Highly recommend. 3 months ago, I took my bike in for a service for the first time in 18-24 months. The team at GCW was clear in communicating what they saw as issues, why they suggested acting on them, and the options available. They did good quality work and suggested options to save me money. This week, my chain started skipping - I took it to them, and they identified a sticky link and fixed it on the spot free of charge as support for the service they had done recently. Up until the 1st of July there was good communication and professionalism. That week though, I had paid my deposit and we had arranged that I come pick up my repaired bike, but when I arrived, the shop was closed. Since then, no one has reached out to inform me of when I can collect my bike. I have called and emailed: nothing. I understand that there has been an emergency, and I truly hope everyone is ok, but there needs to be some level of communication, considering my bicycle is in the shop's possession at the moment, and it's been 2 weeks now since I was meant to pick it up (this affects other plans I have). Front and back wheels replaced at a good price. A great workshop. Since the above, the workshop has also fixed a problem with my gears and chain (on a different bike) at a reasonable price. The workshop did a great job and the gears are now working very smoothly. The guys at the workshop seem to have a great knowledge of the technical details of bicycles and I appreciate that they are happy to share this knowledge. I decided to give my 14 year old bike it's first service. I chose the Platinum service as It definitely needed it. A number of faulty parts were found, replaced and I got back an almost new bike. I visited due to a flat tyre on my way home. They got to look at my bicycle pretty quickly even though they were very busy. The guy who runs the place was very patient and knowledge. He has given me some great advice on how to avoid such flat tires in the future.

This is an amazing bike store for all bike repairs, advice, accessories etc. Jameel works with his father Abe, they have always taken my phone calls and let me bring in my bike for whatever repair was needed - whether it’s a service, a hanger problem or a puncture - and always worked to do it as quickly as possible. During lockdown they have been incredibly busy but they clearly work around the clock to get through the bikes and get them back on the road. They are transparent about timelines for a fix based on their capacity. Always a fair price too. Great local bike store to support if you live near, or are passing by the area. Jameel is always happy to chat and is clearly very passionate for bikes - this clearly translates into the work they do. Even if you just want tips for your next bike, popping by to chat is definitely worthwhile. Good broad accessory range available to purchase too.

Having used the shop several times in the past and been very pleased, I asked that a gears problem be looked at. The gears were cleaned and tuned and a cycle ride today confirmed that the gears are much better. I also really appreciated Jamal taking the time to explain how I should maintain the gears going forward and how some of the gear components could be replaced at the lowest possible cost at some point given that they're nearing end of life. Stopped by here in an emergency hunt for a pump (it's the only bike shop I've found in the surrounding area that's open until 7pm, hooray!) The service was friendly and efficient and the guy I spoke to was super helpful, explaining to me (amateur alert!) how a different shop had put a different valve on one wheel, going the extra mile to show me how to use the pump I bought with different valves and also putting my chain back on when I knocked it off on the way out of the shop (another valuable lesson for this novice). Very reasonable prices for the stuff I bought too. I will be back!

I came in on a Saturday without an appointment and asked them to put my mail order bike together that we had failed to construct ourselves. They took the bike and assured us they could sort it out same day and would call me when it was ready to collect. It was ready by end of day as promised and although a lot needed to be corrected and sorted it cost me £60 which I felt was fair for the work that was done. It rides beautifully now. So five stars for friendly, fast and quality service.

Excellent customer service and really well stocked. Didnt feel under any pressure to buy, was offered assistance if needed with helpful instructions on how my new bike helmet should fit. Superb bike shop that offered a full bike renovation for ~£130 even where the bike hadn't been serviced for ~15 years! came back clean, parts changed where relevant, and kept the bike to allow de-greasing which perhaps could have been space for other bikes. Just had my Brompton serviced by these guys and they are amazing! The had two years of London commuter wear (26KM/day). They fixed an issue with front hub (bearings) and replaced the chain with a lighter, more hard wearing version and a rear gear sprocket with a genuine part. The bike now feel super tuned after one of their gold services and actually feels better than it did new.

I found this bike servicing business not long after they opened back in 2016. They are consistently and unfailingly professional and very warm, friendly and engaging. Their shop is bright, spotless and immaculately organised. They have endless patience, are excellent listeners and they have helped me learn about the basic workings of my bike and how to look after my bike in between services. This has helped me immensely gain more confidence in my daily cycling. Their expertise, knowledge, work ethics and integrity are second to none. They have looked after all the Bromptons I've owned and my vintage style Dutch bikes. They have a very broad range of constantly evolving superior bike parts and accessories in their shop too. Their servicing rates are very competitive and fair. And always before they undertake any work on my bikes, they tell me clearly what needs doing and all costs, which only adds to their transparency and integrity. They always endeavour to do whatever work is necessary on my bike and I ride back home the same day but if needs be, they are the ONLY bike servicing business I've ever dealt since I began cycling in around 2004, that I would trust to leave any of my bikes with. My bikes always look, feel and ride like brand new after these wonderful people have done their magic! I trust them implicitly. I constantly tell other cyclists about them. Likewise, if any of my bikes are admired by non cyclists, I tell the admirers about them so they will pass the word on. This wonderful family owned business is growing rapidly as is their reputation and they thoroughly deserve it. I cannot recommend them highly enough. First class. 10/10

I went in to buy a mount for my phone and the service was excellent. The guy showed me how to use it, where to place it on my bike and even opened the box to check my phone would fit before I had bought it. He also said if I had any trouble fitting it myself to just bring my bike in and he would do it for me. The mount I got is also waterproof which means I won't need to buy another one when it gets to winter, something I hadn't thought of when I was looking online. Well worth the extra few quid.

Had a full service on a bike that needed it and got it back the same day. They reviewed what work was needed and gave me an estimate so that it wasn't too much of a shock when it came to pay. Bike feels better for it, and when I needed a tweak a couple of days later which they sorted it without charge. Prices were reasonable and the turnaround time was much better than any other workshop I've been to.

Do not look anywhere else those guys get it sorted!!!! There is only 5 stars to be awarded and that is a little short. With the first service I had in that shop they sorted my bike when 10 shops had failed. I have been visiting most of the cycle shops un London and if I’ve been ripped of a lot of time. Never ever I’ve met some guys with that level of expertise and that real honesty. They will never abuse your trust and always ask you twice to confirm before committing to a repair. The level of knowledge and the skills of the mechanic only matches the polite and silky service of his son running the front of house. Nobody else then them ever touch my bike since! To get a glimpse of their work just pop up a yin the shop and watch them work - Simple!!!

They also fixed a large number of issues arising from a recent silver service and cassette/chain change at another shop in Greenwich which left my bike barely functional. Had a puncture this morning. Between Lewisham and Greenwich, and needed to fix it fast. These guys were on the way to the office and would be open at a reasonable time so I stuck around. The guys there were very knowledgeable and friendly. Gave me plenty of options, and the service provided was excellent. They changed the tyre and the inner tube in less than 15 minutes and that was with my questions about electric upgrades to a road bike and panniers. They provide a full set of services and I can honestly say based on interactions they had with a couple of other customers who walked in, they provide an excellent service. Highly recommended. By the way, the price of the inner tube, tyre and labour came to £54. Which once compared with online deals was only £1 over for the tyre and £1 over for the inner tube. Which in my opinion is an absolute bargain. Especially as I was back up and running in no time at all. Thank you Greenwich Cycle Workshop for the excellent service. Need to book my bike MOT now!

Not only was the service on my old Peugeot exceptional, so much so that it now runs like a brand new bike, the team at Greenwich cycles went to great lengths to get a replacement part which I would have struggled to find and would have cost me a lot more had I managed to track it down. Good selection of services and parts offered without prejudice or any attempt to "upsell" beyond what you need at really competitive, transparent prices. Everything I've had done here, from a new innertube for my daughters 14" training bike, to my carbon fibre Di2 road bike tuned, tweaked and serviced, has and been done with the same care, attention to detail and obvious skill and experience. It’s not often that I go into a bike store and feel like this. The previous day I had taken my poor back wheel into 3 chain shops to get a spoke fixed and each time I came out feeling like my business wasn’t at all important. I think sometimes you have to take the long way around to get to when you need to be. The two chaps at Greenwich Cycle Workshop impressed me immediately by acknowledging my presence and then making every effort to get my wheel back in shape. Their competence and knowledge and especially understanding prompted me to bring my touring bike back for a service and also to rebuild a favourite old racing bike of mine. They spent the time and effort to source the right parts for the racer and now I can’t ride it enough. I want to borrow my friends bikes just so I can get these guys to sort them out!

Amazing job!!! They brought back my old rusty bike to life. It needed so much to be done, but with the platinum service, the bike was rideable within a couple days. I was really amazed with the new look of the gear hub, which was really rusty. When I collected my bike, it looked brand spanking new, unrecognisable and I was even surprised when I told it was the same one. They also adviced on the esthetic as I wanted to keep that retro look. They managed to find a brown saddle and brown grips, of excellent quality, which enhance the look of the bike. Needless to say, I was very happy with the service provided. My Cube 29er mountain bike required resuscitation as it had developed lots of faults after riding in muddy and rough terrain on the hills of Durham. I was aware that it needed replacement of the stretched chain, cassette and chainrings. The bike rides like new! I'd forgotten what it felt like! The guys are always friendly and very knowledgeable. My bike's chain came off and got stuck when I was miles from home. This was the nearest bike shop. They did some disassembly, replaced the chain, put things back, adjusted the gears all while I had a coffee across the road at Costa. Very happy.
