Absolutely the best place to bring your bicycle. They specialist on cargo bicycle but they also helped me with my single speed. I really appreciate the help, staff was really friendly, organised and passionate about their job, best place to go. Excellent service and fair prices They also let you pump your tyres for free.

Sam, Julian, and Roman got me kitted out with a e-cargo bike rental for my 5 year old and I, making sure that we had helmets, a separate chain lock, as well as a phone mount. They did everything I'd hoped for and more. I can't sing their praises high enough. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I would.

Probably one of the best bike shops for cargo bikes in London (if not the best for advice and knowledge). We bought our cargo bike from them with no regrets. Decent after service too - you get a service within the first couple months to fine tune your bike. Very helpful and responds to emails in a decent time. You can even rent a bike to try it out. The shop gets 5 stars for being knowledgeable in the main area they deal in - cargo and freight bikes. I can recommend this shop.

I dropped by today to enquire about a quick fix of my second-hand bike bought elsewhere (gear cable snapped). Sam was very kind to provide a temporary fix for free until I can book a service later. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely book my next service there.

I am an avid cyclist and own a box bike and simply could not survive without this shop. I have been going to London Green Cycles since it opened and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and take the time to answer any questions I have. They sell good-quality products and have a high standard of bike maintenance. I regularly take my box bike in for maintenance and when they are done, it rides like new. I strongly recommend this shop to anyone with a box bike or otherwise.

Very knowledgable, welcoming, easy, helpful, efficient. Wide range of cargo bike stock and accessories- like no other shop we tried for this type of bike. Alex really knew his stuff and took the time to show me the various models. You can even ride before you buy as they have plenty of models for hire- this was really useful. Tried the bike Tues, called up to buy Weds, ready to collect midday Thurs having been serviced and set up. Still early days with the bike but with a free service in 4-6 weeks we do t envisage any problems!

My partner and I hired a Christiania Bike from this shop. We spent a couple of hours riding in and around Regents Park. It was a great afternoon out and had we not been pressed for time, we'd have cycled further afield. The service in the shop was excellent and hiring the bike was a useful option before buying one. It's an unusual product and hard, sometimes, to know exactly what we want. Thanks to the great service from a well informed team, we know have the information we need. Whether you're planning to buy or simply renting for a day out, this shop is a great place to go. Easy to find, good value and very helpful!

I took my bike into the shop last Friday for a Full service having walked out of a another shop in Camden for being ripped off. LGC took the bike in and did all the work for a fraction of the cost (£250 cheaper) and the bike was ready the same day, would totally recommend these guys, thanks for putting me back on the road :)

Great service! I got my Christiania from LGC for my business and it’s been serving me very well. I use it for work and living on a canal boat for my everyday use. The staff is very friendly and I can’t recommend LGC more. They are the people who can help you completely switch to bike in your everyday life and make it work and it is an amazing experience. Roman and the team at London Green Cycles sold us a Babboe Curve E. We have 4 kids. The eldest is 5, the youngest 2 months. The kids LOVE the bike. LGC spent the time to talk us through all the different bike models and sensibly advised on which would be best for us. They did not try and up-sell and they worked hard to deliver the bike to the timescale we asked for (which was quick). Their after sales support has been excellent. We have found them to be hard working, responsive and trust worthy.

For family bikes, this place is superb. Having been to a few places in London to seek out the right bike to cart our kids around in, LGC is the best. They know their stuff, and very easy to test ride from their wide range of bikes. They even have a stack of books, a box of chalk and blackboard to keep the monkeys occupied!

Who wants to sit breathing in pollution in London's traffic? With a cargo bike, you get safety, 24-hour mobility, zero carbon emission – and freedom. Roman Magula and his team will let you try out the bikes, tell you all you need to know about safety and control, and advise you on accessories and customization. Cargo bikes are perfect to ferry children (or animals), act as your pop-up business premises, handle deliveries, transport shopping or large purchases, and act as your own personal taxi whenever you need it. The build quality of cargo bikes is exceptional so they are relatively expensive. But with care they'll last a lifetime – and you don't have the expense of private or public transport. And if later on you find you want to change models, their resale value is high, and London Green Cycles will be happy to sell on a bike for you. Crucial for me, since I wear office clothes as I ride off to meetings and do not want either to get oil all over me or have to mend a puncture, they're also low maintenance with a free 6-week check after purchase. You're getting your money's worth and more. If you're below average height as I am, the bike frame can be modified and the saddle post lowered to suit your leg length. You could call it total dedication to excellence. And best of all, when you ride you're sitting astride a stable isosceles triangle (the base with two wheels at the front and the vertex with one wheel behind) so you don't have to worry about balancing either yourself or the bike. You have a superb view of the road, you're very visible, and you can actually enjoy the ride. And I can tell you, from the saddle of a cargo bike, London really is the most beautiful of cities.

I have come here many times for smaller fixes, and they have always done it on the spot in a very friendly and competent manner, and sometimes just for a fiver or a tenner. But really for any kind of repairs I would highly recommend this place.
