True cyclist will knows what a nightmare it is when something happens to your bike, it’s like loosing your phone, one feels completely lost. My shifter snapped in half, breaks gone, gears damaged, chain twisted, mudguards ruined - Evans Cycle “did you make appointment” Nip Nip Bike making excuses to fix my bike. Then I found The London Bicycle Repair Shop - no waiting time, polite, smooth, easy and I had my bike back less then 24h - you guys made my year, literally ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Right so where to start.. when I went to this store I did see the reviews of many stating it being positive and an amazing repair store, they was all right. They go the extra mile when it goes to repairs and customer service. They actually care about clients and put effort into their work to provide the best experience possible. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone wanting to have simple, hassle free communication with repairs. Get something fixed. The owner of the store is really nice even and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the biking industry, of course as a bike repair owner you would expect that but the amount of knowledge they have in insight it's really the best place to go. The experience beyond was remarkable. No negatives to speak about at all, the store location it self near the heart of London with several ways to travel. Pretty much only repair store I'll ever use in London, no others can beat it 👍

These guys are so friendly and offer great advice. I brought my bike there after been hit by a car. My original front specialized wheel couldn't be fixed, but they gave me different options, and got me the best replacement for it. Very reasonable labour prices as well. I'll be going to this shop from now on for anything I need.

Great little bike shop where they changed my inner tube after a flat and checked and sorted one of my brakes, for 15 pounds. I had done something stupid (forgotten I'd had my tires changed to rigid tires, so while the tires appeared pumped, they weren't) and they didn't make fun of me, they very professionally explained that the tubes weren't pumped and showed me how the tubes rubbed against the rigid tires and chafed and ripped. Took my old bike to London Bicycle Repair shop on an evening close to closing time, they were very helpful, heard my suggestions of what I thought it needed repairing, told me they needed to examine it and will provide me with an estimate of costs, if I agree they would go ahead with fixes and I could collect after, left the bike with them, on the very next morning as promised they sent the estimate via email, costs were very good value, so I agree. (Other shops have told me the repairs will take a week or so to complete) - with the London Bicycle repair shop, that very same evening of receiving the estimate all repairs were done - everything I had asked them to change/looked at, they did!! Totally recommend them, they were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Will take my bike there should i need repairs!.

I honestly can not rate this place highly enough. I’ve had a lot of bikes and used a lot of bike shops in London and this is easily the best. Firstly, I know NOTHING about bikes or anything technical. The guy here always explains everything so clearly, in plain English and I don’t feel patronised at all. I also can tell he’s not taking advantage of my lack of knowledge to charge me more than he needs to. He’s clearly straightforward and honest and I trust what he’s telling me. Recently I needed some really specific parts that were virtually impossible to get due to supply chain issues. He spent the time - with no expectation of business for himself - to talk me through the issue, told me what to try and order and, when I couldn’t get one of the parts, spent a lot of time and effort customising a more generic part to fit the bike. All the while explaining clearly to me what he was doing at a super reasonable price. So a big thank you from me. And I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend for anyone else looking gif a bike repair shop.

One of the great things about this bike shop is that you don't need to book in advance; you can just drop by in the morning and get your bike back later that day. I don't normally write reviews but this place warrants one. I came in for a basic service. I wanted a few things replaced/installed as well as a general check of what might be broken. After a brief 5 min chat, the mechanic booked me in. Their email/online system was pretty good for keeping me informed as to what replacements parts were necessary and whether I wanted to approve them. I'm used to going to big chains like Evan's and Cycle Surgery (when they were around) where bookings are made days/weeks in advance and communication is pretty challenging at the best of times. This shop was a great improvement on both fronts. I'll definitely be returning and will be recommending this place to friends.

I'm so happy to have discovered the London Bicycle Repair Shop, when the rear wheel rim of my Brompton gave out on the way to work at Waterloo. Emil was knowledgeable, helpful with sound advice on some other necessary repairs. I'd feared my bike might be our of action for a while, but I got the quote within 12 hours, parts were ordered received and repairs completed within 6 days. Amazing! And informative updates at every stage. As other reviews have highlighted, this business provides excellent value for money. Their labour costs are very modest, in my experience. These guys at London Bicycle Repair shop are not only incredible in terms of knowledge of bike but they break it down for you, and ensure that communication on parts is always up front. I had issue with my rear wheel and Emil proposed numerous potential solutions for the Cinelli before we had to replace the wheel entirely. This shop gives the best service of any bike shop I have ever been to, at a reasonable price. They completed all the work that I asked for and more including reducing the length of my chain that had been fitted by an inferior bike shop. Now my gears work perfectly and the chain does not come off. They even eradicated the mysterious click that had been annoying me. If heaven was a bike shop then this would be Nirvana.

I have never written a review but I would like to express the quality of service and generosity of the owner. He checked my secondhand bike yesterday and noted that the condition of the bike was not safe to cycle and had many issues. He sent me an invoice which is very fairly priced but I had to discuss with my partner whether he would like to fix the bike. However, the owner went on further mile to tighten the front front thru axle as it was unsafe for me to even ride the bike home. He did it out of own interest and asked for no remuneration as he did fix anything. I was deeply touched and would highly recommend this shop. He truly cares for your safety and your bike. I took my bike in for a full service as it was creaking a bit after a year of commuting and they restored it to like new condition in a day! the work was excellent and they were upfront about extra costs for small parts. The guys are very friendly and honest, unlike some of the big chain stores. They've even lent me tire levers and a pump so I can change an inner tube on the spot a couple of times, as well as last time they removed all the glass from my tires for me! When I had another issue with my wheel this was the only place I considered going, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I've used this repair shop a few times, both with a modern and an old classic bike. The staff are so knowledgeable, they typically identify the issue within seconds and fix either immediately or same day when they can. Very polite and friendly. They'll also ask first, before carrying out pricey repairs, which I think should be a standard anyway, though so many other places do not do this. I definitely recommend this shop.

The only bike shop in London that I trust. On a couple of occasions, I've handed my bike in to random bike repair shops for repairs (things like replacing a tire, changing a tube, changing a chain etc...). At every other bike repair shop, my bike is always returned with a niggly problem (i.e. gears don't change smoothly or correctly, wheel wasn't tightened properly, chain keeps coming off etc...). Professionals available and a keen to fix the problems. I had a noise coming from my bike and we couldn't understand the reason. The guy at the shop was patient and checked one thing after the next one. In the end was enough some lubricant just where the pipe of my saddle insert. A stupid thing that in other shops apparently could require a £60 maintance on a almost brand new bike! The guy didn't want 1 penny! I'll go back there everytime I'll need, maintance included! :)

I’ve been taking my bikes here for a service for a good few years now and highly recommend them. Today, I took a bike that I had purchased mail order that had a fault with its carbon belt drive. They diagnosed the issue straight away and then handed it back to me fixed a couple of hours later. All for free. I took my seriously neglected bike to the guys at The LBRS, they were extremely friendly and informative when explaining what the multiple problems were. Then providing solutions to the given issues. After leaving my bike with them they quickly got back to me with a detailed estimate of the cost of all the repairs, giving me options for cheaper items if I needed to keep the costs down. They carried out all the necessary repairs speedily and got back to me when the bike was ready for collection. The bike looks great now, they did a very thorough job of cleaning and fixing all the complications. These people know what they are doing! There are few shops in London which can deal with non-sporty bikes, and this one is going to be my choice from now on. They are fairly priced and don't make you wait ages until they fix your bike. Another shop first quoted me about twice as much as them, then asked me to wait for a week and then told me they couldn't repair it as they didn't have the correct gauge of spokes - all that to rebuild a wheel. This shop did it in a day, had all the necessary things in stock, so no waiting. Awesome!

I took my old Reynold 513 frame in here several years ago as I had stripped the threads in the bottom bracket. I had tried all the other shops who told me it wasn't fixable and to buy a new bike. I found the London bicycle shop one day when I was on my lunch break and asked them it they might take a look at my bike and see if it was fixable. They looked at it and told me they could insert a bottom bracket cassette and it would be as good as new. Right enough a week later when I returned they had assembled all the parts and my bike was as good as new and I have been cycling 20 km a day back and forth to work ever since. Thanks to all the good mechanics at this great little independent shop.

They did the work they said they would for the almost the price they said they would do it. Only surprise on the bill was an extra brake cable which was required (apparently) for the wider rim of the new wheel they fitted. The wheel was their choice though and the only option they had for me so maybe they should have swallowed that cost. As a test I left my handlebars of adjustable angle loose. They neither tightened them nor warned me to do it myself. They worked around the handlebars so must have noticed the safety issue. So they worked strictly to specification and made not one bit of extra effort. Fair enough but don't expect repeat custom outside of being the nearest bike shop in an emergency.

I went to many shops (Not This one) and markets (Yes brick lane) got conflicting, and bad advice at every one. Enter the London Bike shop: Didn't suggest the most expensive remedy to the problems, helped me fixed my bike (Sold me parts and I went and did it myself) and when I couldn't do it (Many things have gone wrong with this bike) They fixed it for a fair price and in record time. Couldn't recommend them more, and for any one like me who knows nothing about bikes, you won't get f***ed. The London bike industry is horrendous, full of lying cheating crooks - Except this place.
