B.Ordered a bike for my brother for Christmas '21. A few issues with stock but it was quickly resolved and delivered promptly. Would use again.

H.Haven't used Ashley's shop in ages - used to use him last century (when we all were younger, and his shop was down the road!), and always found him friendly, helpful, and a a key part of the local community. Only been in there once in the last 20 years (no car, and haven't been cycling), but nothing had changed, I'm glad to say! The shop front hasn't been open the last year - I hope he reopens. The phone number is easily findable, though. He also has an online business for bikes.

Looking for a bike during the pandemic was hard going, most are either out of stock, or have stock but not the right size. After contacting Ash cycles to see what they had in stock they where extremely helpful and found me one that was due to be in stock. Jane was extremely polite and responsive. Ash cycles had the bike we needed in stock, they responded promptly to let me know and went out of their way to help get the bike to us in time. I ordered her bike Tuesday evening and Jane kindly delivered it to my door Wednesday afternoon. Jane was even sweet enough to hide the bike when she knocked in case my little girl was around, so as not ruin the surprise. Not only that, but Jane took care to whisper at the front door in case it was a surprise present - it wasn't, but impressed with such thoughtful behaviour. H.I used to live around the corner from Ash Cycles and had bought a few bikes from them along with various cycle parts, car valeting bits and bobs etc, so i was already very pleased with the service they provide. I now live in Devon and my first port of call was to contact Ash Cycles to see if they could provide the bike i needed for my wife's Christmas present. Apart from a few issues with payment codes being a pain over the internet (nothing to do with Ash i might add) i was able to do a simple bacs payment and within a few short days i received the bike. All in all very happy with Ash Cycles and will continue to use them in the future.

I ordered and was smooth - arrived safely within 4 days max. Couldn't be happier! p.s. Small moan and is more directed at the bike manufacturers: please include model specific instructions for those not familiar with assembling bikes, doesn't seem like a big ask.

R. H.This is a proper local high street bike shop. Friendly, helpful and carrying an amazing range of accessories, bikes and spares. Anything not in stock they will source and order for you. Ash does repairs on the premises with turn around as short as one day. Service like this has been forgotten in the world of Halfords and Sports Direct.
