O. M.Winston couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble, he was able to repair a rear hanger and put in two track ends to get me back on the road. I great service and what was a very reasonable price. Please use these guys instead of going to chain bike store!
C. M.Awesome service, took a steel frame to Varonha this morning to align a dodgy rear stay alignment and Winston was super knowledgeable, identified the (many) problems with the frame and sorted the issue for a reasonable price, in no time.
Would recommend them for steel frame repairs/additions and his brother sprays frames upstairs if required as well!
A. L.I was looking for a frame builder/repairer that could repair the downtube shifter bosses on my Reynolds 653 tubing. Not many businesses offer that service particularly as a 'while you wait'. Winston advised me over the phone re: preparing the bike frame and followed up on my questions. Just had the work done today. After seeing the lovely frame paint jobs in the workshop, Winston directed me to a nice cafe, I got a coffee and did some emails in the local park until Winston rang within the hour. A great job was done and amazingly Winston managed to preserve the decals close to the brazing site and also touched up the brazing site with some paint as well as tapping the thread into the shifter bosses. Tremendous value!! I am really pleased and I am looking forward to getting the bike back on the road.
M. K.Winston saved my bike! Last week I bent my gear hanger and most bike shops wouldn't dare to touch it in fear of braking my frame. I took it to Varonha because they specialise in steel frame bikes, Winston was able to fix my gear hanger in about an hour and i had my bike back for an affordable price. The guys were very knowledgeable and very friendly!

T. M.I called Winston about my dodgy forks first thing, popped over to the his workshop in hither green and my whole frame checked over and my forks all fixed before midday. Winston is hugely knowledgeable. He patiently talked me through the details of what was going on with the fork and gave me a lot of reassurance about the frame itself. Mario's paint shop upstairs is also a site to behold: a beautiful array of crazy colours and vintage bicycles. Highly recommended :)

L. T.Got in touch with Winston for a quick-and-dirty structural repair of a cargo bike tube that had rusted through and cracked. He was helpful and honest about the work that needed to be done, and charged a very fair price. He seems to prefer telephone contact and bikes dropped off in-person.
As it was a small job, we arranged for a day when he could carry out the work as I waited. I'm very happy with the prompt service I received, and even made it to work on time afterwards!

The craftsmanship was excellent and Winston was very accommodating - he even met me on a Sunday in an Aldi parking lot to pick up my bike! A. B.Winston is an absolute legend and a master of his trade. I took a vintage frame to him which I wanted some modernising done to in order to run it with modern groupset etc. He added bottle bosses, gear lever bosses, widened the rear spacing to 130mm and changed the lugged bottom bracket. Initially Winston told me it would take a few weeks, much to my amazement he had it turned around in one week! Cracking workmanship and very reasonable pricing. I'll never hesitate to take other projects to him!

D. B.Fixed up a broken brakeholder (Brake boss). As it was an almost classic long distance trekking bike, a new front fork would've been near impossible to get. Winston could've easily ripped me off if he wanted to, but did the opposite: High quality work at a great rate and painted it afterwards to prevent rust.
I also want to praise his flexibility: I only had two days I could do for drop-off and pick-up as it is a bit further away. He was ok with me dropping off the bike at his house and bring it into the workshop himself. I think that is awesome.
Also worth noting that Varonha is willing to do small repairs where most framebuilders aim at large, high value orders.
