Kay is amazing! Before my wedding day she gave me advice on how to better my skin and she helped me find the look I wanted for my day, I never normally wear make up so I was a bit clueless! On the wedding day Kay was punctual, put everyone at ease with her friendly chat and even managed to do some of my make up with my little boy on my lap! All of my bridal party commented how much they loved their make up and how Kay really listened to what they had wanted. I would highly recommend Kay to anyone who is looking for a make up artist.

Kay was amazing! The perfect chatty person for a very nervous bride! She's a great listener when explaining how I'd like my make up, pulled up lots of great photo ideas. Then came the day itself - she was very punctual - got me in the chair straight away for my prep and was the best distraction from my nerves! My mum and bridesmaids looked beautiful and a finishing touch of lip gloss to our flower girl was perfect. I had a very happy husband so thank you!

Kay was a pleasure to "work with" from start to finish. I first met her when helping as a model at a Bridal Catwalk show, and I knew immediately that I had to book her for my wedding day! I couldn't have been more comfortable with anyone else. Having Rosacea herself, I knew she would understand my skin condition and how best to look after it on the wedding day. Throughout the wedding process she was always quick to respond and recommend. The make-up trial was fun – and she didn’t mind that I tried on about 4 or 5 shades of lipstick until we found the one that we knew was right. She’s very knowledgeable about her trade, and took photos throughout the trial which helped to show the difference each lipstick had on my “glow” (helping me to choose the right one). I’d recommend tying in your make-up trial with your hen party like I did for the full road test so to speak. On the wedding day, my husband loved my makeup saying, "that it was beautiful, natural, and how he loved that I still looked like me". I was very happy with my makeup, feeling comfortable and like the best version of myself – and it lasted well all day and into the evening. I will strongly recommend her to everyone. Thank you, Kay!

Kay is one amazing person. Her passion and professionalism, combined with a natural artistic talent for beauty means the results are simply stunning. The time and care she devotes to her clients is second to none. She makes you feel like the only bride in the world! I cannot recommend her highly enough. She did my wedding makeup, using gorgeous products that are ‘cruelty free’ and I could not have been happier. I was extremely nervous as an older bride, and wanted to ensure the look was natural but gave a good courage. Starting with a gorgeous skin prep that left me totally relaxed (is that even possible on your wedding day!) she went onto to create a flawless base, enhance my eyes and chose just the right shade of lipstick. I have never looked more beautiful in my life, and at 50 years old that’s saying something ! If you are looking for a makeup artist, you will not find better !

Prior to booking Kay-Louise for my wedding makeup, I was very nervous as I normally wear no makeup and was worried I’d end up looking like a different person! As soon as I met with Kay, she was very welcoming and so kind. She took on all my concerns and used her professional opinion to make me look like the best version of me! I felt amazing once she finished my makeup, I couldn’t stop looking at my eyelashes 😂 I found her to be so clean and so professional, and she answered all of my queries even in the hours before the wedding day! She made last5 minute changes to the plans to help suit myself and the venue. I first met Kay when I was a bridesmaid at one of my best friend's weddings. Whilst she was doing my make-up we had a good chat and she really put me at ease - I don't normally wear any make-up, so having my make-up done by a stranger was a bit daunting. She took in everything I told her, gave me tips for a good skin care routine and made me feel wonderful about myself. My make-up felt perfect and lasted all day and night. When it came to booking someone for my own wedding, there was no question as to who would be doing my make-up... I had to have Kay. I booked her up immediately, paid my deposit and was happy knowing she'd be there for me on my big day. Cut to a few months later, the dreaded pandemic hits. Like for a lot of other people I had to postpone my big day. Kay was super flexible with my dates and allowed me to change them 3 times. On top of this, my husband and I decided last minute (4 weeks before) to revert to having our official ceremony on our original date and a big wedding later. I emailed Kay and she was immediately on board not only to do my make-up, but to do my hair too! For my official ceremony Kay gave me the perfect natural look with beautifully bouncy curls. I felt great and was so happy that I got to share my day with her. Then, for my big day, I had a beautiful Hollywood glam look and my bridesmaid all had a natural glowing look. We all loved how we looked and my girls were so pleased that I had booked her for them. If anyone is thinking of booking Kay, I would tell them to book her up instantly! She was an absolute dream and I have been so fortunate to have met her and had her at so many big days in my life.

I recently used Kay for my wedding make up and she was excellent. I don’t wear much make up but knew that I needed to for my wedding, so I was nervous about getting it right and making sure that I looked like myself. I needn’t have worried though as Kay was brilliant and put me at ease and listened to what I wanted. She took the time to make plenty of contact with me, make suggestions and talk through what was needed. Kay did my makeup for my wedding on the 4th June. I had a trial beforehand which was fantastic, this put me at ease and was a chance for a little pamper session. Not only did we talk about makeup but skincare and what I should be doing and what products to use. On the big day Kay was the first to arrive she made sure I ate and remained calm. Kay did myne and my two bridesmaid make up for our wedding on 29.07.21 I was given her number from my hairdresser as a contact she knows through doing wedding hair. It was important for me to get someone who would work well together to get the best results, I looked at Kay’s reviews and I was so happy as she fitted exactly what I was after so I contacted her and she promptly replied saying that she was able to do our make up on our day. Working with Kay was brilliant I had a consultation one weekend and we talked throughly about everything I wanted from my makeup on the day. I showed her my Pinterest board so she could get a feel for what I was after and she got it straight away. We spoke about my skin type and my skin care routine so that she could give me the best makeup possible. With all this she created a plan for my make up for the day and did the trial as if it was the day, this gave us chance to change anything if needed. This filled with so much confidence that the day was going to run smoothly. I also really appreciated the breakdown of times she would use as a guideline for the morning, this helped me plan my hair and the bridesmaids around this. If you was considering booking Kay for your day then I would say do it, she is professional, knowledgeable, passionate and just a lovely person to be with you on the biggest morning of your life. So I'll start with the fact that Kay is absolutely wonderful and I'd definitely recommend to any West Midlands based brides! I was originally nervous when I started wedding planning because I'm a fairly shy person, but that went away when I met Kay! I actually discovered her because she is very adamant she only uses cruelty free makeup (makeup that hasn't been tested on animals) and that is very important to me and aligns with my values; didn't actually expect to get that with a makeup artist so I was honestly so excited when I booked! Kay herself is so lovely, really makes you feel at ease in her presence. She describes me as her "most laidback bride" (very proud title!) and I honestly think she helped towards that! There was a tiny mishap just as I was getting ready to go and she was there fixing my makeup! Unfortunately once I had started I was going to stop until the next day but she did her all for me at that point. What was also really amazing was how understanding and sympathetic she was towards me being so destroyed we had to postpone in 2020. She was actually the first supplier I spoke to (after the venue of course) because she's always there to talk to if I needed anything, and did help to make me feel better. So overall she's so lovely, made everyone at ease while getting ready and was just amazing overall. If I could do it all again (with my husband obviously!) I'd have Kay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing lady to help make an amazing day! Kay was so fantastic from the very first meeting to the day itself! The first meeting was so relaxing and she made me feel at ease and I knew that she was going to be perfect. Not only did she take so much time getting my look correct - with so many different aspects of the makeup and trying different colours - but she took time to get to know me and what I envisioned for the special day! We also had a member of the wedding party who has very sensitive skin and Kay took so much care making sure that there was no way that her makeup would cause any flair ups. With the bridal party ranging from ladies who wore makeup everyday to ladies who have never worn makeup in their lives, Kay made sure that we all looked absolutely stunning and we're all comfortable with our looks. To top it all off we had a super early start to the day and Kay was with us the whole time getting ready throughout the morning! Kay did my make-up on my wedding day June this year. I was nervous about booking a make-up artist because I don't wear much make-up and being a mature bride I didn't want to look too made over! Kay-Louise did my wedding makeup. As someone who often goes without makeup I was a little apprehensive over this part of the wedding prep. Kay-Louise understood exactly what I wanted and was easy to talk to and to trust. I felt like a polished version of myself rather than a whole different person! On our wedding day, when my groom lifted my veil, his first words were "that's my Lisa". He'd been fearful I'd have been altered into looking unrecognisable but in Kay's hands there was no risk of that! She is also exceptionally thoughtful and the extra touches on the wedding day were very kind.

I am so pleased I chose Kay as the makeup artist for my wedding for myself (the bride), my teenage bridesmaid and the mother of the bride. Kay has a brilliant webpage and social media presence; I really do think that the photos of her client's makeup transformations speak for themself. Every photo shows how Kay carefully highlights each womans natural beauty and makes them feel so beautiful and fills them with so confidence, she is a true artist. I also loved that Kay is passionate about using ethically sourced and cruelty free makeup, and is constantly looking out for and trying new products. Her support during the covid pandemic was brilliant, she accommodated our date change when we had to postpone and helped us to find a new hairstylist when unfortunately, our previous stylist was unavailable. Kay is very approachable and has always been on hand to answer queries and provide support not just linked to our wedding makeup but for all aspects of the wedding. Kay worked with our hairstylist to produce a wedding day timetable and everything ran like clockwork thanks to her guidance. She has such a calming presence and is just what you need what you need on your wedding day. I would 100% percent recommend Kay to any brides looking for a makeup artist. She is professional, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate.

I cannot recommend Kay enough - she is a phenomenal lady that made my wedding day and the preparation so much better. I left it a little bit late to book in make-up, but she immediately allayed my concerns by promptly finding the time to give me a make-up trial the week before the wedding. I don't like to wear too much make-up and in the trial Kay talked me through some options as I described what I wanted for the day. She showed me pictures of possible looks I may go for based on our conversation at the trial and then proceeded to make me up! She was completely accommodating when I suggested small changes in what I wanted and ensured she had all the details and photos of me at the trial to ensure she could create the same look again on the day. She was extremely professional in her preparations, taking care to ensure I had no allergies and used the best equipment (e.g. airbrush foundation) at no extra cost to ensure the look was perfect and lasting. Not only was she professional, but she was so friendly and seemed genuinely interested in my day and making sure it went smoothly. She arrived on time on the day and made the morning enjoyable with her presence, getting on with all my friends and family who were there during the special preparation moments. She was the last to leave as I got the car to the church, making sure I didn't need any last minute touch-ups. She provided a free lipstick of my choosing for the day as well as a lovely gift of make-up remover wipes for the evening. I'm so glad I was brave enough to book a make-up lesson with Kay. I never really wore make up, and when I did I never knew what to do. I looked at several make up artists on the internet, and I liked Kay because people who's make up she had done looked both natural and beautiful, (not caked it in a mask!) So I booked a session with her, and I'm so glad I did, it was brilliant! She listened to what I wanted in terms of not too many different products, a natural look, relatively quick to do myslef, and lower end budget. She took the time to explain what to do and why, both whilst doing it on my face and in a simple diagram on her handout, and helped me to do it too. I was really pleased with the look, both an every-day look and how to adjust it for an evening out. Afterwards she sent me a really helpful write up of exactly what we did, with step by step instructions so I can't forget, and including links to the products we'd tried together and agreed they suited my skin (and my budget), so it couldn't have been simpler. She was so friendly and patient, and also really knew what she was talking about and how to make it suit you. She even answered questions I emailed her after the lesson. I'd recommend her to anyone, total beginner like me, or someone who wants more expert advice. Thank you Kay!

Actually cannot recommend Kay enough. I used Kay for my wedding make up as did my very small bridal party. We all looked completely flawless. The Airbrush make up covered all of my problem areas including blemishes and areas of redness. My look was so "me" and I knew it would last all night. Kay also put me at ease throughout the process, genuinely was so helpful. I cannot thank her enough.
