These guys are amazing, I took my bike in on a Friday afternoon as the gears were not working after a quick look I was told I needed a new gear cable and if I could leave it with them it would be ready beginning of next week. Later that afternoon Kevin called me to say bike was fixed and ready to collect, I couldn’t believe how quickly they sorted me out. Thank you so much Highly recommend these guys!!

Superb, professional and efficient service. We phoned to enquire about a bike (at excellent value) and spoke to Stuart who was extremely knowledgeable, polite and helpful, not to mention patient, as we phoned several times to ask various questions. He ensured that the bike was sent to us faster than usual (within 5 days) to accommodate our needs and sure enough, the bike arrived, was easy to put together and suits perfectly. I first came to Cycle Revolution Ipswich in maybe 2018? Where I bought my first hybrid bike. I remember then that they were fantastically helpful and informative and I was able to take a few bikes on test rides. I've used them a number of times in the years since and always found them to be excellent and friendly, whether servicing my bike, advising on parts, or even dealing with a light I bought that died well before it's time. Nothing is ever any bother, never anything that they won't help out with if they can. My favourite bike shop by far.

I purchased a new Whyte 905 MTB online. The bike was sent out very quickly and arrived by next day courier. Despite the bike having been packaged up very well, the 'mech hanger' had become bent in transit. Just one of those things. I emailed Cycle Revolution and they were brilliant. They sent a new hanger by next day delivery and even offered to credit me if I needed help from my local bike shop. Fabulous service.

I purchased a Cube 160 Action Team from the Ipswich shop. The chap who sold it to me was Matt. In all honesty, this is by far the best shop and service you will receive when buying a bike. The guys there are highly knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about bikes. Matt did me a great deal and the after-sales service is really superb. I can’t recommend highly enough. Great experience. I ordered a new bicycle online late in the evening (Cube Attain GTC Race), along with mudguards. Next morning, I got a phone call from the Ipswich branch, asking if the mudguards were for that bike (they were!), and warning me that they would be very difficult to fit. They were then happy to remove the mudguards from the order and refund me, as they were out of stock of the Cube ones which did fit. I ordered on Monday night, and it gave a predicted delivery of Monday-Tuesday next week, but in fact they had the bike despatched on Wednesday, and it arrived today (Thursday), so very much quicker than the estimate. They also sent a full PDI report, with photos, before despatch, and the bike arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with the service.

My husband's bike needed a new bottom bracket. I was told there was a 6 week waiting list for repairs but they would take a look at my bike to let me know what part I would need if I wanted to fix it myself. I took the bike in the next day. Not only did they have the part in stock but they fitted it for me there and then. My husband was very happy as he could ride his bike again as rehabilitation after a stroke. I bought a new mountain bike from these guys. I had it delivered to my local shop in Ipswich. The gent's in the shop set the bike up for my, advised on seat height and all that. Very friendly and helpful to. Accessories time now. The bike is superb.

A great bike shop and I can highly recommend. I broke my bike at nearby twisted oaks bike park and couldn't fix at the park. I was recommended this place as they would have the parts and the expertise to get me riding again and they certainly did that. For what was a really difficult job, they found a solution and got me back riding. Also, while I was there I observed how they assisted another 2 customers by tuning gears, pumping up tyres and being generally really helpful without anything in return. This is the type of service you get from a local bike shop and not the faceless online retailers. I highly recommend.

Dropped my bike wheel off to have a broken spoke replaced after first contacting the branch. I was warned they were very busy so they might not get the fix done very quickly but to drop the wheel in anyway. Call received the next day to say my wheel was ready for collection. Recently purchased an e cycle from cycle revolution over the phone. Shop staff were easy to deal with and took my cycle sheme voucher no problem. Bike was shipped within a few days and im really pleased with it. I did find a small paint defect on the bike which was under the packing from tbe factory and not shops fault. They were very good about it and offered to replace but i opted to accept some shop credit as compensation rather than return. All in all a good honest company and straight forward to deal with. My bike developed a crack in the frame. The guys at Thomas's contacted Specialized and handled the whole warranty claim (even finding the receipt) There were a few problems e.g Specialized sending the wrong replacement frame size but they guys got onto this immediately I cannot reccomend the team highly enough. A special mention for Kevin in the service dept who kept me uptown date almost daily, gave great advice and rebuilt my bike as soon as he could - what a great job Kevin

I bought my bike (Specialized Secteur Elite) two years ago and I received excellent customer service in choosing the right size and type of bike for my needs. Myself and my husband recently bought 2 Specialized road bikes from the Ipswich branch of Thomas's Cycle Revolution. Our knowledge of what we wanted was quite basic although we had read up on a few bikes before going in. We found the staff to be extremely helpful, explaining everything carefully and showing us which bikes would suit us, and why. We had total confidence that we were being sold the right bikes for us, which was backed up further when we read the online reviews of the bikes when we got home. We collected the bikes this weekend as agreed, and they were ready and waiting for us. The staff set us up on them, and even showed us the 'correct way' of putting them in the car! Sounds silly but it was a good tip. We have just been out on the bikes for the first time and they are truly fantastic!! Over all, the service was brilliant, the bikes are brilliant and we are looking forward to many years of great bike riding along with buying more and more from the shop no doubt!!

*UPDATED REVIEW* After writing my review, the workshop technician who carried out my original service took care of the outstanding issues. Their reaction to my review was professional, and by their own actions today, they restored my high opinion of the establishment and their staff. I will be booking another service with Thomas's Cycle Revolution at the end of the year. ****** What happened???? I need to to service my bike again and... Yeah... £120 will probably be better spent anywhere else but TCR... Bought a trek in the sales in February/March spent a bit on decent mudguard system. Husband bought a bike as well and we both invested a fair bit in peripheral items. Originally the team really helpful, I had a few mishaps with the bike, but they would always look at it free of charge. Because they were so good, I never had the free service instead lots of little services I asked if I was still applicable for a free service as per promised in bike sale but no, I had used up my quota. If you forget that they can be dismissive, and the front of house team ignore you to go after the big spending fish... The service was decent.. I paid for a silver service in the summer and asked if I could drop on Saturday as it was my only transportation (I cycle more than 90 miles a week). Originally no problem but day of the service it wasn't done and I was told it was because it shouldn't have been done on a Saturday.... Not really my problem if its been agreed already... It was done on Sunday (I think) but had to be taken back again as front derailleur and the actual teeth around from 'chain feed ' were BENT and it wasn't noticed and wrong chain feeder at back attached There was upgrade work requested on second time by husband when he took it back because I was to much of a wimp to tell them it was a shocking service. Also ribbon on right hand side of gear indicator missing. And the mechanic dropped it round.... And I sort of tried to tell him it was terrible service ... But what can I say... the whole business should have taken responsibility... Well... I'm still waiting for that ribbon..... And Im pretty much avoiding TCR. TCR are more than welcome to contact me.

I have usually found the Ipswich branch unhelpful and unfriendly unless they think you are buying a bike. The stock they carry is great (although a bit limited, they are fairly small) and the shop itself is awesome, it's brilliant to see an independent make such an effort to create nice surroundings. I've always had a much nicer experience at the Colchester branch, so maybe it depends on who you talk to?

Went in today ( 30/09/18 ) to get some shoes, pedals and cleats. They couldn't have been more helpful. I tried on several different shoes finally settling on a pair of Specialized mountain bike shoes. I choose the pedals I wanted and the cleats were fitted to my shoes. I asked if they would help set me up with fitting the pedals and fitting the bike my bike to me. The frame of my bike is a little large for me do to wrong advise from another bike shop. So they took some pics to show the problem and the fitted a sorted stem which has made a big difference. Fantastic service. High recommend
