C.Went on Sunday with my partner a very good experience doing canoeing. Our guide was nice and talkative. I was quite nervous but he made me feel comfortable and was very helpful with instructing us on what to do. The trip itself was good we were on the canal for an hour and a half with a bit of wind but was nice and peaceful. Fun time out, Would recommend.

We spent the day cycling along the canal which was was great fun. We managed to visit the boat graveyard, Frampton and nearly got all the way up yo Gloucester all in a couple of hours. It was easy to navigate and take in the fantastic scenery. Bikes were really comfortable and well maintained. Helmets and locks were provided which ment we could get lunch by the side of the canal knowing that the bikes were safe.
When we come back we'll be aiming to be out one the water in on of the cannoes.

P. D.Hired four great bikes today and had a super ride to Berkeley with the family taking in country lanes and the canal tow path. The owners were very friendly and helpful, offering lots of local knowledge and advice. Thoroughly recommend this place to hire bikes. Situated right by the canal you can watch the boats go by whilst having something to eat and drink - perfect!
V. P.Hired 2 canoes today. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. All of us novices and the wind a bit gusty, but had a good time. Felt safe all of the time.
Enjoyed tea and cake on our return. Would definitely recommend.
j. e.We hired a couple of bikes from here to explore the canal.they were quick to answer the phone and Really helpful in fitting us out with suitable bikes. The guy recommended the ‘fat bum’ saddle for comfort as we were doing a 3 hour trip and although I was sceptical as I’m used to narrow saddles I was really impressed and pleasantly surprised by the difference it made (especially on the hottest day of the year !). For the ladies or anyone seeking a bit more comfort I can highly recommend it. The Black shed is a great place for a coffee, lunch and ice creams and nice gifts. And canoe hirentoo. 3 hours gave us plenty of time to visit Purton ship graveyard (really interesting) Sharpness marina at one end and the cafe at Saul marina the other end. Cycling allowed us to see more without getting so tired. The towpath is nicely surfaced and plenty wide enough. Had a great time. Thanks

We went for a long weekend and surprisingly got four bikes with a baby tailor on the same day request.
Sally was kind enough to do the attachments, gave us detailed information on where the trails were.
During the cycling, we had a puncture. The gentleman was kind enough to come all the way and replace the puncture for us. He also taught me how to change bicycle tyres as I recently got a cycle, which was very kind.
In evening, we got an extra hour due to the sun for free. :))
Will definitely come back and explore more trails.
