Bruce cycles to you with his repair kit which was very convenient for me as I had two kid's bikes needing repair. He first inspects both bikes giving good advice on what kind of service is required for each and the expected cost, which is extremely reasonable. Bruce is very courteous and friendly and did both repairs to an excellent standard. Can thoroughly recommend Getafix Cycles.

Excellent service on my road bike from Bruce. Firstly it’s extremely convenient as he comes to your house and fixes it outside for you. But also, Bruce clearly cares about what he does and wants you to learn more about casual maintenance as well - it was great that he talked me through aspects of the work he’d done in a simple and accessible way. I had two bikes needing an urgent service as they both had wedged their chains against the rear cogs. Bruce was able to come over and fix the bikes at our house in the garden. Bruce was able to identify issues and offer well priced solutions to other issues found with the service and the overall cost was very reasonable. Bruce came to my work to fix my bike for me, which I thought was beyond repair. He was very respectful, made himself scarce (my work environment is very busy!) and he did an amazing job on my bike which is now running like a dream after not seeing any action for almost three years and being stored outside! I expected to pay a lot for this but Bruce's rate was incredibly reasonable. I really liked the fact that I didn't need to take it somewhere, leave it with them and go back and get it, and I was able to ride home the very same day. I would 100% recommend Getafix Cycles and will definitely use them again!

Bruce cycled to our house in hilly Patcham to service two bikes. They are both running like a dream now. Bruce knows everything there is to know about bikes and offers very useful advice on maintaining them. Very reasonable rates too - what's not to like?

I first came across Bruce at my place of work where he tuned up my bike a few times as part of his Dr Bike scheme. I was keen to get my bike serviced again but a lot of shops were booked up due to the increased popularity of cycling currently. I gave Bruce a call and he came round the following week. He is friendly, honest and knowledgable and got my bike cleaned up and running smoothly. I paid a small charge on top of the labour costs due to being a bit out of town but it was still a competitive price and the convenience of a home service means it was worth it. Thanks Bruce!

A fantastic option for bike repair! Mobile service avoids the hassle of moving bikes around and offers a unique opportunity to chat about your bike, its performance and receive some riding and maintenance tips- a benefit I wouldn't have received from a standard bike shop. Bruce is very friendly and reliable and dedicated to quality, promptly returning to make adjustments at no cost when a Plan A repair didn't survive my teen's harsh riding. The bike is now holding up really well.
