S. K.Great local bike shop! Got one of my Brompton tyres replaced. Fair price and competent service. He even gave me a little ring to keep my light attachment in place and didn't even charge me for it. Can happily recommend this shop and will be coming back!
J. S.I had a rather complicated case, as I have an electric cargo bike with a puncture. It takes a lot of work and patience to take out the wheel and they did it in a short time and with great results. I was a bit scared of taking the bike to any shops as electric bikes (with hydraulic brakes) can be a nightmare to fix, but not for them. Thanks for a good and quick service.

F. M.Whenever I go into Bike and Run, whether for wet suit socks or in the last case ,an adult and a child's bike, I feel listened to, well advised and treated to a speedy professional process. The staff are helpful, and have such a vast knowledge base it's easy to get exactly what I need, what I'll "grow into" and the right cost point in one visit. If stuck I can discuss and get help on the phone, and the shop has a quick turn around for both repairs as well as ordering in things. An N2 local gem.

N.My first experience at Bike & Run.. When Steve found out I worked for the NHS he stopped everything to look after me and get my commuter bike in tiptop shape to get me to the covid front line. A real honest gentleman who takes pride in his work and has time for his customers. I subsequently needed something else looking at and againgot the same exemplary service. Highly recommended.

B. L.I'd be inclined to ignore Andrea Blundell's foot stomping childishness. I'd expect most people would react negatively to the kind of person who'd write such a petulant, self-absorbed review. Conversely, I've found the service at Bike and Run to be excellent.
My bike frame cracked and I was advised to take it back to the dealer. I'd bought the bike years ago from Bike and Run and this kind of thing can be a nightmare. Tony and his team have been really helpful in ensuring that the manufacturer honour their warranty, chasing them and securing a new replacement bike. The service has been efficient and extended to making recommendations on replacement parts, given my particular style of cycling. This was useful as I'm always having to replace 'worn' parts when the bike is being serviced. I didn't get the impression I was being funneled into a sales pitch, which was refreshing and to me demonstrates a certain level of integrity in this industry. I was even offered a bike free of charge to cover the interim period.
When approached in the right way, there is some serious knowledge and insight to be tapped among this team. They are clearly passionate about cycling, know their stuff and I'm happily recommending them to as many people as I can at the moment. Even though it's out my way, I'll be taking my new bike back there for a service when the time comes to it.

S. J.I had to get my rear wheel checked out because it was making some horrendous noise. I wasn't sure what was wrong with it but I took it into these guys and they were great. They don't treat you like an idiot and they knew I had a tight turn-around time as I was moving out of the local area.
They sorted the wheel out and returned it all clean and beautiful. Now, the most important thing is that they actually took the wheel out for a test ride to make sure it acted how it should. There are so many local bike shops that don't bother. They'd just hand it back and charge you for work done. I love the fact that they made sure it worked and worked well.
They charged my for labor and parts and the price was very reasonable.
I thoroughly recommend them. Great staff, great knowledge and to top it all, they make sure things work.
S. B.In my experience, this is a brilliant bike shop whatever kind of bike or aftersales service you're after. If you want a bike they'll let you test drive until you find the right one, without trying to sell you the most expensive. If you need some servicing, they will not only do it on the spot if it's a quick job and they have a moment (they've done this for me on several occasions) their knowledge is second to none and they don't use it to either try and rip you off, or talk down to you. It's not expensive and the staff and owner are impeccably friendly.
G.I got my new Trek bicycle from them and I've had a really good experience so far because they seem to do things well in general. All the way from when I ordered over the phone to when I collected it from the shop. I'm going for my 6 weeks service soon and I reckon I'll get the same attention and service.

They were always on hand to answer any questions, gave us the cheapest and most expensive options and were very prompt at getting our chosen bikes kitted out. I would thoroughly recommend going here.
