Tried in vain in Inverness to get my bike booked in for a service and a few repairs. The waiting time was anything between two and three weeks!! Someone told me to try Mark at Orange Fox bikes at Muir of Ord. They said no problem, so dropped the bike off on Tuesday and and it was ready to be picked up on Wednesday. Job Done.. That's not all, I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price for the repair and service. No prizes for guessing where my bike will be getting serviced in the future. Thanks guys.... It was a pleasure meeting you and doing business with you.

Excellent Service from Orange Fox Bikes in Muir of Ord my bike was in really bad shape before Mark repaired it and it is now performing like new thanks to a new rear rim 32 custom spokes and brakes fixed, plus a very fair bill. I would highly recommend this company. Charlie Thomson. Beauly Area.

Brilliant friendly service. Been to all the bike shops round Inverness all very good but customer service here is just top Notch

Good repair work on my broken pedal crank, however my brakes were returned to me so tight they were applying pressure to the rims without any application of the brakes. The rear brake rim pads were put on at such an angle that they were making connection with the rear tyre wall causing burning rubber on the ride home. Adjusted them myself when I got home to make them safe and suitable for purpose. When I called to complain I was told the quality control was excellent and it was unlikely my brakes were in the condition they were returned to me. Expected better for the price. Will be taking my business to Square wheels instead from now on

Put my bike in for an overdue service including my front suspension forks. Andy and Mark did a 1st class job and were able to sort me out with a shiny new Burgtec stem after discovering a sheared bolt on the original one. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work done. Very friendly service and happy to chat about all things bike.

While mountain bike touring on the Great North Trail my old Hope Pro 2 rear hub failed and it needed stripping down, and some new pawls installing. I turned up first thing in the morning and the guy in the shop was incredibly helpful in sorting my bike out. Couldn't believe my luck when he found they had the spare parts in and could do the job there and then for me. Massively thankful to have found this place so I could continue the trip with only a small detour to get here. I was back on my way with a newly rebuilt hub before half 9 in the morning! I messaged Orange Fox out of hours on the off chance that my buckled front wheel, I was in the area on holiday. Mark text’d back immediately asking to bring the bike in when they open at 8.30. Safe to say this is the best bicycle shop in Northern Scotland. Brought in my bicycle needing urgent repair during my UK tour - Mark took it in while I went back home, few hours later it was done and I'm riding smooth again. Excellent, quick service for a good price, all essentials available and perfect pit-stop for NC500 or LEJOG cyclist, or anyone else really. Stay out of Inverness and bring it in here! I have a Moulton touring bike and had a problem with the SRAM hub gear. None of the bike shops in Inverness were interested in trying to fix it and I ended up here where Marl was curious and persistent and brilliant. I agree with a previous reviewer who said this is the best bile show in the region. Worth a detour. I came up from the Borders Region to fix my bike. I don't know why but most bike shop folks seem arrogant and dismissive if you have an old.bike. not this guy. He is curious.

Mark at OFB has probably seen every bike from our household come through the shop over the past year. With a whole family of bikers I need, from my own bikes all the way down to a 16 month old on his sphero velo (purchased from OFB also) his excellent attention to detail has been as welcome as his excellent value for money. BIKE FIT....I was recommended by a friend to visit Mark to get a bike fit as i was having issues with pain between my shoulder blades and tingling in my hands when riding distances of 20 miles+...spent well over an hour with him where he made adjustments throughout to suit what he saw when i was on my bike,went out on a 32 mile blast and what a huge difference it has made...both my issues resolved and cycling has even improved,excellent service...wish i had went and seen him earlier last year instead of suffering, he even took time to discuss nutrition while getting Bike Fit done....Thanks Mark..i enjoy the road much more now.
