Bought a dutch-style bike from here today with a lock and the staff were so friendly and professional! They offered to fit the lock to the frame and adjust the seat and handlebars to me free of charge. Overall a great experience. 10/10

I purchased a volt metro e/bicycle 🚲 from fudges cycles in 2016. Then i wanted to get it back on the road after not using it for about a year. Then i went to charge the battery up and it would not take a charge.? Then i took it to fudges cycles to get the problem sorted out. Then it was a process of eliminations. Then it had to be one of 3 things the battery, charger, or the fuse. It did take some time to resolve but that wasn't a problem. In the end it was the battery that failed. Then they ordered me a new battery in from volt. Now the bike runs like a gem back to normal. Many thanks to Andrew, Chris, and all the team for all of your input into this process. Would highly recommend this cycle shop to anyone wanting to purchase a bicycle of any type.

Absolutely Go-to bike shop! Professional and friendly! Always helpful! Great 5 star service! A week ago I bought a new bike there as my previous one got stolen! The guys helped me forget about the loss! Arranged a new one like to like - my insurance paid for all! Today I got a puncture - went there after 5 pm - not only did they fix it within a few minutes, but also charged me £0.00 - totally free! I do recommend Fudges Cycles shop in Chiswick to everyone! Really nice staff. Chain had broken whilst cycling through Kew to Ealing and had to walk up to chiswick to see if I could get it repaired before cycling home. They did it immediately for me and 30 mins later back on the road. Excellent service and will definitely recommend them to friends.

The shop is open during lockdown. Our bike hasn’t had anything done to it since it was bought in 2009. We had the full service and clean, together with new tyres, chain and hub and brake blocks front and rear. Fudges also fitted a new rear brake cable too. The bike now rides perfectly and looks very good for its age (see photo). All the staff were pleasant and helpful, explaining the costs beforehand including recommending the new chain and hub. This meant there were no nasty surprises when we got the bill. I’m sure the bike will be good for many years to come and we’re very happy with the work done.

Excellent, Andrew recommended this biycle to me from his father's 'Cycle Store ' on Uxbridge Road for the time I required it and my budget getting back on my bike after 35 years has been a life saver. Fantastic, knowledgeable staff who really know what they're talking about. Before visiting here, I went to Halfords up the road (seriously, don't bother going there). Great recommendations for buying a bike plus lock and helmet. They were all professional and set everything up, and I walked out with the bike soon after. Very pleased. Have since gone back a couple of times to ask questions and have never felt any trouble. It's so refreshing to see staff actually enjoying their jobs and helping people with their expertise. UPDATE: I've allotted an extra star due to the great customer service I recieved today. I was looking for advice for reassembling my bike and the member of staff who dealt with me answered all my questions with courtesy and enthusiasm. Really appreciated this. Thank you. Poor customer service. Since I became a regular customer in the last month, I must admit that my general dealings with the staff here have left me feeling unsatisfied. A recent issue I had was after having my handlebars adjusted. When I got my bike back, I realised that my front light was missing. It took Fudges 2 days to remedy this situation. - During this process, there was never an apology. In fact, I was made to feel as though I was inconveniencing them! Over the last 30 days, Fudges has done nearly £100 worth of work on my bike. (Replacing a bottom bracket, adjusting my handle bar stem and replacing my pedals.) I would have though that a returning customer like myself would have been treated with more courtesy and respect. P.S Depending on who you deal drastically changes the calibre of customer service and technical experience. On multiple occasions I've had different technicians unknowingly contradict their colleague's previous hypothesis.

A first class operation. Had full service on a very old Brompton and required a new back locking system. Nothing to difficult for these guy's. All completed and bike as good as new.

Dropped in last week for a repair after a rear wheel spoke had come loose. Lodged itself in the sprocket and popped up through the rim and punctured the inner-tube. Bike fixed and repaired for a reasonable price. In fact they must have done a mini-service as the bike hasn't ridden so well in months! Friendly and knowledgeable guys with good sense of humour.

Fantastic shop. I purchased a brand new bike from them after they were able to match a promotional price of an online shop. Yes an online store would have dumped it on my doorstep; but Fudge got it delivered to the shop within two days, made changes to it to fit it to me/ sorted pedals etc and provide me advice (with a smile) and all for FREE. There are at least 10 bike stores nearer to my flat than them but I choose to travel because the service is so good. They regularly take my bike in at short notice (it is much easier to get your bike seen than other independents and chains) and it is always ready at precisely the time stated. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and they have matched prices on deals available at bigger chains.

Halfway down TGT applied brakes and there was a horrendous squeaking noise - bike clearly hadn’t been road-tested before return... Hi. Have been 8 years in London and used Halfords for awhile. They had some knowledgeable guys from time to time but they moved on to smaller shops. So did I. I found Andrew and James at the Chiswick shop so helpful and not at all condescending. I would never go there before because the other manager was the opposite. The few times I did go there I found him pompous and extremely condescending. My friend had bought her three childrens' scooters and bicycles there and I actually purchased my used Dawes Diploma there in 2011 from a previous chap who was running the place, and my Vaude panniers as well. Unfortunately I stopped going there due to the lack of warmth I felt upon entering the shop. There was tension and a stifled atmosphere. Now all that has changed. The place looks tidy and feels welcoming. Chris introduced himself to me and was very gracious, but Andrew and James form a good team and the backbone of a great shop. Thanks for your present and future service guys, it is very much appreciated.
