Andy has just serviced my E-bike for me. He doesn't touch the electronics side, but I've had a new rear sprocket fitted, a new chain, the crank has been fully serviced, and I've had new disc pads fitted. It rides like new. I am delighted ! Try to book in well in advance as, because he is good, he is also very busy ! My bike was returned to me within 4 hours, and I was able to pay by BACS. Great price for such professional service too. BTW - There's a Beryl Bay round the corner, so v.handy for getting home !!

Professional service. The full servicing of my bike took only a few hours despite Andy having his schedule filled up. Got my brakes, cables, and the cassette replaced and fixed. Some parts were in worse shape than expected and Andy replaced them with some spare ones he had in his shop - no charge. The bike definitely rides better now.

Andy rebuilt my Nigel Dean bike many years ago. When it needed work doing there was only one place to take it. I asked Andy to fix what was needed and give it an overhaul. This is the first mechanical work in probably 16 years. Gear and brake cables replaced, cassette replaced, new chain, rear hub rebuilt and headset rebuilt. It's as good as new can't wait to get out again. Extremely pleased with the work done and at a very fair price. I would recommend Andy at AP Cycles for any work needed on your bike

I recently bought an electric bike from eBay that was partially assembled. My partner was able to put the rest of the bike together but it still needed a few tweaks with the gears and brakes. I struggled to get someone to take a look at it as it was electric and not bought from the shops I had asked until I took it to AP Cycles. Andy was more than happy to help and made the necessary adjustments there and then at a reasonable price. I am a first time rider and was worrying about getting this sorted. Despite being rushed off his feet, Andy recognised a quick job for what it was and carried out a repair on my bike the day after I contacted him when other workshops were talking about 2-3 weeks + to even look at it. I would SO recommend this place. I had a problem with my bike while cycling past and so turned up unannounced. The owner said he was super-busy and was booked up for the next 2 months with work. However he dropped everything he was doing there and then and took my bike in and fixed the problem straight away (in just 2 mins). It was so helpful as I was unable to cycle my bike without his help. Will certainly be using this shop again in the future.

Took my bike in with a twisted chain. Andy sorted it out immediately, but noticed other things that needed sorting, including tracking and brake cables. Which he did equally efficiently. He's always willing to stop whatever he's doing and have a look at your bike. Fast, friendly and not expensive, strongly recommended.

Andy is a really top bloke and incredibly knowledgable! Managed to quickly and efficiently diagnose and fix the problem with no hassle at all. He managed to fit me into his very busy schedule (there's a reason he's busy!), which I really appreciate! I won't hesitate to come back for the quality service! Many thanks again!

I admit I was a bit put off by the tiny store at first, but I am really glad I chose A.P Cycles to get my MTB serviced (a lot of things broken, worn-off -- I am a pig when cycling). After being let down by one of the bigger chains in Norwich, it took me a while to research a suitable workshop to get this done. I was amazed by Andy: the store filled to the brim with bicycles and he still gave me an appointment only two days later. The work was finished literally within a couple hours, including putting in some thought into how to fit available parts to my bike-riding behaviour. This is some kind of service I haven't had in a long, long time. A++ for amazing!

I’ve recently taken my bike to A.P. Cycles for repair. The service received from Andy was absolutely fantastic and I can’t recommend A.P. Cycles enough! I found Andy to be extremely knowledgeable and his advice about my bike was really appreciated. His knowledge was not restricted to just my type of bike because he has years of experience as he was the technician at Specialised Cycles in Norwich on Connaught Road. Having collected my bike I was really happy with the work done by Andy and my bike feels much better given the work that he did. Given my experience I won’t hesitate to return to use A.P. Cycles again and I’d definitely recommend it to others.

I've tried about 5 different bike shops in Norwich, all have charged too much, tried to sell me work that wasn't essential, or taken an age to complete work. This place is totally different. I know a bit about bikes, so I know when someone is trying to BS me over what needs doing and how much it costs. I have used AP 3-4 times now, each time has been A+. Andy has been sorting out my Brompton and my wife's Dawes tourer for years (both here and at Specialized Cycles round the corner on Connaught where he was the bike mechanic before it closed) and is first class and friendly with it.
