My husband and I hadn't done any road cycling previously and had little knowledge on the subject . We contacted Drew when we were in the process of purchasing our bikes from Planet X. Drew was very helpful and provided us with support and advice on specifying frame sizes and components. We had received a mixture of advice from various retailers that all seemed to contradict each other, so having recommendations from someone with Drew's experience gave us the confidence we were finally making informed decisions. When we got our bikes, Drew came to our home and we both had a bike fit to get us set up correctly from the outset. After building our confidence on the roads over the period of a few months, we contacted Drew again and asked him to supply us with clip-less pedals, which he came and fitted to our bikes. The feeling of being more connected to the bike is great, and I'm certain will make a difference to our performance. From the outset I had been experiencing some issues with my "undercarriage" and again sought some advice from Drew, who suggested a few alterations to my saddle position. However, after several adjustments, it became obvious that the saddle provided with my bike was not going to suit my anatomy. I did a bit of research and found some other women with the same issue as myself, and purchased a saddle that had worked for them. At first, all was great, my original soft tissue problem had been resolved, much to my relief. However, after several weeks of happy cycling, a new issue developed. I made some adjustments, then some more, and still couldn't find the right position. When Drew was fitting us for pedals, we spoke again about the "new" saddle issues. I now know that the replacement saddle is still not the ideal one for me, however, Drew adjusted the position, and after an 83km cycle the following day, I only had minor discomfort and was able to enjoy the ride so much more. I can highly recommend Drew for his experience, knowledge and helpful professional manner and would definitely use him again without hesitation.

I went to Drew on recommendation as I had knee and leg pain from cycling - It’s a great wee studio that’s well appointed. Drew took his time assessing my position before recommending changes to give me more power and comfort, and explaining the reasons behind the required adjustments. 2 weeks later and after a couple of long bike rides and a few turbo sessions, I’m delighted that I’ve no niggles, no knee pain and my cycling is smoother, delighted with the results and can’t recommend him highly enough. No bull, no mad promises, no hard sell of new bars, stem, saddle, shoes, etc, etc - just a proper bike fit.

Excellent communication when booking a bike fit. Discounted price when I booked fits for my wife and myself. Arrived at my house on time in a professional manner. Explained every process and why it is important. Had replacement stems available if a different size was required and at a good price. Ensured the fit was comfortable with a test ride and ensured if any adjustments were required, would revisit when in my area at no extra charge. Results were evident the next day. Did a 25 mile charity ride. Gained 3-4 mph average speed and an extra 12 rpm cadence. If you are into cycling at any level, I highly recommend Drew. Worth every penny. Don't just rely on bike shops to set you up as they just want to move product. Thanks again Drew!!!

I would recommend a bike fit from Drew to anyone. I was suffering from niggles and Mhor pains on long rides and decided, as a relative novice, that now was the right time to get correctly fitted for my bike. I didn't expect wholesale changes. However Drew changed virtually everything on the bike. Sole minor tweaks and other significant changes. My position is now much more comfortable and also more aerodynamic. I went out for a ride the day after the fitting and the difference was apparent immediately. Climbs which I used to struggle with were much easier and I could use the drops without any problems where it had been a bit of a strain previously. Had a great bike fit with Drew ay VisualBikeFit. He is a really nice guy and easy to talk to about getting the fit right. We got everything set up and i felt good on the bike. Aafter a while i was getting a bit of numbness in my hands. Drew got me back in to sort it out. Didnt charge me for the extra session. Very impressed! Will definitely go back to him in the future when i get a new bike. UPDATE Sept 2019 Just had a second bike fit, this time for my cyclocross bike. Was a bit worried about frame size but Drew did a full fit and set my mind at rest. After some tweaks in my position and bar height, the bike feels really good to ride. Thanks Drew!

I thoroughly recommend getting a bike fit from Drew. He’s very knowledgeable on all aspects of cycling with an excellent understanding of aerodynamics and what will make you cycle faster. He’s now done two bike fits on my wife’s time trial bike, the second to ensure it is UCI compliant for an international race in France. He’s very thorough with great attention to detail.

Hi Drew, just to say thanks for the fit. After years of messing about from reading magazine articles and later watching YouTube videos I made the decision "new bike get it right". I learned loads during the session, and finally have a bike that feels right. I'm putting so much more power through the pedals now that I hardly bother getting out of the saddle on a climb. When I first contacted Drew I was a little nervous as I was at that time a novice of sorts to Road biking, albeit I had ridden years ago around Porth in Cardiff as a teenager. I sis my research and his name and business kept popping up, and a few pople had recommended him. When he arrived in his superb VW camper van and a huge glowing smile, I knew then I had picked the correct man for the joy . His personality, professionalism and experience were second to none. He is an expert in his field, and is beyond just being helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and he kept in touch after the fitting. He's not just a great professional and has the experience to back up his skill set, but a genuine all round lovely guy who made you feel comfortable and relaxed, which when it comes to being fitted correctly and professionaly is vital to getting correct the first time, and he doesn't dissapoint. I have recommended and he has fitted several friends and friends of friends and the only man I would use when I need help and advise on any cycling matters.

I would like to share my experience on my bike fit from drew I didn't even know anything about him until I noticed his tidy van parked at a house round the corner from me,so looked up his website and sent him a message,he got back to me very promptly and he managed to fit me in the next day as he had a few more to do up in Aberdeenshire,I couldn't fault him one bit he did his observations on me on the turbo trainer and he did all his adjustments and immediately on my first trial ride my average speed increased so that in itself shows that the bike fit does its job.would definitely recommend him if you want to get the best out of your bike.
