m. H.I can not fault these ladies at all!! The whole team is amazing. I have been having my nails done by jade for quite some time now and I have not once ever been unhappy with my nails. Amazing at what they do and very friendly warm and inviting. The salon is beautiful and always clean. I look forward to having my nails done every time !! Well done ladies.

After having read your reply (the owners), it appears as though the miscommunication for this entire situation is shown in the first line of your response; ‘the appointment was available because none of the hair girls were working on Christmas eve’.
This is the first time that I have been told that this was the case. If I’d have had any inkling that my request would have meant that someone would have had to come in solely for me, I would NEVER have wanted you to do that.
If you check the FB messages/your screenshots, you can clearly see that I was never told that the hairdressers had always had this day off. The messages I received appeared to imply that the hairdressers wanted to leave early so appointments were limited. I had no issue with them wanting to leave early and I even stated this in one of my FB messages by saying that I understand your staff want to leave early on Christmas Eve and I didn’t blame them for wanting to leave early on this day.
In your comment regarding my Christmas spirit, if it was meant sarcastically, it is quite hurtful as I would never have expected somebody to come in on their day off to accommodate my very last minute request. Due to the nature of my work, unfortunately I now am dependent on last minute appointments, which is frustrating as I’m unable to plan, hence the awkward last minute booking. When I saw that you had last minute appointments available for Christmas Eve, I was thrilled. However, if I had been told that you would have to call in one of the hairdressers on their day off, especially on Christmas Eve, AND if I would be their only client/appointment, I would never have entertained it - especially as I was after an afternoon appointment. I’m human, and I understand the importance of spending time with family over Christmas and would never have expected somebody to spend their whole day at work waiting for my single half hour booking.
In my message you refer to, I questioned whether it would be helpful to update you on Christmas Eve, as I was under the impression that your hairdressers would have been in regardless and dealing with other customers. I thought you could decide on the day whether or not the hairdressers would stay to fit me in, but I received no response to confirm whether this would be more of a help or hinderance. As both of your responses had been consistent up to that point, I thought that I had been forgotten in a flurry of last minute appointments when I had no reply. That’s the reason why I checked at work to ensure I could send you a concrete time that I could make, which ended up being the time sent to you on Monday afternoon.
Also, offering appointments that you had after Christmas would have been really useful. I felt like based on the lack of detailed updates, my custom wasn’t wanted.
Your response has actually been very insightful, and this would have been extremely helpful to have received in response to my original booking request. Based on this, I do appreciate your attempt to accommodate my request given the circumstances - as it’s annoying to be put in a position to ask someone to come in last minute if they had already had this day off.
I feel that this was a simple miscommunication error - we were both on different pages.
I was unaware of numerous things, the main one being that Christmas Eve was in fact the hairdressers day off, and also, how you tried to accommodate me even though this was the case. I do appreciate that, and I can see that you did make the extra effort for me as I know other companies would not have considered it at all. I wish I had been made aware of this at the time! I feel that communication could have been more detailed and clearer in explaining the situation in full at the very start, and offering additional post Christmas appointments would have made all the difference. Due to your update, I have deleted my original review and have adjusted my star rating.
