Brilliant. What a lovely guy and decent. Glad to have found him. Very reasonably priced and knowledgable. Helpful as well. Honest about cost and parts. He is upfront about what parts will need replacing. I had a problem with my gears - he fixed it all very quickly and efficiently and gave my bike the once over. Awesome service - very much recommend him.

I booked my bike in for a gold service because it hadn't been serviced in a really long time & I wanted to get it winter ready. I was really delighted with the service (quality + timing) and especially getting feedback that I didn't need a full Gold service so ended up paying less than expected. Also very happy to have gotten help with replacing my broken bike seat as an add on to the service. Still cycling a few months later and impressed with the results. Thankyou so much & will definitely be back when bike needs it again!

Highly recommend this great, local service to keep your bike on the road. Nathan is friendly, honest and up front about what work your bike really needs, and what will help. We have been to Spoke Shed several times with my bike, and my girls' bikes, and have always been very happy.

I've just tried out Nathan after he was recommended to me by serious bike enthusiasts I know. I booked his 'Gold' service because there were all sorts of things wrong with the bike but he told me that he thought the silver would do...honesty! All his explanations were clear and thorough and now a few days later (time for him to order in a couple of things), my bike is purring like a Rolls. Excellent service. Is he the best kept cycle secret in E London , I wonder.

Nathan is excellent - exactly what you want from a local artisan. Booked a 'silver service' but he said it only needed a 'bronze' (I'm used to upselling, not the reverse!). First mechanic to actually bother explaining to me why my hybrid bike was a mongrel that would nonetheless very likely continue to work well. And despite how busy he is, was really good about it when I had to postpone my booking last minute as my girlfriend had locked her bike to mine! Another Forest Gate gem.

I had two children's bikes serviced here. Really good service, polite, friendly. Gave some good advice on how best to maintain the bikes after the service as well. Business is being run from his own back garden so worth making sure you have the phone number just in case you can't find it. Really good to see someone making a go of it on their own. Hopefully the business will thrive and would easily recommend the spoke shed over the chain bike shops.

Thanks for the service provided. I had my foldable bike repaired and serviced here after so many years of not using them. Nathan was kind enough to explain what’s changed and provided some tips on the bike. I took the bike and cycled whole day and loving the cycle.
