Dan offers a fantastic service of coming to you to pick up and drop off your bike and compared to shops around Birmingham suburbs, his prices were very competitive and saved me the hassle of taking the bike to a shop. His communication throughout the process of my bike build was fantastic and he is a very skilled bike mechanic. I’ve had no issues with the bike and would definitely recommend Dan’s service and will continue to use him in future. Thanks Dan for your great work

Took my Boardman road bike to Dan's workshop at Umberslade Farm for a service. Couldn't be happier! Bike was ready when stated (next day) and all work carried out as discussed. No hidden costs or surprises. Bike returned cleaned and running great now. The thing I liked most was that Dan and his assistant seem to really enjoy what they are doing and get pleasure from doing a good job. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service, very reasonable prices and 100% transparency with the repairs. He comes to your doorstep to pick up the bicycle and will also drop it off again. When I called, he dropped by the same night to have a look and gave me an estimate about the repairs needed and when he could pick up the bicycle to repair it. The bike runs flawlessly again now. Thank you very much! I will definitely come back for regular bike services.

Dan is the only mechanic I’ve encountered who personally takes every bike for a test ride before returning it to the customer. It’s this level of attention to detail and customer satisfaction that puts this service ahead of the competition. I’m very happy with the service I have received and will not hesitate to call Dan when my next service is due (or I break something!)

Outrageously good service from Dan, can’t recommend him highly enough! 31 hours from finding him online to having 2 neglected bikes ready to ride. He is very friendly, knowledgable and punctual (which is becoming a lot harder to find nowadays). Nothing was too much trouble and his price was great value. Great honest service.. I've got a bike which I'd not used for 2 years and I don't know the first thing about bikes. Rang Dan he can same day picked up the bike. I did admit I knew nothing about bikes. His initial assessment of the bike was that I'd probably get away with just a standard service but he'd keep me informed. My back wheel needed fixing spokes where loose. He did say if he could not fix it I might need a new wheel. As it turned out Dan fixed the wheel (good for a few months) and just had to do a standard service... I got to admit I was expecting more but he just proved to be very honest and he's work is good. in these troublesome times of lock-down the bike is getting me my exercise. Thanks Dan for a great service. Highly Highly recommend.

I was looking online and trying to find a decent bike shop to replace my front gear cable. With the current virus pandemic and demand for bikes and bike repairs were astonishing (over 3 weeks). I saw a good review about Dan and decided to call him. After about 2mins in the conversation i knew he not only knows his stuff, but also is a down to earth guy. I decided to gamble and give him the job along with my mates bike too. All i want to say, his man of his words, on time and very professional and down to earth. His prices and advice was not to get your cash, but rather save it. His number is saved in my contact list and now only he will ever touch my bike for work. 110% recommend.

Had my bike serviced by Dan. It's a 16 year Trek hybrid Cassette, chain, brakes, front stem all replaced. It feels slick and new. Cleaned, better than I could have done it. Really impressed. Picked up and returned in a week. Would highly recommend. Pity he doesn't fix cars!

I usually use my local independent bike shop for repairs on my Cannondale road bike however they could not book in for a while. Dan slotted me in and visited at 730pm. EXCELLENT!! I had bought a bike on Gumtree and honestly, the bike had seen better days. The brakes and gears were not working at all and the back wheel axis broke few days after purchase. Anyways, I was told about this guy who drives his van and does bike repairs and I decided to call him. He came by and repaired the bike in less than half an hour. He charged me his cheapest service and the bike was going perfect from then on. I just had to call him a second time to check the axis and he came by to quickly fix it. I was blown away by the professionalism Dan has and the 5 star service he brings. Really humble and down to earth guy. Really recommend it!

Very happy with the service, i called Dan and he was round within 2 hours to service my 2 mountain bikes. He did a full basic service on the brakes and gears to the same standard as any retailer but for less than half the price of one bike at a shop for the 2 bikes. He even showed me what he was doing for future reference for the basic adjustments, you wouldn't get that from any retailer! All in all, Dan came to me, charged an extremely reasonable rate, is personable and is a young entreprenaur - why on earth would you use anything else??

I have contacted Dan yesterday to discuss an issue I have had with Nexus 8 hub. I am a complete Novice when it comes to Bike repairs but Dan has given me detailed instructions over the phone, with which I managed to fix the issue myself.
