Spent a fabulous afternoon riding through the Plym valley on an E-bike which made the adventure so easy and enjoyable. The staff at Plymouth Bike hire were very helpful, especially Thomas who coached us through using the E-bike. My partner and I had such a great time we will be back.Thoroughly recommend 100%

The Plym Valley and the surrounds were beautiful. Made it all the way to the moors, definitely not for the light hearted. I would regret it myself if not for the amazing views and quiet. The hybrid bikes on hire were sturdy and good company. More importantly, Nic and Pam and the two guys who helped fit our bikes are lovely. Nic and Pam even gave me a lift back to town. Impeccable service and definitely an unforgettable experience when you're down in Plymouth. Look out for their outpost on Mount Edgecumbe too, it's a beautiful place to cycle and hike and just a stone's throw away from Devonport.

We hired bikes on the 25th of October and we were a group of family/relatives of 14. The staff on site was very polite and very helpful. She made sure that everyone of us were comfortable in our bike before we made our journey. Everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour. Special thanks goes to the staff for making us feel comfortable. I recommend this place to everyone. It was really memorable moment with our family and relatives.

My husband and I had a terrific day. We hired electric bicycles and went to Tavistock where we had a lovely lunch beside the river. The traffic free cycle path is a delight with sections of beautiful greenery, water features and a few tunnels. The bicycles worked well and I would definitely recommend electric ones, unless you are a very experienced cyclist, as the path has some steep sections. Besides that, electric ones are great fun. We loved greeting the wild ponies and cattle along the way. The scenery was beautiful. I have urged my children to do this ride and will tell other friends about it too. We received excellent service from the friendly people at Plymouth Bike Hire.

Every bike I've hired has done us well, and has been a fab way to get the niece and nephew out for a day without hassle of transporting bikes with them across the country when they come to visit Recently my niece came a cropper when out, and not only were they super at the time, they called next day to check on her. Just dropped in, staff are fantastic, helpful and very easy to get on with.These guys worked like an F1 pit crew helping get us out on the road/ trail. Happy to recommend them 👍. If you want to get out onto Drakes trail and need a bike ask them. The family and dog were very grateful. 100% recommend

We hired two adult bikes, one with a tandem and one with a trailer. Booking was easy and quick, made ready when we got there and the bikes and equipment were good quality. Free helmet hire too which was helpful. They clearly know about bikes. Good service and good value!

Arriving 40minutes before announced opening time, the boss man still signed me in and set me on the way. The hybrid bike was problem free and easily ridden especially because of the smooth 8 gear controls. With a lock provided and helmet offered at no extra cost the staff gave clear instructions as to route with some pointers as to what to look out for. Plenty of time allowed as bikes need to be returned at the latest at a very reasonable time of 6 pm. Excellent service and acceptable prices. Fantastic.

Excellent experience! I rarely write reviews, but I was so impressed I had to share. My boyfriend loves cycling and in the past I have joined him on bike rides and hated it. But here I (a) had an electric bike - highly recommended if you don't like cycling; and (b) the routes were traffic free and enjoyable. The guy who served us was lovely and helpful. I enjoyed this 100 times more than I thought it would and would recommend it to even the least enthustic of cyclists!

Hired a tandem for the day and was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We were shown a map of different routes and told where any hills were. We were even given biscuits before we left! The bike was in great condition, and the prices reasonable. Will definitely use again!

My Dad rented a bike here yesterday and I was surprised at the quality of the bike. It cost £15 to hire the bike for the entire day which I thought was good value. I will definitely come here again.

Haha, so.. I had a "bit" of a nightmare in Cann woods, and managed to snap my derailleur hanger, figured I was in store for a healthy 2 or 3 hour walk home but stumbled across this place right on the edge of the woods. The 2 guys there were so helpful, and managed to not only remove the derailleur and stop it banging but actually turned it into a single speed bike which allowed me to RIDE home... I couldn't believe it. Incredible service. Would highly recommend these guys for your bike rentals, they are really engaging and helpful, and are brilliant with bikes.. Thanks again for getting me home, was a real lifesaver! The LBS was shut, so I haven't fixed it yet, but I'll pay you guys a visit next week to say thanks again!

Nick was an absolute star. Texted him the night before to arrange 12 bikes (mix of adults & kids). Immediate response. On the day, everything sorted quickly. Nick was very good with the kids and we had a really good day out on good quality bikes. Would not hesitate to recommend. 5 stars well deserved.

My rating may be based more on the fact that my family didn't moan about the 25 mile ride I took them on. This was totally down to the fact that I hired then electric bikes. The Inland tail is fairly straightforward, whilst the run to the Hoe requires a little more navigation. The guy who runs the show is a hoot and is a joy to deal with.

Helpful, friendly service with a beautiful traffic free cycle route. Family friendly. Previously cycled the Tarka trail, but prefer the terrain and scenery along this route. Called the number before hand and Nick had all the bikes ready on our arrival. Will visit again.

Good quality, well kept bikes, and located very close to the cycle way through plym bridge woods up to Yelverton. Great location and you do the uphill part at the start of the day, and it's downhill at the end of the day :)

Family ride out on the 8 speed hub geared hybrids. Locks and helmets provided. Lovely people, great easy to ride bikes and the Plym Valley Sustans Trail 27 is both scenic and well surfaced. Great day out.
