Just had a gear service at the Giant store in Bradley Stoke. Roger in the workshop was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and friendly. He diagnosed the issue when I dropped the bike off and took the time to explain the problem and how it would be fixed. What more could you ask for😊.

These guys fixed an issue that had eluded me and my local bike shop's efforts for months, fixing it in a day. Super helpful advice with some too with my wheels, really felt like Roger (think that was his name) in the workshop went absolutely above and beyond when it came to providing value for money. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff, fast repair, 10/10 would recommend to anybody.

Went in yesterday for a wheel repair and left the bike with them. Call first thing this morning (the next day) saying it is ready. Really quick, good price and really friendly staff will definitely go to them again if needed. Highley recommend.

Can't speak highly enough, the whole team are knowable with a real understanding to e-bike issues. Had real problems with chain jump on gear change. Dropped off the bike and amazed to receive a txt "bike ready to collect" two days later. Brilliant they had a free hub body service kit in stock. Can't praise Alan and Roger enough. If you've got a Giant don't mess about this is definately the place to go.

Booked in with Paul for a 3DMA bike fit on my new build as, despite using the generic geometry set up from a previous bike fit it still wasn't quite right. I was absolutely blown away by the attention to detail throughout the process, and the use of technology was absolutely amazing. Paul took the time to measure what felt like a million different angles and metrics, used his vast knowledge to know which bits of the bike to tweak, which parts needed changing or adjusting, ultimately to produce game-changing results! My first ride out on the bike post-fitting was a very windy ride, but I still felt super strong and, despite the bike being one with very aggressive geometry (Specialized Allez Sprint) it still felt super comfortable for the 5 hours I spent in the saddle! Highly recommend!!!

Great service, the staff working there was very helpful and helped me pick my dream bike plus they answered all questions I had. Excellent customer service, highly recommend! Edit! I've touched something I shouldn't have and the gears weren't working as well as I should, called the store and they fixed it for me plus explained how I can do it myself next time. Brilliant service from this store. I had problems with a new fast road e bike. I returned to the store several times. The staff were very helpful & tried to sort out the problem. I returned once again last week with the same problem & Alan offered me a full refund or an exchange for another brand new model. As I think the bike is great & my wife also has a giant road e bike & has not had any problems I went for the replacement. This is an excellent store and the customer service and workshop are brilliant. I have been in window shopping frequently over the last few years and always had a friendly welcome and the team there are always happy to chat. For the novice enthusiast like me they are happy to talk about all the basics. Having also been exchanging emails with the team over the last week I dropped into the store today as I was having issues with chain rub on my (non giant bike) gears. They put it straight onto the clamp in the workshop and were happy to talk me through how to set it up properly as i was interested. A few minutes later and it was back to perfect function. I couldn't have asked for more!!! The team here are really excellent and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I came by this place yesterday, after purchasing a bike in lockdown. I had assembled it with my father's help but it was a makeshift job and the pedals had come loose. They helped me out free of charge, put air in the tyres for me too, and also tightened up some other parts. Great people, will use them again for sure. The mechanics have just rebuilt my Giant Defy Advanced 2017 upgrading it from Tiagra to full Ultegra (hydraulic disc brakes) and replacing the aluminium wheels with a full carbon wheel set. The only things left of the original bike are the stem and seat post. I rode it this afternoon and it is an absolute dream. The guys did everything perfectly, even cleaning the old components ready for re-sale. Great service, they went above and beyond what was required to help me through a very difficult personal time. Thanks to Paul, Roger and Phil for a really positive experience.

Giant acted as the Bristol hub for our cyclists so that we can transport their bikes out to/from France for our cycling event: Le Loop. They were super-friendly and very efficient, welcoming our riders and taking good care of their bikes before our vans collect them - and the same on return - Cheers Roger! Several of our riders got Roger to service their bikes before/after their cycle tour - and the feedback was excellent. They are an important part of our extended event team and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the years to come. Thanks for a great service!

Absolutely stunning service from the team when I popped in a few weeks ago. I spoke to both James & Alex while in the store, who gave unbiased insight and helped select the perfect bike for me within my budget, an Escape 2 Disc. James even helped with some questions I had about starting enduro riding, and instead of cookie-cutter responses and factsheet checking he instead gave me some very detailed and personable information regarding a Reign he previously owned and loved, rather than just spewing numbers at me he told me about his experiences and how it felt to RIDE the bike. I was a little bit concerned about getting the right fit for my bike (along with making sure that it could cope with the commute), but not only did Alex professionally size me up there and then - and let me take the bike out on a test ride without having to make a booking - but I was given a plethora of brilliant options to upgrade the bike. I opted for a set of Marathon Plus tires, described as 'bomb-proof' by the team, and was told that the mechanics would fit them with any further charges beyond the price of the tires themselves. I was exceptionally glad of this, as I had been told that they were one of the hardest tires to fit! The mechanics themselves were very cheerful and knowledgeable - Robert in the workshop answered all the questions I had on bike maintenance and recommended some products he uses personally, leaving me with a much greater confidence in looking after my own bike. The bike itself has been holding up great - ridiculously comfortable and still feels very speedy on the commute. I've since also added mudguards to help with the damper weather, and a few bright lights, both of which I was yet again given stellar advice on by the staff. I cannot recommend this store enough. If you're after a cheap bike for your kids or a rusty old beater, sure, check out Halfords or Gumtree. But if you want excellent value for money, bespoke advice, continued customer service (even beyond the purchase itself) and an incredibly friendly and helpful atmosphere, head over to Giant Store Bristol.

My husband David visited the store with his Giant Rapid 1 bike purchased within the last 12 months after a slight fall bent the gears. Roger gave fantastic help, mending the problem on the spot and adjusting a few niggles that had developed since purchase. His help was immediate and with no charge. Really good service, cannot recommend them highly enough! They are always welcoming, helpful and knowledgable. The new bike is a treat to ride.

Bought a new bike from there a couple of years ago. I had the opportunity to test ride it before committing and the sales person was very helpful. The mechanics put it together with a custom handlebar I brought in (as the one it came with was too wide for my liking) and they even told me how much lighter it was when I was collecting - nice to see a fellow weight weenie. Also, the bike fitting service that was part of the deal was very personal. Since then I've been back for small bits and bobs for both my Giant and non-Giant bikes and the staff have always been very helpful, even if I didn't want to buy anything. Definitely feel good riding a Giant knowing these guys are around the corner should I need them.

I always get a warm welcome from who ever is at the front of store. I have used Giant for servicing before and found them to be fairly priced and dona great job. I bought my defy from the previously so knew I would get some good service when looking for a new bike. After discussing the differences between the propel and tcr I took a propel demo bike for a quick spin. They were very relaxed and gave me lots of information on the components on the model I was looking to pick up. Since buying the bike, Paul.S has been great in helping me with setting up the bike for my own fit. Will definitely be going to Giant Bristol for my next bike and/or whenever I need help with my bikes.

Purchased a bike from Giant Bristol recently. The expertise from Paul S. was definitely valuable. There was no pressure on me to purchase on of the bikes from the store. Went in with a mate to have a look a what will be my first road bike. I was really impressed with the service and welcome I got! The lads there are full of knowledge and really approachable and friendly guys. They let me test a bike out, to which they took the time to set it up for me properly so that i would get the full experience out of it. 0% finance over 6 months makes it more affordable and a small deposit is all you have to pay to kick start things. I will be going in this paid day to order my bike (which is a fairly quick turnaround from factory to shop) and would recommend this shop especially to anyone just for the Excellent customer service and the bikes are great value for what you get! Outstanding.

Been in here for road bike, and lots of times for my mountain bike. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and above all for me very good value for money. I've broken plenty of things on my bike and never paid more than £15 for any single part, and it's either in stock or can be ordered in quickly. Will definitely consider Giant for my next bike as the support seems great.

Yet again the Giant Store Bristol Team came to my rescue fixing a slightly broken bike (after a fall). I had a bit of a panic & they were brilliant!! I can't fault them. I pester them, am completely useless re bike terminology/technology (getting better!) & worry ... They answer all my silly questions, calm my worries & don't make me feel useless re my uselessness!! They always go above & beyond & I trust their work & advice 100% .... So thank you all again for helping me out with what turned out to be more then just the service that was booked. Despite there being lots of lovely bike types and bike shops out there, many of whom I have reviewed favourably, this one is my favourite. When I say favourite I mainly mean "closest" But it really is my "favourite". No really, it is. I have a Giant bike so that proves it. Don't have any other bike. I also have a Giant bike shirt. But then again, I am a giant. I'm not. Normal size really. The guys are very friendly, excellent customer service. And besides, all bikes are made by Giant anyway. Probably. I read that somewhere. A quick Google search would determine if this was true but I really can't be bothered. Great shop. Great gear.

Absotlutely brilliant customer service! I ordered a click and collect bike via Giant, to collect in Bristol. Unfortunately, there was a stock error. Giant headoffice wre absoluely bl***y awful and handled the situation in the most amateurish way (still not heard back from their CEO!). However, Giant store in Bristol were the total opposite, helpful, professional and resolved the problem, even though they themsleves were rushed off their feet with orders. I had an amazing time at Giant with club member Paul Skinner on Wednesday. I had a 3D bike fit. The technology is amazing - I would think that though as I’m a geek 🤓. Paul really knows his stuff, and between his knowhow and the software, we made some tweaks to how I sit on he bike and how the bike is positioned under me. The technology is similar to what they use for animating player movement on computer games, and there were noticeable changes in the information(of which there is more than one could shake a stick at) when adjustments were made. Three hours later (it didn’t feel that long) and two test rides later, I had bikes under me where I really felt different, more relaxed and able to put the power down where it was needed, making for a much more comfortable and efficient position for cycling. Yes it cost some 💰 but for the time it took, the years of experience and knowledge Paul has, the very detailed PDF of bike setup for use on future bikes (n+1) and the “come back if you have any problems” attitude, I feel it was money very well spent, and coming from a Scotsman that’s saying something. 😎 One month on - it’s taken time to adjust to new body shapes and different muscles being engaged or certainly in different ways, but Paul has followed up and helped to guide me, double checking measurements and guiding me on stretches and pedal technique. A follow up bike fit has been promised if necessary and I have absolutely no doubt that that promise would be fulfilled if necessary.

I had a problem with a rear cassette on a Mavic wheel and the guys sorted it in minutes and didn’t charge a thing - great service!
