Exceptional. My experience of bike shops over the years has been of condescension and surliness but these guys could not be further from that. They're extraordinarily friendly, stand by their work (they corrected a minor problem with my repair without question or charge), and great at what they do. My bike feels like new and it's reassuring to know there's somewhere I can trust the next time it needs care. Update: I've visited three more times since posting my original review and they continue to be exemplary. Can't recommend highly enough.

My bike has needed a servicing for a while and I've been looking for somewhere that has a passion for bikes, customer service and reasonably priced. I'd hear about Big Fun Bikes through a friend so I thought I'd give them a look. Dan and George superseded any expectations I had - they were knowledgeable, friendly, consultative and fun! Dan serviced my bike and also explained how I can keep up the maintenance and aftercare of my bike. When I rode out it was practically brand new. Fantastic service and super happy I went to see them - would highly recommend! Definitely going back here whenever I need anything done for my bike.

Friendly, laid back and working without a money hungry high street empire behind them. They gave me a beer whilst they fixed my bike. I stroked the lovely dog they have. Genuinely a great place for your bicycle needs. George and Dan are fantastic and give out none of the surly nonsense that you get with other places. The music’s always playing and you’re always met with a smile. They built a daily bike for me, and it didn’t disappoint... the right amount of fun without losing practicality. I can’t recommnend these guys enough. 👍🏻

I'm a coffin dodger unlike George and Dan. Service was prompt, helpful, well beyond the call of duty. Not a flashy, new, or expensive bike, but returned to peak performance in every way. Way easier to ride. These guys are thorough, conscientious, and, as everyone else says, reasonable. Forget Evans, and Cycle surgery. This is the place.
