Absolutely smashing company. I highly recommend! Had an issue with a stuck locking nut on axle, which Jack happily took care of. Had the pleasure of chatting over some details with him about my plans with the bike and he gave invaluable information and insight. Top bloke and would recommend to anyone who is looking to get their bike repaired or need tools/parts for their bike.

We bought a Trek and two Frog kids bikes a few years ago as starters for our boys and received excellent service. Just been back to get the eldest a new bike and trade in one of the Frog's. I cannot praise the staff enough. They let us try out different bikes, gave their honest opinions and helped us make a good choice for a bike that will last a good few years, without spending a fortune. The staff also found a spare reflector to replace a cracked one and showed real interest and encouragement towards my son. The knowledge and patience of the staff has been excellent in every interaction I've had with the shop. We'll definitely be back.

This is a great bike shop. Just bought the second of two bikes I have got for my children (A Giant and a Frog). The staff are friendly, and the appointment system they are working for COVID is very well administrated. They stock an impressive range of bikes and accessories, and the advice you get from a local bike shop is invaluable.

I never had a chance to actually visit a shop for anything given I don't live in Bournemouth but I would like to review their EXCELLENT custom spoke cutting service. I have now ordered several sets of spokes for my wheel builds and I find their prices are absolutely unrivalled. Their spoke and nipple selection is vast too and delivery incredibly speedy. If the shop is run the same way then I would highly recommend!

I recently had my commuting bike fixed at this store and was very impressed with the quick and efficient service. As a female cyclist, in the past, I have sometimes felt intimidated by visiting a bike shop. However, I didn't experience this at Cycleworks, the team were so friendly and happy to offer advice, I felt completely at ease. Great shop, friendly helpful staff and great range of products. They have serviced the suspension on both mine and my girlfriends bike, and helped with buying a bike for our little girl. They also offered a part exchange option when we wanted to upgrade her bike when she grew out of it. I have always been pleasantly surprised by the prices they have given me for work carried out and how fast their turn around was.

For the past 6 or 7 years I've been using this shop; from back when it was Forest Leisure Cycles, and now that it's Cycleworks. The mechanics always give sound advice and normally have the parts you need in stock, the sales team have sold me a few bikes, mainly for my little brother and sister. I regularly have had my bike serviced by the team and have never had a single complaint. Normally repairs take 1-2 days, but often they can be done whilst you wait. The staff and owner are knowledgeable and approachable also, and never make you feel stupid, the shop is incredibly well stocked and if they haven't got the item it's often there in a couple of days. Well recommended, and will continue to use them when I'm in town :)

I went in last week to look at different roads bikes as I was not sure what exactly I was after. I ended up trying two different bikes. I found the service to be very good and was treated well, as you would hope to be treated as a customer. Both sales staff were polite and friendly and gave good advice during our chat about the bikes. I am still undecided about the bike of my choice, however, I wanted to write this review to let others know what good service I received. Once I had given my budget there was no hard sell or a feeling of being steered towards a certain bike of a higher value, or being lead down a certain path. (An experience I had from another bike shop, not a million miles from Cycleworks. I left the shop feeling only customer's who spent enough were considered worthy). Very friendly and good service. Whatever I decide I will be recommending this bike shop to other fellow cyclists and will be happy to go there again for my cycling needs. Thank you!

After i pursued my dad to start riding a bike for a healthy lifestyle change, we popped down to our local bike shop Bournemouth cycleworks. We got the best bike we had ever seen, my dad is like a little boy again. This ofcourse made me very jealous and i got myself an absolute beast of a bike. New bike journey was a choice of 3 to start with, me and the great staff quickly but nice and relaxed, narrowed it down to the trek remedy 8. The giant reign in orange was the business but to small for me (last 1 in stock). Got lots of goodies and advice. Im always in there driving them mad but they look after me and help me out on questions or kit i need. The bike and team at cycleworks are fantastic, i told the postman and he went there to get his bike. now the wife wants a e bike. Bike is due its 50hour fork and shock service soon, so will be in there for that and a service. Thanks guys

Great service from friendly, knowledgeable staff. I bought a Early Rider Belter from them in November (it's a brilliant first bike for kids - check it out!). I loved the bike so much I bought a second one (direct from the manufacturer in order to have it re-sprayed) and the techs at shop have been great at helping prep the frame for the powder coating, then skimming the newly painted faces of the frame and re-assembly. They were also super accommodating of my tight timescales!! I will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Have been going to the shop for a while to get my Canyon Spectral serviced as well as getting a few additional upgrades, always had great service from the mechanics so when it came to upgrading too a new bike, they were my first choice. Spoke to the manager about what I was looking for and he recommended the new Trek Remedy 2017, he got it spot on! It's an excellent bike and tackles everything that I do in the Uk, can't wait to get to the alps next year. Continue getting the same great service, would recommend them for a visit.

Excellent customer service! I came in ready to buy a new bike and Mike was very helpful with trying all the different options! Ended up with a new handlebar for my bike instead and it made a huge difference just like Mike suggested. I bought my bike through these guys a year a go on the Cycle to work scheme, went in to the shop was honest with them about my motivations about losing weight, they recommended a few bikes to me, i settled on the Giant Talon 29er 2 & could not be happier with that choice. I had to take it in this week as it needed a little TLC and was again pleasantly surprised of how welcoming and knowledgeable these guys are, could not recommend them more!

I tried to set up my road bike myself but with too many variables I could not achieve the ‘sweet spot’ I desired. I eventually admitted defeat and called Bournemouth Cycle Works and an appointment was duly made with Jack. Jack took time to understand my riding habits and riding goals and with this in mind he set about looking at all aspects of the bike set up whether it be the saddle position, pedal positioning, float in the shoe and movement in the knee etc. I am sure the appointment over ran, but Jack was in no rush to finish until I was completely happy with the set up. I was so pleased with the bike fit process that I have booked in my mountain bike for a similar set up review.

Most Excellent Service! Had to trade up due to my cycling habits changing from off road to road cycling. I highly recommend Bournemouth Cycleworks who went out of their way to repair my Kalkhoff Pro Connect X27 bicycle. They were my last resort after trying a number of other Kalkhoff agents all of whom said it couldn't be repaired. An excellent service and I will certainly use them again if required. I have had my bikes serviced here now for a couple of years. Great service, skilled staff and keen prices. Good source of bike advice as well. Another visit to Bournemouth Cycleworks (February 2103) to have my bike serviced and an SP dynamo hub fitted. Usual very helpful staff and excellent reasonably priced work on the bike. My local cycle shop said they couldn't fit the dynamo hub! They should go to Bournemouth and see how it is done...!

Took my damaged front wheel to the shop after a fall in the woods. The staff advised me it would need a need rim but the hub could be re used. All work finished in 48hrs my bike was given a look over to check for any other damaged. Great service and great advice. Would highly recommend the shop to anyone. Thanks again men.

I bought a new Cannondale Synapse in Bournemouth though live nowhere near there. Jack at Cycleworks was highly recommended to me to get the bike fit at the same time as the new bike.......and he was great. I have had a Retul fit before which was more via computer and done with less personal interaction and explanation. Jack was not only extremely thorough with understanding my goals and body shape but explained very simply how he was applying the numbers to the fit of the bike, shoes, cleats etc. He was patient with my questions and I'm sure spent much longer than intended to get the fit just right! Jack is very knowledgeable and clearly experienced and I have great confidence in the my set up on my lovely new bike! thanks Jack!

Great customer service.Very happy with repairs to my Giant stance. I originally took my bike to Primera who said they couldn't get matching rhanger for derallier as was a Giant bike and to go elsewhere!?! What the hell?? When i came here they advised is a universally used part. They also replaced derallier, gear cables and also chain. Very happy with the work carried out and will definitely be back.
