Newly opened store, loads of options, lots of discounts. one stop shop for all your needs of going outdoors for adventure. Very impressed. Wish there was someone at the counter all the time for a quicker payments.

My father and I went in here to buy a backpack and two pairs of hiking boots for a trip to the lakes as both of our previous pairs of boots were no longer suitable. We were assisted by Kieran through the whole process of trying on and choosing the right pair of boots - he was happy to help and extremely knowledgeable on how to size our shoes properly. The range of backpacks was fantastic and we found one perfect for our needs. Overall a lot of our gear needed replacing, and the staff were wonderful, with the perfect products to allow us to do that.

We visited today to buy a large 6 person tent. The one we wanted was out of stock. We asked a very helpful young man called Ed. He went above and beyond to help us. We bought the tent and extras. Every store needs an Ed !!! The store is well stocked with everything you need for camping. Lots of clothing too Certainly worth visiting and lots of parking space outside.

Such a huge range of items on offer, we managed to get the clips we wanted which was great. They also have a customer toilet which was very handy for the size of shop. Lots of climbing equipment, plenty of shoes and tents, horse items, any thing you could want for outdoors they have.

I had been to the old Go Outdoors store a few years back and found the stock to be a limited selection of what is on the website, having found this I thought I would try click and collect. This proved to be a complete minefield with poor communication between Go Outdoors HQ, it's stores and customers. I had to wait 14 days, to find that my full order had actually arrived but had been hidden by a recent stock check rearranging in the store. I do not fault the staff working at the Norwich store, they work hard and have a good knowledge of their store. I would like to place praise on the efforts of Steph, she assisted me in sorting out the mess that was the click and collect service, and went out of her way to make sure I left the store with what I had originally ordered online.

I needed a waterproof jacket. As Go Outdoors is 30 miles away I looked in the usual stores, all a waste of time. It must be 3 yrs since I last visited and WOW! The store has had a complete revamp and what a good job they have done. It is well laid out and they have a forgotten concept in shops, STOCK. Remember those days when you could go into a clothes shop and they had a large selection? Non of that, oh you need to order online. Goodness knows how many versions of waterproof jackets they had. Prices ranged from £39 to £250 and there were a range of sizes to try on and buy.

Excellent store, friendly staff, always check online whilst you're in store as if it's a U.K. competitor they will match and beat by 10%. Loads of stuff. Climbing equipment is my main reason to visit. Although recently their bikes have become surprisingly usable offroad considering they aren't a dedicated bike store. (Halfords doesn't count.)

First time we have actually been in store since original lockdown. Store was laid out differently but improved by more space in corridors of shelves allowing you to still move around but without over contact with other customers. As always,staff helpful and quick to find anything that you are looking for,but done with safety and covid rules followed at all times. As said first time for a while,partner and myself came out with four pairs of walking boots, so good go in and try again!

Warning! The Norwich GoOutdoors now has max stay of 2hrs car parking. Whilst this shouldn’t be an issue for most - you never know! Aside from the sad state of affairs with the parking, this is an excellent store which has recently been extended. There are lots of items to satisfy both poles of adventurer. Very helpful staff and a friendly relaxed atmosphere too. Plenty of space still leaving you feeling all Covid safe!

Re designed refit makes the shopping experience more enjoyable. It feels like the number of products has been reduced so not so many choices but that could be because of what you are searching for. My one suggestion would be to move the access once inside the store entrance moved to opposite side to the exit (as you leave the store). There is no real social separation at this pinch point, everywhere else in the store is good. Staff are lovely and helpful.

Absolutey love this store, my partner and I go there just to drool over the tents!!!! Ok, on a serious note, we visited recently looking for advise about back packs and we couldn't have received better treatment from a store colleague called David, he was a mountain of knowledge about packs, he spent ages with us and showed us Osprey packs which we were considering anyway, he explained about sizing, fitting, packing etc, you name it, he knew it...will definitely be ordering the packs soon as they didn't have the models in store that actually wanted, but we will have them delivered to the store so we can collect them there and have them fitted properly... 10/10...if you need outdoor gear get to Go Outdoors!!!! Usual array of stuff for the great outdoors. Went to have a look at fishing gear but stocks quite low of basics like reels etc? Maybe Covid to blame or maybe pulling out of the fishing market? Still a good place for coats, shoes etc. Bought my last pair walking shoes here and so far 🤞🏻 all good.

Yes, it was a good visit. Friendly staff and so much to choose from. They have a 20% off selected items at the moment if you get a discount card at the checkout. For me this represented a £15 return which I thought was great. Hopefully I can use the card again in the new year.

Easy online order but no separate area for click and collection. So you have to join the regular queue. Bit of a shambles really. They didn't have one of the items I ordered in stock, despite the order going through. So called and said they'll replace with something better. Both items not cheap but quality doesn't seem great. Always like visiting here, loads of bargains if you have a discount card. Everything here for walking, cycling, running, camping... in fact pretty much most outdoor activities. They carry a variety of brands and staff are always happy to help you. Dogs on leads are also welcome.

Bought a tent about a month ago when we bought it we couldn't afford the canopy so asked if we wanted the porch at a later date would we be able to get it if we wanted we were told that would be fine they may just need to order it in if they didn't have any. Two weeks later we had the money and went to the store to order it but it was out of stock so they said we could order it for delivery in store. So I ordered and paid but 1 week later we were told they could not get it for us so I check online and they had several at other stores. I then email back explaining that they had them at several other stores to be informed that they can't do store to store transfer. At a last attempt to try and get one I reserved one online at the closest store to me and proceeded to drive down there but after 45 minutes I get a call from my wife saying they have emailed her back and don't have any stock at Ipswich so I turn around and come home when home we check stock for the closest store with them and Ipswich store is still showing them in stock. This company is appalling now I am stuck with a tent that won't be suitable for our family and out of pocket for all the travelling and calls I have made. UPDATE they now have refunded our tent and we bought another witch we should be able to get any extras we nee.

Camping shop or bike shop. You'll probably have to buy an annual "membership" card, costing £5, to get better prices. This is likely to pay for itself in the first shop, but is an extra hidden cost.
