Brought a Giant Talon from Woodford cycles. Due to covid it understandably took a few months, but Andy kept me informed all along. When bike arrived it was set up and ready to go, and have a complimentary check in a few weeks to ensure all good.
Friendly service, Recommended!

What a lovely guy! My wife had a service performed here and also had some new brakes and mudguards put on. A minor gear glitch occurred now that the cables are all settled in and he happily tweaked the system for us to fix it up all for no charge. This is proper service. Thank you!

Since purchasing my GIANT ESCAPE HYBRID BIKE just under a year ago, the WCC have been spot on!
A couple of weeks ago I was unfortunate to come off my bike and something wasn’t right. I took it into Andy who is the gentleman who owns the place and who sold me the bike. He’s really passionate about his business and provides a very friendly and personal service. Even though he was supposed to have shut for the end of the day, he made the time to help me with my bike, put me at ease and check everything was safe to make sure I was back on the road…all for the cost of nothing! He also remembered my name which meant a lot to me, considering the mass of people he sees come and go on a daily basis.
If you’re looking at getting a bike or looking for parts, servicing etc. and you live local, please consider taking your business to Andy at the WCC and supporting your local bike shop.

Great shop, got what I needed. Great service from the gentleman. Looking forward to going back to collect more parts for my bike 😁

This is a wonderfully run shop. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They assembled my Giant Defy Advance 1 and also did a service. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them.

I went to this shop as I thought my bike needed a service and another shop had suggested my bike might just need replacing as it’s quite old. Andy very quickly assured me that my issue wasn’t serious, tightened and adjusted a couple of things, even rode it down the road to make sure everything was working ok. All done in less than 10 minutes. Great service!

Could not recommend more highly. High quality work and friendly service at a very reasonable price.
My bike needed a new inner tube for the back wheel due to a puncture and the work was done within half an hour. The guy working here is great. He offered really sound advice about how to look after my bike and even did the odd bits for me (because I'm a novice) and clearly cares a great deal about his customers.
I looked at some reviews before I went and was dubious about pricing as I'd seen someone say it was really expensive - however it couldn't have been further from the truth! If you're concerned about price, call up before hand and get a quote, which is what I did, and I got a great deal.
If you're looking for a cycle shop which is fair on price and offers friendly, quality service - this is your place.

Very good service and Very experienced owner. Always in store by himself and hands on. Prices matching quality. Saw reviews where people complains about store being expensive. I disagree. Store sells premium quality parts and equipment what means price will be higher. You get what you pay for. If you are serious about your current or future bicycle - definitely RECCOMENDED. For me as local - best place to buy

Top Man!
Went in to get some advice on a new purchase as trying to get back into cycling, shop owner was very helpful and offered plenty of assistance without being pushy. Unfortunately they didn't have the bike in my size but highly recommend the store. Many thanks

had a puncture on back tyre, since we are in lockdown , i was worried no one would be around. This gentleman and his wife were both so welcoming and fixed my bike in no time. Thank you for keeping it for a week

Really, really, really impressed with Woodford Cycle Centre. What they lack in range, they more than make up for in service and discounts and building customer loyalty.
Big believer in only being loyal to those who are worth it and not supporting local just because they're local, if they're miserable with it at the same time. The internet has changed things and while everything can be sourced cheaper online, what I've found with Andy at WCC is that he's genuinely interested in looking after you and doesn't sweat every penny, that sort of attitude makes me reciprocate, and I'm the type to use cashback websites to get the best deal and pretty much shop online for 90% of evverything I buy.
I will however default to putting as much as I can WCC's way as they're an invaluable resource EVERY locality needs. Completely impartial advice, not loaded to take you for every penny right here, right now but to build a trusting relationship to the point where I now only feel comfortable taking my bike to them for repair and not even needing a second opinion or a competing/comparison quote.
Just got my bike back today having smashed the derailleur, the hanger, the rear mechanism, bent the chain and needed a new cassette too. Friends have spent £270 and more on the same thing, I got it for l much less than £200 and he threw in a a WCC jersy and a bottle I needed.
Bought both my kid's bikes from there and won't go elsewhere, you really shouldn't either if you're around (South) Woodford, Wanstead, Clayhall, Buckhurst Hill etc.

Great customer service and a good selection of high quality, reasonably priced bikes.

Small shop with friendly helpful service. They specialise in Giant brand bikes and have a great range for beginners or advanced cyclists. They offer advice without being pushy on sales. It's the kind of service you won't get at Halfords, which is why you should support local bike shops.

This guy is so helpful! I called him with an issue on my bike which I hadn’t even bought there and he has gone out of his way to help. Thank you so much!

Really impress with the customer service and work of this place.Needed to change my rim on my back wheel as it was severely damaged.Went to a couple bike shops that day and all where booked up,with a wait of 1 to 2 weeks.Understandable, with alot of demand as alot more people are taking up riding.Andy was also booked up but still managed to attended to my needs the following day.He could have easily said the same.Good price and good advice.I will definitely continue servicing my bike here in the future and also recommend others to do so as well.

I was nervous to go in since sometimes smaller businesses have higher prices. I have to say I was extremely impressed with not only the price, but also the service. I walked away with exactly what I needed, at a better price than I'd found elsewhere, and received some great advice. I'll be back for everything from now on!
