I have suffered with such low self esteem due to how my hair was, to the point that I couldn’t bring myself to go to a salon. Then I found Gemma! Also subsequently Denise! They made me feel so so comfortable and in the space of a day helped me to feel feminine and confident once again.the quality of their work is second to none. If you are thinking about extensions or similar- take my advice and if you are able, don’t delay and do it!! You will not be disappointed with their wonderful service. All is left to say is a huge thank you, for making me feel like me again. See you soon you wonderful women x

Gemma fitted a hair replacement system for me as I suffer with a condition called lichen planopilaris. My confidence was knocked and was making me feel miserable. Everytime I see Gemma I always get professionalism and feel at ease and comfortable. What she does is an art. Every single time I leave the salon I feel amazing. She explains everything so you know exactly what's going to happen and, what you need to do to maintain the system. Gemma is always expanding her knowledge and learning new things. She always gives you the best quality and the best value. I would never go to anyone else. I can't thank her enough for making me feel like the old me but even better. I would highly recommended her to anyone needing any help regarding hair, she is the best person to see. It's been 5 months now and I don't just consider Gemma my hair guru but a friend. I used to dread going to the hair dressers, but now I look forward to it as we always have a nice chat, and when I leave I feel beautiful and confident.

I had my hair extensions fitted with GG’s back in August. I had my consultation and they booked me in super quick to have them fitted. They look great and feel great - they make everyday effortless and I feel confident going out all the time with them in! I had my hair coloured there on the weekend and it’s the first time I’ve come away feeling 100% happy with the final outcome after having my hair coloured. Couldn’t recommend them enough - best price in Plymouth for every service they offer 💕

Great salon! Very friendly and welcoming. Lauren did my hair today and she did the perfect job, styled and coloured it exactly how I wanted. A few years ago I ventured into the GG's store in hope for some hair extensions and was amazed at how much information was provided and how well the staff take care of their clients! The ladies went above and beyond to help me and to explain all the options - I felt so uplifted and I booked in straight away. The extensions we're so thick and lush and of excellent quality - on top of having a really pleasant and warming introduction to the salon. You can really trust the ladies to do exactly what you ask for and more! This year I also followed my hairdresser Lauren to GG's Hair and Beauty Salon. Lauren has been my hairdresser for over 2 years now and I honestly wouldn't go to anyone else if I could! She is so talented and does wonders! The salon itself is so welcoming and friendly, all of the lovely ladies are polite and chatty. You leave with a great feeling - all whilst having a new doo! After having a bad experience with previous hair extensions I was nervous to try again but having very damaged hair after bleaching and not wanting to settle for my now short and damaged hair, I bit the bullet after a recommendation from another salon owner. Gemma totally restored my faith and got my own hair back to a normal healthy state and then added the most stunning set of weave extensions which blended amazingly. I couldn't be happier with my hair now and couldn't recommend Gemma enough!

I love GGs; they are so friendly and do such a brilliant job. I have my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes done at GGs and that, really, speaks for itself. Chloe has dyed, cut and fitted the extensions for my hair and is amazing. She is highly professional and does a wonderful job with my very fine hair. She has also advised me on styles that I hadn't considered but that look ace! Carly has done my eyebrows for 18 months and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I leave with absolutely immaculate HD brows that really suit my face. I trust Carly with my eyebrows to the point that she did them on the morning of my wedding. She is that good. I have my eyelashes done with Jess, who is so friendly and makes you feel so comfortable. I started with eyelash extensions that lasted really well. I have recently had a lash lift and tint with Jess, which looks fab. I have never had long thick lashes naturally, but Jess has made them look so long, full and natural. She makes sure that you are happy with the look and is really conscientious about making sure there isn't a lash out of place. Overall, I rate and value the quality of customer care very highly from GGs.

I had my hair coloured and had flat track weave extensions fitted yesterday at GG'S. The Salon feels very welcoming with the lovely staff. The girls are so kind and are so helpful and guide you through every step of treatment whilst working their wonders so you know what is happening. They also offer a wide range of refreshments whilst you get pampered ( the hot chocolate was very yummy ). The Salon is clean and tidy and the staff are so welcoming and kind. Amazing salon with lovely staff. I first went to GGs with my hair in a right state, expecting them to turn me away as it was so bad. But they didn't! They fitted my extensions and over time fixed my hair up back into great condition and I continue to get my extensions fitted here almost a year later. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! I’ve been coming to GGs now for 2 years and Gemma has helped me with my hair loss problem. She has supported, advised me and given me back my confidence. The last hair system she did on me lasted 18 months, which is AMAZING! I used to have a hair system done in a top London salon which cost 3 times what GG’s charges me (plus I had to count travel time, cost, 2 days off work and a hotel room) but GG’s professionalism and care has changed my life. Their skill and talent is second to none and I count them all as friends now. The quality of hair supplied is top class and GG’s give sound advice on care and maintenance to ensure the hair remains at its best for as long as possible. Have been coming to the salon for the past few months having hair and beauty treatments , staff are very professional and the owner is very much involved in the day to day running of the salon making sure all clients are happy with treatments. In particular a big shout out to Kerry Dix who is amazing at what she does , I have had a variety of treatments with Kerry including waxing , nails and eyelashes , Kerry has always been very friendly and professional at what she does making me feel very much at ease . Nothing is too much trouble and she works with the client to establish what the client needs which in my case I never seem to know what that is haha Kerry is very artistic and has fantastic ideas , always seems to get it right which for me is why I keep coming back . For years I have always left salon not feeling 100 % happy whereas I always leave GG salon looking and feeling a million dollars , thank you Kerry and the rest of the girls you have a customer for life ! I enjoy coming into the Salon it is a nice environment to be in and I always made to feel very welcome and like one of the girls see you all soon xx

They are both professional, welcoming & happy to help & give advice, as are all the girls that work there. My mum is due to get married next March & we recently spoke to the owner Gemma, who explained they had a wedding package & commenced making enquiries in order to get that set up for us. The girls at GG's don't just do what you ask them to do, they will ensure that what you're aiming for is done in the best way to ensure hair is left in the best condition. The girls go above & beyond to explain all the options available to the customer & ensure they get the right deal for them. I've always wanted extensions that I don't have to remove each evening so as long as I can remember, like every other girl I've over bleached my hair to point of it falling out. I had it all cut off and I literally hated my life but I booked in with Gemma she made miracles happen. I currently have a 16 inch weave that's impossible to remove unless Gemma does it herself, they are AMAZING. Amazing quality hair, and my natural hair is actually growing out with them so I'm slowly but surely mending my hair but it would be impossible without the salon. To anyone thinking of extensions but aren't too sure, just get yourself in.

I have nothing but praise for Gem, the team and the salon. I had come to Plymouth on a day trip from my rural home town over 100 miles away to find a wig. I had not realised how involved buying a wig would actually be and had no idea I would need an appointment to see someone, The store I had traveled to did not have any wigs and the sales lady could see i was very upset. She recommended GG's and found me the number. .. After talking to Gem, she realised my disappointment and managed to slot me in and see me later that day , Gem was welcoming and friendly and gave me loads of informative advice about wigs. Very luckily , she had a real hair wig in stock which was a perfect fit , but the wrong colour, She then gave me colour samples and said it could be coloured and styled to what I wanted. I was over the moon. The following week I made the 200 mile round trip again to collect my wig. I am so pleased with it, It is perfect and has given me confidence again to go out in public.Hopefully this wig will last quite some time but I will definitely be going back when i need a new one. I cant thank you all enough. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wig.

I've been going to GG's for hd brows with Carli every 4 weeks for a couple of years now. I always look forward to my appointment for a number of reasons. I would rely on no one but Carli to turn my overgrown and out of shape brows into something that suits the shape of my face every time, it feels just as good as having a fresh new hair colour and cut! She is a darling and does such a wonderful job. Because I'm a regular customer Carli also books one a Saturday a month in the salon to ensure I have an appointment. I've gained a lovely friend with Carli and we get on so well which makes it so easy going when I'm there. All the other ladies are so chatty and welcoming and unlike other salons where it could feel intimidating to walk into, GG's is quite the opposite. A big thank you to the ladies for always looking after me, even if I am a massive wimp when it comes to eyebrow plucking - haha! :)

I always get nervous when having my hair cut but walked Into GG's salon and they were very friendly and made me feel at ease straight away, explained what I wanted and my hairdresser cut it perfectly , I then asked if they could fit me in for a eyebrow wax and tint even though they was busy they still managed to fit me in last minute and am very happy with both my hair and my eyebrows , only payed £14 for my hair restyle and eyebrows tint and wax as they had a Monday offer on, excellent prices for the service you receive , will be going here again for sure , thank you GG's very impressed
