I visited this store on 21 of January and my bikes' frame was supposed to be changed. There is no doubt Brompton bikes are amazing but I want to talk about its staff in this branch. They are super nice and helpful and you can't ask for any better service. Mr.Coran was the one who serviced my bike and he is really helpful and without the doubt he is one of the best staff there, thank you all for fantastic customer service.

Thiago & Ross are top tier. Took me 2 days to get my Brompton P line & they were super helpful and patient through the whole ordeal. While purchasing on the second day Thiago even gave my girlfriend an in depth tour of all the different models and allowed her to lift display bikes for weight differences. Top Top Stuff ! When one becomes new to an experience and makes a conscious decision to consume a product, let alone an expensive one, it's important that they're time and trading feels positive, which is why I am here sharing my experience with what regards the brand in conjunction with the representative store that I happened to deal with: Approximately 1 month into my purchase of a Brompton A-line, and from a touring cyclist point of experience, I can say with certainty that I am delighted for my choice and purchase. This bike is serving my alternative commuting in a very different and satisfactory way. Now with what regards my interactions with the Covent Garden Store, I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Tsiago, which has been a super-pleasant, helpful and positive person to liase with from the very first moment I walked-in to that store! As some may be aware, finding some of the bikes in the starting range can be a mission as in-store stock is close to inexistant, even in this flagship location (more to comment about this further down). Nevertheless, as I don't happen to be an impatien consumer, I was also lucky enough to receive my bike timely. Finally, a couple words on my views regarding Brompton's supply chain, which aside all the positive I have mentioned above, in this case I am not quite convinced that is a supply-chain issue they have, rather a marketing tactic to increase demand on the basic models and at the same time push consumers towards the more expensive bikes, which for some strange reason are ALL in stock in most if not all Brompton stores...something I do not feel suits the profile of a company like Brompton. Either way, my chosen product - A-line is awesome and all I need from a foldable bike and Tsiago at the Covent Garden store is a cool dude and thank you publicly.

This Brompton shop is amazing! I am a novice when it comes to bromptons, so the seller let me ride and test different bikes, whilst advising me on the different accessories required for my needs. I cannot remember your name but you were full of enthousiasm, patience and advice, and I really appreciated it. Just so you know I finally ordered my folding bike via the cycle to scheme (couldn't order it via the shop otherwise i would have). Brompton is lucky to have a brompton fan working for them! Would recommend this shop to everyone — better that the non-sepcialised shops when it comes to bromptons. PS: still chersishing the brompton t-shirt i was offered - thank you! :)

Great place, staff and great bikes which over-deliver on their promises, being by far the best folding bikes. In London, the Brompton owners have unfortunately to be prepared to be the target of potentially violent theft. Yesterday, my partner got knocked off their bike by 2 attackers on a motocycle and got kicked in the head until he would let go of his new Brompton bicycle. So all in favour of such high quality bike but please be careful when riding solo in quiet London streets. This would apply to any valuable bicycle but unfortunately, Bromptons are very recognisable.

Went to the shop to do some research and see how feasible buying a Brompton was for me. Eilis was fab - approachable, honest, knowledgable and answered all our silly questions. She spent a considerable amount of time with us but never felt rushed or pressured into anything. Would highly recommend and can’t thank her enough for making our experience such a positive one!!

I'd bought a Brompton from another outlet. Incredibly pleased as I was, there were a couple of things I didn't quite get; Bromptons necisitate a whole new understanding of how the machine makes the wheels go round, so as I was passing by, I entered the store and made my way to the workshop where I encountered the mechanics, Coran and Thiago. They greeted me with smiles so I ventured to ask if Thiago had a minute to explain a couple of things. He stopped work willingly and gave me invaluable advice and instruction; in short he solved all my problems in about 10 minutes. Honestly, I cannot recommend these guys highly enough, they wre absolutely terrific, eleven out of ten, six out of five, go there, you'll get suberb service!

Some might have given bad reviews but my whole experience there was top of the world. The star of the show, Francesca, helped me with spot-on recommendation which I ended up picking s2l metallic purple. She didn’t even rush me during the appointment as she knows that purchasing this needs serious consideration and I had just jumped on the bandwagon 😂. Had thought for a long time about buying a Brompton. I really like the way they look, the savings on tube travel in London, (approximately £1,152 a year based on two tube journeys per day, not including over-ground into London!) and just the feeling of zipping around London. I managed to get a cancellation slot and buy one recently. Thiago was brilliant at informing me of the different models, the different parts that you get with each model, and helped weigh up the pros and cons of number of gears. I finally settled on a 3 gear M handlebar all-black Brompton. He was forthcoming about any questions I had, and at no point did I feel he was hard-selling. If anyone is considering buying a Brompton bike, I'd fully recommend going to Brompton Junction in Covent Garden. Call and make an appointment if you're wanting to buy one ASAP as their waiting list stretches months (because the bikes are so popular!) But keep calling or dropping into the store to check for cancellations because you may get lucky like I did! I paid £1,350 for my model, £198 more than my rough tube-cost calculations. Think how much you pay for a gym membership per year, and consider the health benefits and not having to be stuffed into the tube every day! No brainer from my point of view, if you're thinking about getting a Brompton, pull the trigger on it and go for it! You can even get them on finance at around £60/120 per month over 12/24 months!

I’ve been dealing with the crew at Covent Garden for a while now, from small jobs like replacing a wheel or helping me fix new lights to having a full service. And they have never provided anything less than a stellar service. Always friendly and they always do their best to accommodate me despite the fact that they have been so busy over the last year. We knew long time ago how difficult to get hold of a Brompton these days so we booked in April an appointment (for early July :-), believe it or not). Today we passed by the shop to check out some accessories and we got lucky that someone have their bookings cancelled so we managed to get in right before it closes. We got even more luckier that we got Thiago who is friendly and knowledgable, he answered all the questions that we have and gave us great advice on which models to get and tips on which gears to add (Him being a frequent user of Brompton helps - he gave honest opinions instead of trying to sell you the most expensive bike). While visiting London from the continent, my chained up Brompton was stolen in Chelsea in broad daylight. I emailed to Brompton Junction and the guy responding was extremely helpful and could even secure me a replacement bike to my specs despite the factory supply situation being very tight during Covid period. So far all excellent. However when we came to the shop, the sales girl (Eilish) seemed passive, unwilling to answer basic questions, uninterested in the business to the point of being almost rude and quickly telling me I could also go and try another store. Both myself and my wife were shocked with this attitude, the girl simply doesn't belong in any sales or customer support role. The bike itself is great and I am very happy to be able to ride a Brompton again so quickly!

Home for all Brompton lovers. I visited junction to pick up my click and collect delivery. I needed quick servicing after my first ride with my new Brompton and Thiago quickly helped all my troubles! He was very kind and helpful! Brilliant service.

There's an appointment system as they can only have 2 people upstairs and 2 people downstairs at a time. I did not have an appointment but I was able to purchase a new cycle jacket which I tried on downstairs which was empty at the time. Everyone was really friendly and I was served really quickly. I can see the frustration of others on here unable to make a purchase without a pre-booked appointment (and the booking by email leaves something to be desired) but once you have an appointment this is a very slick experience. I knew enough about the bikes to know I just wanted to test-ride the different handlebar types then choose a colour, and Ryle helped me do this without fuss. Within a few minutes of arriving at store my bag was secure behind the counter and I was out test-riding, happy I'd learnt enough to make the purchase within about 20 minutes. And now I want to ditch the carbon road bike and go by Brompton if I can find half an excuse!

I took my Brompton in for a service. All work was undertaken to a high level and within the day by Pedro. Clear communication throughout regarding the work that was required and the pricing. Went the extra mile by managing, somehow, to track down replacement decals for my limited-edition bike. The bike now looks and feels like new! I had a really bad experience on Thursday 15 April but today I have to say the experience was exceptional. I required a few fittings and they were brilliant from the customer service at the entrance to the service guy who was really good. Below is my review from my experience on Thursday 15 April but today I’m really happy. Extremely rude customer service. Phoned a day earlier to purchase tyres. Was told in stock and could come over to collect, fitting wasn’t possible as they were book out but that was fine. Went to collect on Thursday 15 April and the guy more aless shouting from the stairs that they are do serving tyres to the public. Told to visit Condor or Evans....SERIOUSLY?!!! However Chris was helpful and assisted in providing the tyres. However I would refuse to be served by the the oriental looking guy if I came again due to his poor customer service....sort out Brompton!!!!

I left the shop feeling a bit guilty after the first free service. Brompton bicycles are sold with a clause that voids the warranty if a 3-month service is not carried out. I was told it was an inspection that wouldn't take long and was to validate the warranty. So with this in mind I booked my first free service a month before it was due and was given an appointment slot for 6 weeks later. It's not convenient for me to reach the store in Covent Garden, but we bought it there. When I turned up they said they were a bit busy so it would be ready 4 hours later. This was totally not what I was expecting and I instinctively complained on the spot that they should have told me during the 6 weeks I'd been waiting for my slot. A second engineer offered to do it while I waited, but I was already upset, I didn't want to have to complain. So it was done and everything was ok in the end. I followed another customer before me who apparently didn't have an appointment and took a long time, it may have drained their energy by the time my turn arrived. I don't know, I'm making excuses for them, but to ask me to wait 4 hours for a 10 minute inspection that had been booked 6 weeks earlier seemed a bit unreasonable.

My experiences of both the shop and the mechanics has always been great. In particular, Pedro one of the mechanics downstairs who has twice repaired my "Maisie" is excellent and very conscientious. He has just drilled out a snapped bolt from the front frame and retapped the thread beautifully. (Even after another shop had tried and failed). He was clearly proud of his work as he had taken pictures in his phone to show me! Maisie is now good as new and Pedro's repair saved me a costly replacement of the front frame. Overall, an excellent experience and I wouldn't take Maisie anywhere else.

I came up to London today on my 6 speed Brompton to meet a friend and by accident stumbled upto Brompton Junction and decided to buy an extended seat post and fit it myself in the street. Went back to the store today to correct the issue which they did quickly so have changed this to 3 stars 1 star - Used the mechanic there several times in the past despite the punchy price tag because they usually do a really good job as you would expect for someone who works on Bromptons every day. Picked it up before closing and a long cycle home but was genuinely shocked at what a shoddy job they'd done on this occasion. The hub gears on my 6 speed were so overtensioned that I could only use medium and high gears. Brake cable tension was really loose on the rear brakes whilst very taught on the front ehich actually made it quite hard to judge brake pressure because usually they're even. They didn't call to check before swapping several parts out and then used very expensive replacement parts such as the £25 per set(!) electric Brompton brake pads that must have diamond dust in them whilst not taking note of actual requests I'd made such as replacing the worn out alluminium hinge clamps. Finally the tester, who must be seriously tall, when extending the inner seat post, didn't mark the existing ride height so as to reset afterwards, which is pedantic I know but it would have been a thoughtful touch given the hefty £100 price tag for basic service before extras. I'm now going to have take a detour tomorrow to get it sorted but might as well use a standard bike shop if this is this is how it's going to be now.

It's the Super Store in LDN. I don't understand why some people are disappointed with the staff of the Shop. From the moment I entered I was welcomed and treated in the most professional and friendly way. I am friendly myself with people that work in retail shops. It's a tough job not easy at all. SO PLEASED to have brought my Brompton bike to the store to get fixed. I bought my bike from Cycle Surgery, who I was having an incredibly frustrating experience with in fixing the seat post sleeve that snapped the day after I took it into Cycle Surgery for its 6 week service. The project was a refurb of a neglected early-model Brompton bought from my brother-in-law. Called in for a spare bolt for a shifter, the mechanics not only fitted it, but replaced a faulty gear cable and completely tuned the two speed and hub; all without an appointment and under warranty. OK, they were quiet at the time, but none of this 'you've gotta make an appointment' nonsense. Superb service, plus the bike runs better than it ever has. Top marks.

So, today was my first day in the cycling world, after waiting for some time to book an appointment, went there met Thiago, gave me detailed explanation about different types what do I need to do and to have, and what’s not necessarily now, we even made an online conference with my brother abroad he was friendly, taking care of social distancing and all precautions, at the end of the day I came back home happy with my 1st bike 😊

I wouldn't call myself a cyclist, I commute to work on a Brompton and ride about 70 miles per week doing so. Having said that, I love my Brompton and it's my primary means of transport. I took my bike to Covent Garden Brompton Junction for a service last week. After 5 years of commuting, the bike needed a fair amount of work, new brakes, new brake cables, new gear cable, new rear tyre, new sprocket new chain, new pedal and a few other bits I'd never even heard of. The technician who diagnosed the problems was friendly, professional and matter of fact. The technician who carried out the service (Pedro) was charming, professional and thorough. My bike is back in showroom condition and I couldn't be happier. All companies like to make you think they care, but Brompton actually do care.

Came here with my Japanese friend who lives in London and is a great Brompton fan. He had bought his here and comes for service. The staff was friendly to the different customers, answering questions. My friend suddenly decided I should have a trial and we were given two Bromptons. The staff explained to me how to use and fold and off we went through the streets of London for while after leaving our ID. It was a great experience but you have to be a lover of Bromptons.

The new Brompton shop looks amazing! Well thought out interior design and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! Downstairs is a workshop and a cafe called "The Canteen" at Brompton Junction, where I was greeted by friendly staff. One of the best coffee's I've had for a while! And the food portions were very generous! Quick to serve and an excellent range of dishes for such a reasonable price! A chilled and relaxing atmosphere. I was able to get my Brompton serviced whilst I sat and had my coffee and the slow roast lamb in a bun. Delicious! All British produce. Can't wait to try some Tregothnan when I get home! Tea grown in England :)

Seriously interested in Bromptons. Know several people who own them although I own a bunch of hybrids. Good knowledge in this shop and they do not seem to stock a lot but are really well up on parts and consumables. So not sure would buy a Brompton here but would definitely come here for any parts as I service my bikes and can see they know what they are talking about.

This is more of a showroom than a shop. The sales guy told me that they tend to stock the less popular variants so as not to compete with the other retailers that sell Bromptons, so you'll likely end up buying your bike from Evans rather than here. Definitely worth a visit though.

Without a doubt this is a place for Brompton geeks. The showroom will have you drooling, and the coffee shop downstairs serves a nice array of cakes and drinks - there's even a small library and the bar stools are made out of bike saddles.

If you own a Brompton this is where you want to come. Part showroom, part shrine (the original mk1 in the basement), part coffee shop. But it's the excellent service from the expert repair bay that keeps me coming back. They're more than happy to take a few mins to troubleshoot a niggling problem and they also stock a range of custom parts too!

I came without an appointment but was served by friendly and helpful guy at the door, then after some wait I was let in to speak to mechanic, only draw back is that you cannot browse the store,of course its not stores fault, they have to follow the current health safety rules,but shopping/browsing experience is not the same as before, hence 4 stars.
