m.I rarely write reviews, but in this case, I am "obliged" to do so! I have always known from my experience that Bob was an honest and genuine person, but I have not been there for some time and with all the extra work he has in this period, I thought he had changed, but today I had confirmation that Bob was and he remained the honest and genuine person with amazing job knowledge. in 5 minutes, he solved a problem without replacing any part of the bike, free of charge!!!
M. S.I cannot recommend enough. I was told by multiple other places that my stuck crank bolt was impossible to fix, or that it'd cost me three figures for the privilege. Bob took one look and said 'leave it with me' and fixed what I thought was unfixable. And then didn't inflate the cost! 10/10 service, super friendly and warm. If you've got a bike, bring it to Bob.
J.I don't write reviews often but I have to support Bob.
Incredible shop, almost always fixes your bike on the spot- but if not the absolute longest I've had to wait is just a couple of hours. Best pricing you'll find anywhere in central London, and the boys are always happy to have a chat/explain to you what they are doing or what your issue is.
Couldn't recommend enough this place. If you are thinking of going to Recycled at Elephant station, don't. It is 100% worth the 10 mins walk to come here instead.

F. B.Just a really nice guy and excellent customer service. I bought a bike a couple of months ago from a company based in Germany and it definitely came with its fair share of teething problems. I've popped in to see Bob a couple of times - needing a new clamp for my seat post, a fix for a broken chain, and a complete service of bolts that kept loosening. All of this has cost me £10 - in total! My bike now rides like a dream and I'm so much more confident on it. This is definitely down to Bob and knowing that I had a real professional look at it and get it up to scratch for me. Thoroughly recommend.

W.I searched the whole area of South London looking for a good bike shop - this one is by far the best; the bikes are half the price of the bikes in other shops (though it's normally a small selection), and Bob has to be the best and most helpful shop manager I've met! He'll sort out any bike problem for next to nothing in return. Highly recommended!
B.5/5. Bob is very friendly, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Best of all, he actually cares about sticking with you until your problem's fixed, not about charging you through the roof every time he lays a hand on your bike, unlike certain big 'cycling stores'! Definitely worth considering, even if it's a bit out of the way for you.
T. B.Definitely recommend this place. We bought 2 used cycles and got them serviced here. One of the cycles was in pretty bad shape (bottom bracket broken after 3 rides, gears not working, etc.), and Bob spent a good amount of time with it and helped us solve our problem within our budget. He's really easy to work with and will sort you out!

Blows Edwardes' Cycles down the road out of the water - they're curt, unfriendly, and can't even identify a misaligned wheel. If you're choosing where to put your money, you'll get a hell of a lot more from Bob.

D. O.Wow. Old school. Thank god I got two punctures this morning or I would never of had the pleasure of meeting Bob and Teddy (pictured changing my tube). Honest, knowledgeable and great value. They charged me no-brand prices for schwalbe tubes and Teddy changed one in 5 minutes there and then. When I inquired about a moulton project that I have, I was quickly introduced to a gentleman who owned 14 - who was equally brilliant and informative. South London Legends.

I. F.Normally I used to fix my own bike, however replacing the inner tube on fixie bike wasn't easy as it took me about three hours with no result. Bob's Cycles fixed it as very smoothly, and looked very easy. Excellent, quick and super professional service with very decent price. Highly recommended for Bob's Cycles and they are very professional indeed.

My bike was sorted in seconds, turned out I needed a new tyre as well but they had the best tyres ready in stock - all fitted for me and I wasn't even charged for labour. I'll go here again in future for all servicing. Highly recommend.

M. W.Bob is great. I read the reviews, and thought I'd try him out, having come off my bike, and buckled the wheel badly. Most places would have told me that I'd need a new wheel. Bob said it was bad, but he'd have a go at straightening it first. He did a great job, for a really reasonable price, and tightened the cranks and brakes without charging any more. I'm recommending him to everyone. Much better than other local places, and so much more reasonable than places I've been to around Spitalfields, that I can't believe it.

Edit: Went back 4 weeks later for another flat (this was totally my fault), and left my bike there over the weekend for a routine maintenance as I was going out of town. Came back on Monday to find that he (i) fixed my flat; (ii) changed my rusting-chain; (iii) changed and tightened my brake cables; and (iv) loosened one of my stuck derailers all for £25! [Of course, this may vary according to your bike condition]. But, seriously, do not go anywhere else! Bob is a top notch fella!

V.It's Saturday morning on a summer day, the sun is shining, you are full of energy and ready for a nice ride on your bike, but then, as long you are out you realize you have a flat tire, disappointment takes over you, one look at Google and I discover that at few hundreds meter there is a bike repair shop and its open on Saturday morning, I arrive there and after, literally few seconds, I have a man with a smile on his face that is already operating on the wheel, put a new tube, check the gear and give me back my bike after less than 5 minutes, all for 10£.

J. B.I have a very beautiful bike called Viva Bellisimo, it is red and I have rolled all round London with people telling me that it is a nice bike. The back mud guard got mysteriously cracked in half and I went to Evans to see if they would fix it on the warranty. No chance, capitalist pigs! They blamed it on the global economy and said they wouldn't even fix it if I paid them. So I fixed it myself with chewing gum not very well. Last night I cycled up to Kings Cross to go to this amazing Jazz night and on the way I got a puncture. I wheeled the bike home around six in the morning having sung myself hoarse singing the Revolution of Love. Today hung over I thought I'd take it to a bike shop to fix the puncture and maybe the mudguard. I found Bob's just around the corner. He fixed it in about twenty minutes and charged £10, he also said he might be able to get a spare mudguard off his supplier. Lovely man, a saint.
B.Probably the last and the best cowboy left in London!
Super helpful and always does his magic by supplying parts what no one else can.

P. R.Recently discovered this place, which is stupid as I live just round the corner. Had a punture, needed frint n back lights, tires needed air and breaks adjusting. Bob did it there and then, no fuss. Gave me advise about my tires, in and out 20 mins, Charged me £30. So much better than Evans ect, Bob wants you on your bike. Good onya Bob.
