Great place & great customer service. I took my bike for a service & it’s like riding a new bike again. Steven kept me informed on what was needed done & the cost of the items needed & with a quick turn around I was back on the road. So pleased to have a great bike shop local. Got my great new shiny bike from Mick at BicycleBox. Knowledgeable, friendly neighbourhood shop with excellent prices. He was able to suggest and supply the best extra kit I needed - helmet, lock, lights - to get me set up. And he fixes bikes too!

Really happy with the repair I've just had done, way cheaper than I was expecting and a very reasonable turn around time. The staff were real nice, this is absolutely my go to place in North London now. It's really reassuring to know that I've found somewhere that I trust.

Been to this place a few times for punctures, always first class service. Had a new brake issue that needed fixing as soon as possible, they went to extra lengths to do it. Also, never simply push the most expensive option. Excellent all round.

Awesome customer service! Needed a cassette for my road bike that I no longer could get in the US (yes, I live in Florida, USA) and ended up contacting Mick at Bicyclebox after a recommendation of a friend. I got a full service and my bike rides like a dream now it has a new chain and brake pads. Even the rusted bearings in the headset were replaced and my rattling mudguards secured. Every inch of the machine is spotless and I am so happy. Mick is friendly and helpful and Stephen who actually did the service was meticulous, no corners cut. Highly recommended.

This is my first ever review, as I never really pay attention to them, let alone leave one myself. But I just wanted to say that the guy at Bicyclebox helped me out greatly this morning. He shared useful information and saved me money by showing me how to easily fix my broken chain myself, without having to buy a whole new one (giving my current one an extended life!). I'd highly recommend this business and only wish I could have supported them sooner! And don't listen to the reviews, go there and see for yourself. They are a small, independent business who would simply like to help keep you cycling and on the road. I would have been unable to do my job, which is entirely dependent on my bike, if I had not gone there.

Brilliant place. Very friendly, honest and extremely reasonable. Mick is clearly a lovely guy and is very knowledgeable. I previously took my (working but aging) bike to another place and was told I needed to replace almost everything. So instead I ran the bike into the ground. When it eventually stopped working I left it out in the rain and snow for a few months. I took it in to Bicyclebox and Mick was brilliant. Serviced and repaired everything, replacing only what needed replacing. I have just taken it out for a spin and it is like a new bike. Thanks Mick! I hope I dont see you too soon, but when I do I'm sure you will look after me

I have been through the doors of Bicyclebox on many occasions. The owner Mick keeps me in tip top order with minimal disruption to ensure I can keep training and racing. Numerous times I have seen him attending to other customers with the utmost friendliness and knowledgeable advice and could tell he does not try and sell people things they don’t need. A prime example of why we should keep local businesses alive if I ever saw one.

Needed a new back wheel fitted and the guys at Bicycle Box were really helpful. Told me my options and didn’t pressure me into going down the more expensive route. Great service and honest prices I was looking for a new bike shop after my usual one shut down unfortunately. I have discovered this, I went one evening, it was almost closing time and I was ready to leave the bike there for a few adjustment. I couldn't ask for more; had a cable go on my rear cassette gear selector. On my way home. Took it into see Michael...fixed as fast as he could which wasn't easy as it required a whole new caliper. As it was an jntegrated brake and gear selector of 10 years vintage...a search on ebay he found me a decent used one. Good as new. Can't be bettered.

He does what his site advertises. Bring it in and ride it home. Last Friday less than an hour into a two day charity cycle ride the gear hanger on my bike sheared. This is normally a game over situation. We were on the River Lee towpath at Ferry Lane. We looked which cycle shops were nearby and rang a few until we came across the proprietor of Bicycke Box. He said sure bring it in, see what we can do. Good to his word I took the bike in and he fashioned a hanger and within the hour of the incident I was back on the road again. The hanger held up well and I completed the two day challenge. Absolute legend. Great service.

Upsold me a full service when I just came in for brake pads, which would have been fine, but then he stuck on £5 extra for ‘labour’ to do something not very well defined and didn’t even pump the tires up. Can’t help but feel a bit ripped off.

Have good experiences at this shop, only slight frustration is opening hours. Says it opens at 9 but on the occasions I have tried to go before work the shop has still been closed at 9.20 😔
