Bought my Goldhawk Rodax in January 2019 as a geared run-around-town bike, and have been loving it ever since. I like riding fixed too, but Brighton's hilly so there were many places where I just wasn't going on my fixie (Southover Street!). When I saw road.cc's glowing review of the Goldhawk on the 2nd Jan, I fell in love with it immediately, and realized that I'd found what I'd been searching for for so long... a lovely looking, quality, steel, 1x11 bike that's optimized for urban riding - especially for my daily commute. I plunked down for it, went up to London when it was ready to meet Jeff, tested out the small vs medium frame sizes, and happily rode off with the medium build that he'd done and spent the day cycling around London before heading home. And I've been loving it ever since. Also I took it on a bike packing holiday in June in the Netherlands, which also suited the bike perfectly. I got compliments on the looks in Amsterdam, and compliments on the ride from my local bike shop. It's a keeper!

I actually saw this place on Google Maps when searching for "Bicycle Repair" - as I was looking to buy some chain oil.
I rang as there was no shop front. A very nice jolly man informed me that they weren't a typical bicycle shop and make bikes instead. He then asked me what I needed and went out to meet me with chain oil in hand!
He very kindly oiled my chain free of charge and bid me a good day.
A very lovely man. Even tho I have not used the service which they advertise I can say they're nice people, big on customer satisfaction and not in it to make a quick buck.
Highly recommended 👍

I recently bought a Goldhawk and what a choice of bike I made, it’s such a comfortable, easy to ride, agile and a fast bike. Looks super cool and the spec is spot on.
The customer service is excellent and very friendly.
Thank you for designing such an excellent bicycle and ride.

I bought a Goldhawk a year ago for commuting to work every day. Apart from the beautiful appearance, style and minimal design, it’s also ergonomic and comfortable to ride. I used to suffer from shoulder and back pain from cycling in the past, and with this one I don’t feel anything like that anymore.
Also I found it very smooth, extremely fast with great manoeuvrability and control; you can go around every car so easily. The SRAM 11 speed system is more than enough; going up hills like Crouch end to Muswell Hill with no probs.
Lately I started using it for longer rides too. Last week I did Harlow to Cambridge, it was a 65km ride. I just loved it even more! I would say that this bike is a perfect mix of a commuter, touring and comfortable racer.
It stands out from the mass produced or big brands which makes it special, but it’s still affordable for a boutique bike.
My Goldhawk made me love my mornings going at work... more happy, less grumpy!

What an incredibly well thought out bicycle. Every component is on par or better than what I might have selected myself. The only upgrades I've made are the contact points (saddle and grips) and that was more a matter of personal preference than anything else -- I wanted more positions to rest my hands on longer rides. Now I find myself looking for errands to run just to sneak in additional rides. The 1x11 SRAM is as smooth a groupset as I've used. The frame is surprisingly light given that its steel. Can't recommend the Rodax enough, best hybrid I've ever owned/ridden.

I bought a Goldhawk bike and have to say I love it. Smooth, super responsive, fast, comfortable and beautiful too.
I love the 1* drive train, the red colour is beautiful. I get so many compliments about its looks.
I loved it on the tyres too. The bike is so responsive, it sort of leaps forwards even if you just touch the pedals. Highly recommended. Jeff has really thought about this bike and it shows.
Service was great, it's great round town, and lots of fun on country roads too. Very happy.

I visited Goldhawk bikes last year and received excellent customer service. They were so helpful, and the bikes are beautiful. Due to a change of circumstances I couldn't commit in the end - but it was a great experience and I loved the test ride. Thanks for all your help, so appreciated.

I purchased the Goldhawk Rodax just shy of a year ago. I’d done a fair amount of research and had a good idea of what I wanted to spend and that it had to be a flat bar. I came across the Goldhawk website, read the pitch and just decided that I’d buy it.
I’ve never regretted that decision. This is a seriously well thought out piece of kit. No front Derailleur? Genius. My pet hate has always been feathering that lever.
Every component works as it should. When it should. Quality design. Minimalistic and great looking. The last time I got appreciating looks like this was when I pegged a piece of cardboard to the spokes of my Grifter!
If I can find any fault at all - it’s that I’m not fit enough to do it justice!

They actually build bicycles not fix them; however they were more than happy to help me and pump the wheels!

Getting back into cycling and I love this bike. It feels very nimble and a real joy to ride. Mostly used for commuting but have enjoyed a few longer rides.
