Direct access to a beautiful hiking trail, which leads to nice, quiet roads along the water with an old pub along the way. The quality of the bikes is very good. They are very well maintained.

Stopped at the cafe en-route to Devoran by bike. Unfortunately they lost our order so we had to chase up. The coffee was fine but the chocolate milkshake was awful; think 1970's Nesquick and no ice-cream. Shame as the place is in a great location for cycling the Coast to Coast trail.

Stopped for a coffee, after picking up the tree, ended up having a delicious breakfast 😋 and dodged a heavy hail storm. Wonderful warm and friendly environment.

Great bike hire shop, bikes in good working order and pretty good quality. Massive plus is that the shop is right on the coast to coast route which is a lovely bike ride almost entirely on paths so avoids roads.

A lovely venue. Really lovely staff. Amazing breakfast in a box. Coffee was better than Costa. Has undercover seating available as well as alfresco. Whole venue was spotless. A great place to go when cycling or horse riding in the area. Or just passing through like us.

A lovely part stop to enjoy a break for the final stretch if from Portreath or a fair bit of cycle left if going from devoran, the parking is ample for this that want to start from here and the staff were nice though will have changed from over 10 years ago

Came for lunch today and told a 15min wait for hot food. The person serving was very polite, but when I noted if it were 40mins I wouldn't be ordering, it was confirmed as 15mins. It turned out to be 1hr for two bacon rolls. Appreciate it can get busy, but you need to manage expectations. Many people in the same position as us and not happy. In defence the Standard of food was good.

Love the location fresh food friendly staff ,perhaps one of Cornwall's best kept secrets. If you want a day out cycling walking discovering coast to coast this is a must. as all food is prepared from fresh be prepared for a small wait in busy periods

The staff were lovely. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Its worth paying for parking just so you have a reason to visit the cafe which is well worth a visit. Great coffee, great food and lovely staff.

After failing dismally to get a bacon butty in Penryn on a Sunday lunchtime, Bissoe delivered. Took a while, and they need to give up trying to sell the sun damaged polo shirts on the rack and use them to clean bike chains, other than that... cracking choice of breakfast rolls, nice tea and coffee - just what the doctor ordered.

Brilliant place. Cheap bike hire which included helmets, puncture repair kit. Although we didn't sample the food, the cafe looked lovely. Very friendly staff. If you're in the area, get yourself down there.

Good dog walks here, and dogs are welcome in the cafe. The £3 car parking is refunded when you use the cafe, regardless of what you spend there, and when you can get a mug of tea and a lovely piece of millionaires shortbread for £2.50 that's a bargain!

Richard not only rented me a bike, he made sure I had a spare inner tube, pump, and the necessary equipment to change it, should I get a puncture. (That I had no idea how to do it is another matter! ;-) )... I arrived back at the shop well over an hour after closing time as I lost my way and also had a nasty fall on the return. It was Richard's birthday too that day and yet he waited for me, knowing I was new to Cornwall and might be in trouble. What an amazing person! Highly recommended.
