Can’t recommend Bike4Health enough. My bike feels so much better after a service from them than when I bought it new from Halfords and after the free first service from Halfords. Very fair price, very friendly and helpful with any questions around set up, maintenance ect. Will be back in 6-12 months to get my bike checked again depending on how much riding I get done!

Fantastic service all round. They picked up and dropped off my bike at my work place exactly when they said they would, which was worth every penny of the £10 charge for this service. They kept me updated with all the work and associated costs, which were all very reasonable, and they did a really good job on my bike. The mechanics are all polite, helpful, professional and efficient, and I would definitely recommend them. In a time when great service is increasingly rare, they really stand out, and deserve our support 👏

Genuinely one of the best businesses I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The mechanic who has worked on my bike recently (Lucas) is extremely knowledgeable, patient, hard working and trustworthy. I really like the fact that I can drop my bike off, get it back in no time at all in better than new condition with absolute peace of mind that it's performing as expected. I won't take my bike anywhere else and I really wish every business was this good!

I came across Bike4Health whilst taking a detour to head home as my gears were in need of attention so decided to pop in expecting to have to make an appointment. I was warmly welcomed by Artur and much to my surprise he indexed my gears straight away and the job was done in less than 10 minutes. This establishment has since become the only place I will trust completely with my bike. Artur has completely transformed my bike, it is now running 100% better than when first purchased. I have also had work carried out by other members of the team and believe me these guys really know bikes inside out. They really do live up to their ethos of making cycling a part of everyday life for people across the North East. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for these guys and there are no surprises when it comes to the cost of repairs as the bike is assessed on arrival and you are given a run down of the costs involved. If something unexpected is found an email is sent for your approval before the work goes ahead. I have referred a number of friends here and they also have nothing but praise for the whole team and the work they've had done. Thank you Bike4Health 👍

I recently visited Bike4health for a training session where I received guidance on fitting some upgrades to my bike. Everyone was very welcoming and took the time to come over and take an interest in the build. Dan was friendly, knowledgable and I went away knowing a lot more than I did at the start of the session. Booked in a full service several weeks ago. Excellent service from these guys, I was in need to get my brakes sorted for Sunday and no one could help and waiting lists are til August. I came across Bikes4health and give them a ring and they couldn't of been more helpful to me. They got me book in next day couple of hours and it was sorted even give my bike a once over sorted my wobbly headset. I really can't recommend these enough. Amazing service and are very polite. Rates are reasonable and they treat customers very adequately. I had a small problem with my brand new Cube Mtb bike gears shifting after I messed up with gear tuning (being curious). They immediately sorted it out. They are now expanding the shop and have first floor built for new items. I will get my bike first serviced from here definitely.

I've never come across a place quite like this. My bike had a full service and feels like new. The staff are great and the customer service is exemplary. They let you know what's being worked on either via hubtiger or by phone. On collection they talked me through every detail of the service and gave excellent maintenance advice to keep my bike working at its best.

Consummate professionals, honest to a man in the requirements of servicing, new parts, etc. and top class quality of work every single time. Attention to detail, knowledge of parts, systems and bikes in general inspires confidence and you know your bike will be right after they’ve worked on it. Second time I have used this place and is categorically the only place I will ever bring my bike to. Honest, friendly, professional and above all Jedi masters in cycle repair. Service and work today has given me back a bike that looks like an episode of stars in their eyes, it went it looking shabby and performing terribly and came out the smoke - dancing like Michael Jackson and singing like George Michael. I won’t name the other places I have tried before, however I will name this in the top one in the north east. Keep up the brilliant work and big mention to Tony Stark AKA lucaz. Absolute craftsman. The app they use so you can track repairs, communicate and see invoices, bike performance etc is mind boggling. Would trust this shop with my life. Which is essentially what you are doing. I have just been to the best cycle engineers in my opinion ever.I purchased a Boardman electric bike from Halfords in November,the bike is great but there were issues that they were unable to solve.Bike4Health ClC in Newcastle have just made my bike incredible.The 240 mile round trip as been we worth it . The diagnostic investigation was incredibly through and they were able to readjust the sensitivity of the electronics so I could ride with my winter gloves on and still be able to change the power band.The diagnostic investigation was incredibly value for money and I am going to do the 240 round trip when the bike is due for service

I had my bike collected from the door. It was assessed and I was told in detail the issues with the bike that needed fixed. It was all explained to me (the bike novice) why it needed replaced etc and the work was done to a high standard before the bike was brought back to my door. They even a manged to fix my rear wheel which initially was needing replaced at a cost however by fixing this meant it wasn't as much. Great communication throughout and the bike runs great. Took turbo trainer in to have 10 speed cassette fitted. Artur worked on it straight away, showed me what he was doing and why. Gave me lots of tips on how to tweak gears when swapping from TT to bike. Also ensured my TT was set up correctly and running smoothly. Mariusz is an all round legend. He is incredibly thorough with the bike maintenance. Goes above and beyond to provide an excellent service. He is attentive to detail. As an example most of my bikes are Campagnolo and some previous shops i used to take my bikes to would often come back with the brakes not adjusted with the quick release pin in place. This chap has never once failed to have this adjusted just so. it's a little thing, but to me it indicates how much he keeps his eye on detail. can't recommend them enough. Thank you

Had a rear hub service on a wobbly wheel, also asked them to install a cassette and chain while they had it. All of this was requested on the day (a Saturday), without booking because I'm cheeky and they couldn't have been more accommodating. They said they'd try sorting it on the day, but I didn't really expect them to on such short notice. Got a call on the Monday saying it would be worth sorting out the headset as it was stiff and replace the brake pads. I agreed to get those things sorted as it was something I'd been putting off for ages. Bike was ready to pick up that afternoon! Everything was explained to me, including what I was being charged for and why.Thanks to Dan and the team for sorting this all for me and being honest and informative in the process! All for a reasonable price, too! Would definitely recommend and will likely be back if I need any help :D
