when having to present one’s flabby/cellulite body parts and intimate bits in some rather precarious positions to complete strangers. So if anyone who’s reading this review feels a bit apprehensive about showing their body parts then my advice is to just feel the fear and go for it as the staff won’t be fazed at all. For those who haven’t had intimate waxing before and are worried about the pain then I can honestly say that it wasn’t that bad given that I wouldn’t class myself as having a high pain threshold. Actually, I find the worst bits are the parts when waiting for the wax to set and the anticipation of it being removed. The fact that I’ll be booking in again just shows that the brief internal ‘ouch’ experience is well worth the end result. I left the salon feeling good and fresh. I’ll definitely be going back for regular waxing sessions and I do fancy trying out some of the other treatments on offer.

Very Friendly, welcoming and professional staff. I suffer with a chronic pain condition and staff were very thoughtful of this all the way through treatment. Had many years of waxing at various salons and this was the least painful experience by far. Would highly recommend.

It was my first visit to this beauty salon. I went for a full leg wax, a luxury manicure and Shellac nails. I must say I felt really pampered, the beautician was lovely too. The only pause in conversation was when my mind wondered as I was so relaxed. It was my first ever manicure, the beautician explained each stage, my nails were beautifully done and my hands soft. I have just been down to Simply Waxing in Radcliffe to have some hair removed ready for our yearly holiday to Lanzarote, I am a middle aged man of 50 and do not have a perfect physique and I felt a little embarrassed going to be honest, but the lady who looked after me was lovely, she has been doing it for 16 years and made me feel really comfortable while I was having my treatment, she kept me talking all the way through some tender moments but was fully professional. Although I have been having male waxing treatments for more than 15 years I had never had the confidence to have a full body wax. This all changed last october when, fed up of shaving down below I took the plunge and made an appointment at Strictly Waxing. I thought that by chosing a specialist waxing salon, I would feel less embarrased and get the results I was hoping for. Despite feeling nervous before the treatment, on entering the salon I was soon put completely at ease by the extremely friendly staff. The treatment itself was also far less embarrassing than I thought it might be. Everything was fully explained and it was much less painful than I was expecting. The professionalism of the staff made me feel totally relaxed. I have to say that having experienced the superb service (on more than 1 occasion now) given by the staff at Strictly Waxing, I would not consider going anywhere else. So if you are thinking of trying waxing for the first time, try Strictly Waxing for youself - you won't be disappointed!!
