Brought my 1-year+ Brompton for a full service a few days ago after making an appointment by email. Response and turn-around were very fast. Best bicycle service I ever had (lifelong bicycle user), my bicycle rides better than ever before. You see and feel immediately that you're dealing with a professional that knows the Brompton inside-out. Worn parts are replaced but no attempt at doing more than needed. Very professional and friendly. 100% satisfied.

Just went there earlier today to enquire about an issue with my Mini-bike's dodgy shifting.... Was greeted by a nice man who said he was super busy and wouldnt get a chance to help but instead took a look at the issue right there on the spot to problem solve and advise me that he was unfamiliar with a custom component on the bike, but was still able to suss out one thing that may be causing the issue. I respect that. An example of an independent bike shops going out of their way to help a customer. He could have left it at "sorry I don't know" and tell me to go elsewhere, but at least he put in the effort and helped me get a step closer to the route of the problem.

Took my 18yr old Brompton to Phoenix Cycles for a refurb, frame and handle bars in excellent condition. Had new wheels plus 6 speed hub fitted, new chain, seat sleeve replacement, new mudgusrds. After all this work when bike was collected it looked brand new, excellent service.

Bought my first Brompton over 12 years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else for servicing, repairs, accessories.... I like to support a small independent but the main reasons are: expertise (absolute Brompton experts!), prompt and personal service, bike service within day (drop off am, pick up pm), repairs - phoned them and they always fit me in and if poss fix on the spot, reasonable prices, no nonsense good quality accessories. Have recommended countless times. Keep up the good work! (5 months later) Just been to Phoenix again for a small repair. Passionate about what they do! I have been to a number of shops in Central London but it was very refreshing to receive the first class service that I did here. I'm a long time Brompton rider and Phoenix Cycles really is the place to go if you need anything doing to yours. The owner is clearly very passionate about this bike and his staff really know their stuff. When I was in the shop another customer mentioned that he travels down from Birmingham whenever his Brompton needs servicing. I can't recommend this shop highly enough; if you want a safe pair of hands to care for your Brompton this is the place to go.

Great friendly service! We took our Bromptons in today following the recall. I thought I needed an extended seat pole and instead of charging me the £25 it would have cost me, they measured me up and extended my seat for free. Thank you! : )

Mike specialises in the Brompton and you will get an individual and detailed service - nothing like the big chains and their slapdash work. Not for nothing is it labelled as a 'Premier Store' - I won't be taking my bike anywhere else .

Today I bought a lock from thisbycicle, After buying the lock I realised that my girl friend bought me one the day before. I live around Battersea so I went straight back and asked if i was able to give back the lock as shops are not forced to accept returns if the item is not faulty (especially small shops). The owner was worried that the lock wasn't working properly but after explaining he gave me straight back my cash. I was expecting a voucher to spend in his shop but he was happy to give me back the money, and I appreciated as I didn't really need to buy anything for my bike.
