I brought my bike here about 5 years ago and have been back semi regularly for various bits and pieces. I have had a great experience every time. I think they are fairly priced and know what they are doing. Today I came in because my rear spring in my caliber had seized so my brakes wouldn't release. They were so nice as per usual, and also aligned my handle bars, sorted out my lock holder and pumped up my tires. They just noticed that all these things needed to be done and asked if I'd like them to do them (for free)! In some bikes shops, I have felt quite talked down to. Some of my other female friends have mentioned having the same experience and this has never been the case here!

Brilliant independent bike workshop. Super friendly and always very honest (I asked for Gold service and was told it wasn’t needed and have the normal one) the quality is very good and staff are always polite and just happy to help. Couldn’t recommend enough

I've been coming to Goku for a few years now and Jay and the team have always been incredibly professional, responsive and friendly. It's always a pleasure to get your bike serviced here unlike so many other places I've experienced. I recently purchased one of Goku's single speed bikes which has worked an absolute wonder and is definitely one of the best investments if you commute on your bike regularly. I would highly recommend Goku to anyone, they will be able to sort out anything from minor alterations to major repairs on any type of bike.

Fast customer service at affordable prices!!! I purchased my bike in December 2015, its been a brilliant and super durable for my daily commute since then. Today I took it back for some maintenance and they got my bike back to me the same day, amazing service!!!!!!! I'm happily going to purchase my next commuter bike from them. Great Service and prices. Love supporting independent brands and we had heard nothing but good things about Goku. We both opted for their Steel framed bikes one single speed and one geared with variations between. Both bikes ride smoothly and look beautiful. For ladies I'd advise getting a new saddle thats more cushioned if you usually struggle with pain, but otherwise the bikes are great. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.

Very friendly, responsive, helpful. I had a puncture, they replaced inner tube while I waited (5 minutes) despite being busy with other customers too. Didn't try to mark up the price owing to the urgency, as some might have. The mechanic also pointed out a problem with my derailleur gear set which he fixed on the spot for free ! Really knew his stuff too. Crikey ! What a pleasure to come across such a great bike shop in an emergency. I would highly recommend these guys for servicing and general repairs.

I've had my Goku bike for about 18 months and it goes really good. Goku have extremely good prices for both new bikes and for a general service. I've recommended them to a few friends who have also been happy with their bikes. They specialise in fixies/single speeds, but they also service other bikes at their workshop.

What can I say, walked in on recommendation of a friend and designed my bike in a matter of minutes, was told it would be a 1-2 hour wait to get it which I didn’t expect at all. I was thinking it would be a few days. Then get a text 30mins later saying my bike is ready for collection. To get a new aluminium frame bike for less than £300 is difficult and whilst they may not carry an established brand if you’re only commuting on this one or two times a week then this is all you need. Note the ride is a little firm and will take some getting used to but all in all five stars for product and service

Amazing experience at this place. Placed an order for an amazing prized single speed alloy bike on a Saturday night and picked it up Sunday afternoon. Had a lovely chat with the technician and got all my extras a purchased installed without even asking with a fee inner tube thrown in aswell which was nice of them. Overall lovely experience and more importantly a very nice bike that I am very happy with.

Purchased a Goku single speed bike on Thursday afternoon with various upgrades . Bike was ready for collection amazingly within 4hrs just before closing time. Collection was made on the Saturday after waiting delivery of a helmet . Bike looked better than I imagined after my selected colour choices. Bike was set up ,and away I went on a smooth ride around Clapham Common . Very good service from the very informative J & staff members , all very helpful in the experience of my new purchase . Pleased to say after several Sunday morning laps around Battersea Park and a ride to Hyde Park yesterday completing nearly 40km on this bike with relative comfort I'm looking forward to my next adventure on this cracking bike...........keep up the good work guys

Excellent bike and shop I ordered my bike (I don't live anywhere close to London), I rang to give my delivery address and desired build request, rather than order through the website. I paid by online bank transfer, which worried me because I didn't know the company, however they were very professional about it and sent me an invoice. The staff here are amazingly helpful, the bike came exactly as requested down to the finest detail, and all my questions were responded to patiently, I had a lot of questions... The bike is also wicked, feels well built for the price, came with a broken spoke on the front wheel, I'm assuming from being gorilla fisted during delivery. Goku cycles sent me a replacement wheel immediately, free of charge. (Extra padded second time round) In conclusion, really worth the money, so far anyway, may edit this review if the bike falls to pieces, but so far so good

After an initially disappointing experience, having travelled to the shop from outside the area to collect an item which I was told was in stock, that turned out not to be, ordering online was much better. I placed an order with them on Friday, the items were shipped on the Monday and at my work in Lincoln on the Wednesday. Good service.

Great local bike and repair shop. I had a single speed that needed a little tlc and used these guys. They repaired my bike and even suggested a few fixes, also i wanted to change my handlebars, they bought them off me and put a new handlebar on at extra cost!!! I've also asked their opinion on repairs/ upgrades and they were friendly and helpful.They have secondhand bikes in and new single speeds and various cycling accesories . Go check them out!!

I've been riding a Steel frame goku for one year and a 7 months, and really I'm impressed with the bike, easy to maintain parts with standard sizes... I've completed 4000 miles, and I'm still using same frame set and wheels. Not giving 5 stars only because of the new Design, too much information on the frame, and the big logos, personally I'm not a fan I prefer clean frames, like the previous models they made.

I recently bought a Goku single speed steel frame bike for my 16 year old son. It cost £179 and is absolutely perfect for his requirements i.e. to ride around South London visiting his friends, low maintenance, looks cool. At that price, I look forward to seeing how well it withstands the misuse of a teenager, but I'm absolutely delighted so far.
