Excellent bike park. Car park is £5 quid which can be paid either with card or cash. Staff are super helpful and friendly.
I'd advise to take plenty of water whilst riding the red and black trails as they take you a considerable distance away from the trail centre.
The trails themselves are well maintained and take you around some stunning views. Additionally, they are graded slightly different from other centres; if you can manage red usually then you'll want to jump on the black ones.
Would recommend.

Brilliant trail centre that caters for all. Been coming for about 8 years and never disappoints. From blue to reds and blacks all trails are well maintained. Hub is very good too for refreshments or to get supplies from the bike shop.

What a fantastic bike park. Great parking at just £5 plus £2 per extra person. Overflow car park up the fire road is alway easy to park in. The trails are well marked out and extremely well kept. Nice coffee shop at the end for some lunch. Good bike wash at £1 and plenty of tools available to fix any thing that has failed on the route. Trail maintenance has now been completed on the last red and the run down to the cafe is great. Awesome work OPA

Used to come here years ago with my mates when i was growing up. I brought my little boy here today he's 7 and he absolutely loved the 2 laps of the green route that he done.....he can't wait to get his practice in and get on the blue route!
The price to park is brilliant £5 all day.....you can literally make the day as cheap as you want. We took a picnic and stopped next to the reservoir to eat it.....when we got to the finish we rewarded our hard work with a cake and hot drink....again price was great and the food was lovely! We will be back!

Been a few times now, The bike trails are amazing, I think raspberry ripple is probably my favourite part so far. The whole place is just beautiful, the views are stunning and the trails are loads of fun and a brilliant way to get exercise and there is a nice sense of community here too, everyone is chatty and friendly.
But my only moan is with the food at the café.
After you have spent 3 hours on a trail you want some good grub! But unfortunately the quality of the food doesn't meet the price. I ordered a stake burger and chips, which was about £10 ish I think. So I was expecting something really nice. I was hungry!! You know when you're starving after a big work out and you could eat a whole cow! That hungry.. But the burger was shockingly bad. Just seemed really cheap and mushy rather than it being a meaty burger. The bread wasn't toasted so it was just like chewing thick bread with a mushy burger inside. Salad was a single spinach leaf. No onions, tomato's or something exciting that would have given it texture and flavour.
Wasn't any cheese on the burger either. The chips weren't cooked. Most of them still hard in the middle. and it wasn't busy so there was no reason to rush them.Menu said food would be served with coleslaw but I didn't get any, I just wanted some flavour 🤣 So we will go again for the trails but will probably be quick get out so we can find somewhere else to eat.
The staff are super friendly and kind, everyone is helpful. It's genuinely a really nice place to go. Sorry I had to moan about the food!

My son and husband had a good ride today, we are really glad we came. But I'd heard the cafe was really good, so had been looking forward to visiting with my youngest son while the others rode. I had an Oat Latte, which pretty good. But the lack of clear vegan options was disappointing. One Planet suggests the owners might have some awareness of the affect that eating meat has on the environment.. But the menu is standard with sausages and beef burgers. There was a veggie burger, and veggie salad, but the salad ingredients had run out.

What a place great views walking 🚶♂️ trails, mountain biking 🚵♂️ trails for all levels of experience. It's very busy here because it's such a beautiful area. We tried the green route mountain biking 🚵♂️ nice and easy 6k
Then the blue route mountain biking 🚵♀️ twice as long with an uphill climb at the start that seems to go on forever and a roller coaster ride down hill which makes your day. There are red and black routes that are longer and more extreme. There's a bike rental on site and cafe parking is £5
You will love it here.

Llandega has some great trails and the staff are most helpful. All of the trails are interesting, fun and appropriately levelled. Even the ones below your ability are fab, I still enjoy a fast and flowing blast around the blue. There really is something for everyone and far more importantly for the family. While the missus beasts around the black you can take a 4,5 or 6 yr old around the walking trail, green or blue. The cafe is fab and is a good enough distraction for the wife while you sneak into the shop to buy something totally necessary. The real gem of the place is the helpfulness of the staff. They will help get you on the trail if, as often happens, you find something is in need of a skilled pair of hands. One Planet needs to think about the family costs particularly charging for additional adults who may just be walking with a young cyclist.

Really enjoyed the facility. There is a good few routes ranging from green- black.
Had a skills area to practice for beginners, the pump track a little challenge mid way down the green route.
Tracks are well posted so hard to get lost unless you go too fast.
Prices for the cafe seemed a wee bit high but expected. Price to park the vehicle seemed fair. £5 per vehicle and £2 for additional passengers. Can't complain.

Huge MTB trials. This is one of my favourite places to ride MTB.
Stunning views of snowdon.
Superb forest sections, some very fast.
Short but sweet Pump track.
Warm up practice area with jumps and tech sections.
Special jump track, for experienced riders only!
Red and blue runs can be done in about 3 hours with breaks.
Nice lake here too.
Superb cafe.
Small but decent bike shop.
Just £5 for parking all day.
There are walking trials also.
Place to jet wash your bike after ride, just £1.
Tons of parking.
This place is a real pleasure to come and ride and gets my top recommendation.
It’s not really difficult but there are some challenging climbs, even on e-bike which I ride.
When I come here I like to ride the red and blue runs and then if the weather is good I tend to head over to the horse shoe pass cafe and ride up the mountain 🏔 there for a while just to finish my battery off.

A great place for mountain biking, hiking, running, meeting friends for food. Lots of parking space, dog friendly in the cafe, outdoor seating under a canopy. Wednesday nights are bbq or pizza night and highly recommended. Good selection of bikes (including e-bikes) and accessories for sale and good trails to demo bikes on.
S. W.
Excellent trails, confidence/ skills area, cafe and Fox goodies shop. On the grounds mechanics, fast and friendly servicing at good prices. Members of the Armed Forces entry free (nice to be appreciated)
B. B.
Pros - Shop, café and staff all great. Shop has a huge range. Trails are well maintained. Parking is easy, views are amazing. Skills park is great with a few cheeky doubles
Cons - Shop is a little overpriced but you expect that. Trails are way to easy. Grading here is crazy. The black should be a red or green and the red should be a family route. The only thing that I can think of which gives these gradings is the distance. They are long. After a 3 mile climb I don't feel there is enough reward for your effort. Be prepared for the odd biking yuppy, bikers that wont talk to you, wear all the gear but cant ride a bike. Seem to be more here than your average trail. Parking is £5 plus £2 for each person in the car which I think is a little steep.
All that being said...if you just getting into biking this is a great starting point and good for building fitness. Also fantastic for advice on upgrading your bike or sorting kit out. Once you build your skill set up you probably wont come back unfortunately.
A. R.
Was great as usual. Test rode some of the latest Yeti bikes. Verrrry nice. Gimme a 165, stat! 😁😍
s.
Amazing trails and all the staff are extremely helpful. If you like mountain biking no matter your skill level you have to come and see this place for yourself it's unreal 👍👍
D. C.
What is there to say........ Had an absolutely amazing day. Cafe great and the trails are plentyful and you can play it safe or rock your nuts off! So so so worth a cist if your into mountain biking or walking or photography or love the outdoors.....
S. G.
Very friendly helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble, excellent hire bikes, signage on the trails needs to be a lot clearer and easier to spot, also often get presented with multiple paths but no idea which trail is which, met several others who got lost along the way, well worth a visit and great day out
T. Y.
Awesome trails for MTB for all skill levels. Had a blast shredding the red and black routes. Great facilities, cafe, bike shop, toilets, wash station and plenty of parking spaces.
S. H.
Awesome Mountain Bike centre, excellent trails and a fantastic cafe. At the moment because of covid you have to order food using a QR code app so remember your smartphone. Really helpful staff and very good bike shop, which also does bike hire. There are walking trails and it's very dog friendly, a really good day out
M. H.
The trails are excellent and genuinely suitable for all abilities. Only £4.50 to park for the day. I did all the red route and optional black runs and left tired but utterly happy. Great onsite facilities too.
M. T.
This is an excellent dedicated mountain bike trail in North Wales. All day parking is just £4.50 and there are plenty of spaces but get there early if you want one of the lower places. There are several routes, clearly marked ala skiing; blue (easy), red (intermediate), black (challenging).
The Cafe rightly claims to have the "best bacon butties in Wales". After cycling for several hours, the food is always a welcome reward. This centre is truly excellent.
S. N.
Really fast and fun sections with some challenging climbs in places. Plenty of places to get airborne along the way. It's great for those who want to take their riding a step further from local woods. There's 4 cycling routes in all, graded from green to black. Walkers and runners have their own routes so you can bomb it round on a bike without having to worry about dogs and their owners.
There's also a freeride track and a separate dirt jumping section if showing off is your thing.
There's a shop with a workshop if you get in trouble although you'll pay a little more for a major on the spot repair. Also on site is an excellent cafe serving decent coffee and very good food. The food is surprisingly cheap for a captive audience but after ripping up their trails and having so much fun you want to throw them some money. You'll only pay £4.50 to park and after that you have unlimited use of the fantastic trails, lovely views and washing facilities.
All in all there's something for anyone who likes their riding dirty and sans lycra, great trail centre.
B. B.
It's been a while but Llandegla still offers fab riding with the interminable start climb really not as bad as I remembered and some new sections on the red trails offering a lot of fun. The cafe and shop are excellent, really friendly shop staff keen to help and genuinely approachable. Cafe served delicious coffee and cake, I'd say it was expensive but I suspect no more expensive than anywhere else these days. Great day.
L. C.
Really great guidance with helping us choose the right mountain bikes and accessories for me and my husband. Jim, David, Ryan & Joe gave us fantastic support getting us sorted out with the best bikes for us. Lovely atmosphere in the cafe and shop, great food and amazing cakes! The trails are so well marked and looked after, you couldn't want for more. You couldn't wish for a better experience. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks to you all.
J. H.
Great bike shop. The service has been very good, easy to get some warranty work done and the team went the extra mile to sort that. The loyalty card is good. A good visit if riding at the trail center.
P. M.
Great place to let off some steam on your MTB and push yourself if you want to, or stick to a more flatter cycle root. I've done the Red an Black and l want to go back and experience the easier roots blue and green. Definitely recommend.
J. E.
First day back open. Public WiFi and a new click and collect order system in place. All very well organised, great to be back.
T. R.
Great trails, top cafe and bike shop. Just a top place all round. Worth traveling to
G. M.
Brilliant place for mountain biking, walking and running for all the family. Another visit today (21/09/2019) any another great day out riding.
S. M. S. M.
Absolutely amazing place. Credit to the trail crew.
The fantastic downhill section far outway the beastly climbs.
J. D.
Purchased a new bike from here today and honestly it's a great place with some of the best staff I've ever met. Despite me purchasing one of the cheaper bikes in the shop the service was absolutely quality, I left happy and feeling like a valued customer. Will be back for the trails and maybe more bikes in the future. Thanks guys 👍
J. H.
The trails could be better and there is a long fire road slog to the start, but the cafe and shop are brilliant. Once the trails actually start they are very good and offer features of all abilities.
m.
A great playground for MTB, the blue trail, a long driveway and then downhill with beautiful views.
A. F.
Absolutely superb day here, took my own bike, parking was £5 and there is plenty of it too.
The trails are better suited to riders with some skills although there are bail out lines and most obstacles are rollable.
The trails themselves vary in difficulty from Blue which is easy to Black which is hard. You will need a good level of fitness to do more than the Blue Trail and a capable bike.
The shop here is well stocked and can have orders delivered if the parts are not in stock.
The cafe is superb...good prices and great food - top notch sausage butty!!
D. K.
Top notch day out, trails are superb and have recently been refurbished. The cafe foods lush, just don't buy any bikes from the shop, you'll be £5k in debt.
D. C.
Great trail center,a lot of work has gone into the trails here and it shows, awesome work 👏, great skills area, well stocked MTB shop, good food in the cafe
P. E.
Great days riding today, love all the new trail adaptions, well done one planet Llandegla
T. W.
Love OPA. Started going again after a long break of several years. Just spoilt myself and bought a new bike from the OPA shop (great service) and hit the trails again which are amazing. Then there's the cafe to return to after the ride.... Yum yum!
M. B.
Great tracks and views. Very helpful and informative staff. The cafe is awesome- cracking range of good value, tasty homemade meals. Good bike facilities if you are bringing your own bike. I’m a sort of newby to mountain biking but they sorted me out and I was off down a blue run! Highly recommend.
C. W.
Really happy to be able to get normal service back here! The cafe is excellent with really friendly and helpful staff, and who can knock an actual barbecue serving to order?!
The trails are in really good condition and the shop has most of what you might need last minute. A really good place to drop into if you're in the area.
P. L.
Best bike and walking area I've been to. Superb well groomed and designed trails.
Great view points for resting.
Good mixture of graded up and down trails to suit all biking abilities.
Well stocked friendly on site cycle shop.
Good food, coffee and cake, all served by friendly efficient staff.
Clean washrooms 👍
Look forward to returning very soon.....🚴🍰🚴🌞🚴👍😎💯

Great location in N Wales that's about 30 - 40 mins from Chester. Good mix of Green, Blue, Red and Black mtb trails and excellent for walkers with paths on to Offas Dyke. Shop / cafe has great food with excellent BBQ on Wednesday evening in the summer. Staff are friendly and knowlagble.
M. B.
Fab trails. Great cafe. Great price to park and ride. What's not to love 👍
A. Y.
Excellent biking track. Lots of routes to suit all abilities.
Super walking tracks for walkers and dogs too.

P. D.
Covid restrictions gone.Workshop, shop and cafe all open normally Good food and coffee.Great graded mountain bike trails, running trails and waymarked walks in forest.Parking fees .
I. D.
Went to check it out and buy a present, thought we'd get some lunch and queued up, when we went to order we were told they had stopped taking orders to set up the barbecue and we'd have to queue up again in 10 minutes.
2nd visit and the 1st time riding. Absolutely awesome, great staff, did the red route and loved it, was dying at the end though.
M. G.
Some fun MTB trails, a rather tedious climb, but great after that.
Surface is rough, full suspension bike a good idea.
The cafe food is OK, and served quickly. Coffee was good, cakes looked great, saving that for the next visit.
M. F. D.
1st time fun experience with my sister from another mister! 🙌☺️🖤
C. C.
OnePlanet is great, great bike shop and cafe with useful and friendly staff and the trails are well maintained and offer a great selection, from the very beginner to more technical trials and bigger jumps.
A. W.
Fantastic trails for all abilities, and great cakes from the cafe as your reward
S. E.
Great place for riders of all abilities. I've been well over 30 times and love it
A. T.
Hired two e bikes from one planets today the guys in the workshop/bike hire centre were extremely helpful and friendly compare to our experience the previous day a coed y Brenin.
They set up the bikes suspension for our weight before we went on the trails and showed us how to use them and also put them back in charge whilst we had lunch so we could do another round of the red route. Would highly recommended and the centre are lucky to have such a dedicated team of staff.
Can’t wait to come back
C. K.
Thanks a lot for the service - you guys have been amazing throughout my bike purchasing process. Very happy from start to finish, and most importantly, very much enjoying my new bike! Shoutout to David for making the whole process easy!
P. C. (.
Great place for mountain biking, good routes, although part of the red was closed for maintenance, enjoyed a coffee and burger afterwards too. Does get pretty busy, especially at the weekend.
M. T.
Great trails only 5 pounds to park but café is expensive
R. A.
Great place will be going again soon n great cafe/shop.
A. R.
Fantastic place to go on your MTB! The climb is a slog but the reward of the decent makes it worth while.
And also the staff in the shop are really helpful, I left my axle at home when loading the bike (doh) and a really helpful chap in the shop went digging for me and found me one ! Above and beyond and got me on the trails.. I didn't get your name but thank you so much !!
J. S.
Excellent riding on the mountains. Well maintained trails and good technical riding to suit all abilities.
Probably the best trail centre I've been to in North Wales. Lots of uphill but well worth a visit.
a. c.
Great place to hit the trails, fast flowing lines and jumps and drops if you want to do them. Great cafe and shop a little on the expensive side but all day parking for a fiver you can't complain. One thing I think needs to be there is a outside drinking water tap to fill camelbaks or drink bottles as at the moment you have to fill from under the taps in the toilets which isnt the most highgenic way of doing it. Defiantly worth a visit as its a place for all abilities
S. H.
1st time riding at Llandegla and was awesome. Highly recommended 👌
A. J.
Black trail has been done up! Has a great flow to it and new jumps are great fun. Would recommend to everyone
R. M.
The green easy walk 4k is not easy it is very steep in places both up and downhill. Do not do it if you are unfit and not used to walking. Cafe is brilliant good range of drinks and eats.
M. S.
Novice mtb rider, but found the place great! Cant move today for aches and pains but had amazing fun. Trails are well maintained. Highly recommended
M. C.
Really great mountain bike trails and cafe!
A. S.
Cafe & Shop not open which was disappointing as no info that it would be closed. No information on the new Michelin sponsored trail at the trail centre or info on how to get to it. Big up the trail pixes for the work they were doing on the trails..
J. A.
Fantastic for mountain biking and walking.
G. E.
Fantastic place, the MTB trails are excellent and the shop, cafe and bike shop are great. Could do with some more basic kids food in the cafe as many kids too fussy to eat the actually really good food they have.
M. S.
Great trails for all ages, and abilities with a nice green trail around the reservoir.. lots of food options now and a huge covered outdoor area to sit out the Welsh weather when needed.
O. O.
Great set up, boss trails great cafe and shop
F. C.
Excellent location great people great food , top MTB location must visit again and again
L. M.
Brilliant place. Easily accessible. Clean. Can hire bike, helmets etc. Has the lot 👌
R. N.
Amazing place to bike. It is great for all abilities. I am usually a blue trail rider and my husband is a red and black and we both really enjoyed the red loop. Fast, rolling hills, where you can get quite a bit of air if you wanted. The cafe also has amazing food. I cannot say one bad thing about the place.
h. w.
Brilliant.........first time on a trail had great fun. Everyone was so friendly. Trails good, food good, weather not so good but hey we are in Wales and still had a lovely time.
F. A.
Absolutely amazing place. Had a bad crash around half way around the red trail and lost jockey wheels. Two blokes stopped and helped out with repairs to get me back to the shop to replace the bolts. The shop went beyond what I expected and gave me a used rear mech and set me off to do the trails again 👍 loved it.
S. P.
First time visitors to the centre. Really enjoyed ourselves! As we are not mountain bikers we took advantage of the walking routes with the dog. There were 4 routes of different colours to choose from ranging between 2-7 miles in length. We chose the purple route (shortest one) which takes you through the forest and around the reservoir. Lovely views and a really peaceful walk to boot but be warned, although the distances are short, the terrain is tough going in parts with some steep hills and narrow paths to negotiate. We finished the day with a much needed coffee and cake at the cafe. It was reasonably priced and the cakes were delicious. The only very minor niggles I had was the lack of rubbish bins on the walking routes and some of the walking route signage could have been more clearly positioned but all in all we had a great day and will be back to do the other walking routes as soon as we can.
S. T.
So please with my Fox jacket, amazing customer service from David @oneplanet. Can’t recommend enough, thanks once again for the great service.
R. M.
Amazing trails and great cafe. Good for MTB, running and walking. All the walking, running, cycling trails are graded and well signposted.
Family routes around the green trail (cycling) and reservoir (walking) are great for getting small people out into the countryside.
The cafe is really first rate, the quality, price and portion size are all decent. Cakes are amazing and the coffee is proper.
We needed to quickly setup the sag on one of the bikes and the guys in the shop sorted it no problem.
S. W.
Great place, good facilities and draws in a nice crowd of people. Will definitely be going again later in the year. 5 stars
R. A.
Just been to One Planet Adventure to look at a new bike. Ryan was fabulous. Had so much time for us and gave us such good advice. Great set up at the shop, lovely cafe and loads of bikes to see. The trails there are fab too.
P. B.
Great trail center with routes to suit everyone's riding ability.
S. B.
This is my go to MTB trail centre, it has some fantastic trails which are constantly being updated and becoming more technical, if you haven't been in a while you'll be blown away by the upgrades. Food is always fantastic 🤟🏼
K. W.
Great day out on the Red run, takes just over an hour for a beginner like me!
H. P.
Loved the blue trail. I'm a beginner rider looking to progress and this was the perfect trail to practice on. A bit rocky in places, but all in all a great ride.
C. L.
Trails have been given a facelift and they are all the better for it. I'm not good enough to appreciate the bigger features but many riders will be. The cafe logistics are fantastic in the face COVID-19 so hats off to the team.
A. B.
Went to Wales for the weekend, my son broke his mech hanger on the first day so we hired a bike from the hire shop, the bike was setup perfectly for our ride but halfway through I snapped the cage on my mech, headed back down to the visitor centre and the guy in the shop fitted a new mech and chain so we could ride, he checked everything and went above and beyond for us, excellent service and a very polite guy.
V. M.
Really enjoyed today's ride and realise the work put in to clear the trails.
Enjoyed the cafe stop too
Thank you
l. h.
Good place to ride, good facilities.
L. M.
Great trail centre with excellent facilities. £4.50 parking for the day is good value. Takes a couple of hours to do the black, (depending on fitness). Nothing too technical but some lung busting climbs!
Great cafe with really good food. Bike shop can be expensive if you have any mechanicals you can't fix yourself. Overall a great day out!
M. J.
Great place, great staff in bike shop and cafe.
S. C.
The trails here are fun and well maintained. The gravel surfaces mean they drain well and are still ridable after rain. The car park is £4.50 but that's a price I am willing to pay for great trails. The food is also excellent. Paid around £6.50 for a beef and horseradish ciabata which at first seemed a little steep but the beef was thick, bordering on steak which made it worth the money in my book. All round a great trail centre with plenty to ride, no matter your skill level. Will be returning regularly
W. R. -. M.
Always has the best trails to ride on... not been for a few years , but love it still ... cafe is great to with friendly staff, always there to keep you happy ... Still a great place ... need to get fitter 🙂🤟
d. n.
First time mountain biking. Great place. Staff at centre were helpful sorting out an extra hire at short notice. £4.50 for the day's parking is pretty reasonable. Food looked really nice but didn't try any. definitely going back but split between bike trails or trying out the trail running.
N.
My favourite trail centre hands down, fast flowing single track guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Black sections are technical but can still be taken at speed!! Nice pump track and skills area to get you warmed up before the climb to the start of the red. Cafe serves quality food at reasonable prices and the shop is well stocked if you forget something or need a little retail therapy, wish I lived closer!
m. b.
It's really nice place to visit, the staff are really good, the food is nice, the trails are well maintained, I say if you haven't yet visited go, we'll worth the drive,
J. N.
Great place, great staff, great food, great tracks!
B. M.
Great mountain biking for all abilities. Decent cafe for drinks or a meal. A good bike shop with a workshop and friendly staff. Fairly priced bike hire. I can't rate it highly enough.
M. M.
Great MTB centre with wide range of trails for different skills. Most trails involve a long climb and are often rocky surface. Good paid carpark, cafe etc.
a. k.
This is by far one of the best bike parks in the country I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of going there to go, there are trails for all abilities young and older, the staff are nice and friendly, the bike shop is amazing and the on site cafe caters for all including vegan, well worth the 5 star review from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
R.
Great shop situated at Coed Llandegla forest. The trails at Llandegla, although not overly technical, are very fun and flow well. The red route is sufficiently challenging for a couple of loops if you've got a spare few hours. The trails hold up well even in the bad weather which is great when the local trails are too muddy to ride. The cafe is great for a post ride meal - especially the burger. Apparently they serve the best breakfast in Wales..... Car park is £3 which goes towards the upkeep of the forest and trails. Definitely a great trail centre for beginners through to seasoned riders.
N. C.
First time here. Excellent, well-maintained trails, black had many fast but smooth sections but also a lot of huffing and puffing up the extra climbs!. Busiest trail centre I've been to but it was worth it.
D. B.
All round awesome place to visit even if it's just for the cakes they produce definitely the tiffin cakes. Trails are great and the walking routes are good too. Parking in abundance and at £4.50 for the full day it's a bargain. Definitely worth a visit. Camping in available just at the bottom of the road too.
M. T.
Llandegla trail centre Cafe and Bike shop.
A brilliant local mountain biking, hiking and trail running centre with something for all abilities. Trails include a short skulls/warm up track followed by a selection of easy blue family trails to red/intermediate and black advanced level. There is little difference between red and black on the downhill sections, miles of north shore boardwalk whoops, table tops, doubles and rock garden to keep you entertained at high speed. It’s the up hills where the blacks differ, really tough, for the strong legged and strong willed, the temptation to get off and ouch is always there.
If you take in a full lap of reds and blacks you’ll put in approx 12km in and hour and 20mins ish, and burn about 1000 cals. All for the meagre £4.50 car pack fee.
There’s usually always somewhere to park, very busy sunny bank holidays will see you parking further up the forest trail, a blessing in disguise as you grind to the top of the Ling back straight.
The cafe servers tremendous healthy and not so healthy, but always high quality breakfasts and lunches, the bacon bap is highly recommended.
The bike shop, whilst pricy only stocks the best equipment, and the onsite bike mechanic is extremely good value.
Go Llandegla and One Planter adveture
R. K.
Coed Llandegla Forest is probably one of the best set out non uplift trail centres in the uk catering for people of all riding ability's. starting with perfect trails for people with young family's, people new to mountain biking to the seasoned mountain biker. The trails are fast and flowing and fun with enough to keep even a experienced rider entertained. The main red route is a bit of a slog up the hills and the first fire road fells like its never going to end but you are soon rewarded for your hard work work when the bike points down hill. The shop is well stocked with everything you will ever need in a mechanical emergency or just stuff you have forgotten. the food in the caffe is excellent. the only criticism is the shop staff are rude but they soon turn friendly when they think your buying a bike.
awesome trails, moody staff.
A.
First time riding any sort of trails. Started with the blue which was brilliant, then had a go on the red and it was probably the most fun I've ever had! Definitely be back soon and may even try the coaching to get on the black!
E. C.
Great MTB trials, something for every ability. Good skills zone and pump track which is close to car parks. Friendly staff in bike shop and cafe, with decent selection in both. Bike wash and repair station also available.
B. M. (.
The trails are nice, but I don't recommend the ham & eggs at the cafe; the ham was very dry and cold, and eggs were way overcooked. I also wish they had public WiFi for those that don't have great phone signal there.
C. E.
First time here today in a number of years, fantastic food, friendly staff and great trails! What more could you want?
K. X.
Nice bikes, store, rental and Cafe. Toilets on site, but unfortunately no showers or changing rooms - essential after a long, muddy ride before getting back in the car. If they had shower facilities I would give 5 stars.
It is advised to pre book hire bikes if required and bring your own gear (gloves, backpack for water etc) as only helmets are provided with the bikes, and the worn handlebar grips really were not enjoyable to use with bare hands.
The nearby trails are quite rough, and muddy after some rain. Bring suitable full suspension bike and clothing for weather.
Parking is £4.50 for the day and the car park opens around 8:45am and stays open to around 9pm. The car parking attendant was a very pleasant gentleman who gave us information about the park facilities and a perfect place to park our vehicle.no
A. S.
Great place to ride and a fantastic place to eat! Trails ready for any ability and a great atmosphere, shop is great, full of shiny stuff we wish we could afford! Very friendly and helpful staff who are very knowledgeable and are good at diagnosing injuries which I unfortunately found out first hand! (While being silly)
A. M.
Had a great day as part of a family holiday. Hired bikes, had walks, enjoyed the cafe. Good day all around. Fantastic views, trails and facilities. My son loved the skills areas.
H. P.
Absolutely fantastic, i have been riding here since it opened in 2005/2006, it's changed so much and is just a brilliant day out for all the family! There are trails to suit everyone and a very convenient, well priced cafe which is excellent to finish off your ride/walk at.
A. D.
That was mine first visit, definitely not last! MTBer's paradise - trails full of features for all skills and abilities. Flowy blue, gnarly black. Highly recommended, well worth visiting
D. E.
New features aplenty. Need time to bed in though
C. M.
Got there n shocker rain in Wales !
Nicely set out place parking was £4.50 For the day , trails are fast and demanding in the wet well thought out and fun . if you do the black route you will be ,very tired ! There are lots of facilities there toilets ,café, shop ,bike wash, conference room .
Best cup of tea we had in ages and very nice cakes ,bit on the pricey side .
My letdowns where there seemed to be more UPS than downs n the downs where over very quick
And me and my mate where really disheartened that a beautiful Welsh hill/Forrest could be litters with so many wrappers and bottles n cans ! It ain't hard just take it back with you in your bag !
Over all enjoyable day in wet Wales ;-)
C. W.
Beautiful trails, excellent food in the cafe and a fully stocked bike shop. What more could you want.
D. L.
Great trails and Cafe, would be absolutely perfect if there were showers.
A. L.
The family trail worked for out 6 and 8 year olds. The blue route would have been too tough. 25 minute uphill section would have been too challenging. Facilities are great.
All they need now is an adventure play park for the kids to make it a whole day out for the entire family. At the moment it's mostly for dedicated mountain bikers. But that bit is perfect.
R. S.
Last week I spent the morning at One Planet on a one 2 one skills session with one of their coaches, Ed.
The session stripped my riding right back to start at the basics and core skills and helped me identify my many bad habits. Ed is an awesome rider and coach and made the morning fly by. A really engaging and interesting guy.
After the session I grabbed a coffee and met with Harriet who helped me with my booking. On more then one occasion I had to reschedule my session and on each occasion Harriet was so understanding and happy help.
I’ve always been a big fan of Llandegla and even more so now.
Already I’ve noticed an improvement in my riding and before long I’ll be back for another session!
J. P.
Great place. Great trails. Good bike shop. Amazing place to grow your skills as a mtb cyclist. More signs to find the place would be useful as the post code and sat-nav takes you somewhere 2 miles from the bikepark.
R. T.
Excellent. Cafe, bike shop, mechanics and more. Only reason I didn't give it 5 is the amount of e- bikes that use the facility but that's just my personal preference.
C. E.
Nicely done procedures for getting food and drink, whilst keeping socially distant.
The bike shop is also open again too.
You need to pre-book parking at the weekends.
L. C.
Flat out Fast!
If you are looking for a great trail centre in North Wales then look no further. Excellent trails with a bit for everyone. The Red/Black has some great technical options for more advanced riders, the Blue if you are keen, and the green for the young ones or just getting in to it.
Ample parking right by the visitor centre, Oneplanet Adventure. Excellent service from both the cafe and the bike shop, go in for a cake and its easy to leave with a full belly and new MTB that you really did'nt need but wanted so badly!
G. W.
Just fantastic online shop, good prices and great customer service. I've ordered wrong size of protection and return process went nice and smoothly. They are proffesional, polite and responsing e-mails immediately. I can't be more satisfied! Also many thanks for coffee gift to my order:)
S. L.
Situated in the rugged North Wales mountains is a true gem, one planet at Llandegla has something for all abilities within reason, blue, red and black runs, jumps drop offs, skills area and an amazing cafe serving full Welsh breakfast(don't ask for a full English) 🙈 lol....... Its about 13miles around and takes from 1.5 to 2.5 hrs depending on ability, top day out 👌
R. L.
Amazing trails, well worth traveling.
Б. М.
Really great place to go for mtb. We've been there first time and had so much fun
T. S. 3.
Great bike shop, I broke my rear Dr Swiss hub and they fixed it for me very quickly! Good work 👍
Check out our review of the trails and a nearby campsite on YouTube
M. D.
Great trail centre, great trails it's a shame that it's users can't manage to take their litter home. It really is disgusting just how much litter is left scattered along the trails. Having mountain biked all over the world & never seen anywhere near as much discarded rubbish, it makes me feel ashamed at the amount of litter left on the hills. I recently took a French friend to the trail centre, he lives in Morzine in the Alps which has far higher visitor numbers than Llandegla. He couldn't believe that people would come to this fantastic facility & then abuse it with their waste! Like I said great trails shame about the litter.
J.
Decent trail, good coffee, excellent smoothies, food is great.
£4.50 parking is very reasonable if you're using the trails because they're very well kept.
J. D.
I mean, I've ridden most of the main mtb trails in Scotland so every trail I visit now I can't help myself but compare. Considering degla is much closer to home you can't complain. The facility's are fantastic and the trails themselves are fun. A bit rough on a hardtail but most trail centres south of Scotland are. I like smooth and following single track, degla has quite a rocky and bumpy surface.
B. M.
Absolutely excellent service from the shop online, customer service was amazing, fast delivery and processing, and the bike and pedals I ordered turned up together, special thanks to Matt for getting it all sorted, couldn’t ask for more!
A. F.
Love this place. Great for walking and riding
M. F.
Great trail centre ideal even in wet conditions
D. H.
Just beautiful! A lovely walk around the reservoir whilst the boys did their stuff. Gorgeous food in cafe
M. E.
Sweet trail centre. The black is challenging but rewards you with some nice airtime and the red has the famous "b-line" to keep you coming back for more.. Good food and well stocked bike shop.
C. D. P.
Great place.
These places have a tenancy to over charge for everything, but not here. Bike jet wash £1 , parking and entry for the day £4. Great friendly people and amazing jumps and trails. My kids live it !!!! Good coffee!!!
S. C.
Dropped in for some emergency help with a brake disc so I could have my first big day out on a bike at Bala with my 16year old daughter. They helped me out straight away and didn't charge because they felt it was too simple a task. So thanks One Planet. And it was a road bike too!
B. S.
I had a really positive experience with the staff here. I snapped my chain last week and the guys in the shop kindly dropped what they were doing and got me back on the trails as fast as they could. Top marks.
C. D.
Great place , a fiver to park and then fill your boots on the trail , the burgers cooking as we came back off the trail smelt irresistible , so we had one , they were lovely with fries too , we will be back , cheers
A. P.
Great trail centre. Good parking, fab cafe and shop. Awesome trails in even more awesome countryside.
S. W.
One of the best mountain bike centres in the UK.
J. R.
Fabulous biking centre for all abilities in a brilliant forest environment. Brilliant cafe with great locally sourced food and drinks. Also lovely place to walk your dog.
C. H.
Always a great day out. The perfect progression trails for mountain biking with something for everyone. Cafe is also top notch, eat all the cake.
T. E.
Lovely chilled cafe but sadly spoiled by grumpy staff who treat customers as if they are an inconvenience. Totally understand the added stress of covid restrictions.
M. T.
Great trail centre. Different from Coedy Brenin. This is less like mountain biking in the hills with mostly fast smooth trails. Much more man made. Lots of jumps, drop etc. Well worth a visit.
M.
amazing trails , blue good for any fit rider
toilets perfect
bbq perfect
parking just £5 all day
definitely visit again
T. J.
Awesome day out 👍🏼
N. H.
Recent visit nearly spoiled by a broken rear mech cable, Dave the beard sorted it in a couple of minutes, obviously experienced mechanic, knowledgeable bloke, knows his stuff. Great service, got me going in no time, and good food too 👍
Great trails, well worth a visit
P. j.
Visited the centre today clean and well presented food good staff friendly the trails great for all abilities would have been a great day but for one thing which has nothing to do with the place in question but to an self righteous young person about late twenties early thirties who saw fit to tell me that I should be riding not walking up a part of the track, now considering i'am 53 years of age and have just shed 7 stone and trying to get back in shape a throw away comment like that is not helpful but then again there is no accounting for ignorance or intelligence of some so called experts who have a higher fitness level than others.
So to those people who are trying to get back in shape don't be put off by this type of ill mannered individual keep at it and you will succeed will this incident put me off returning in a nutshell no it just needs to be said that rude and idiotic individuals need to be ignored just thought that this point needed to be raised because it could put off future visits by people who are trying to get in shape this review I must stress has no bearing on the staff or the centre which is great.
G. W.
Its a great place to ride and i ride there all the time but its a shame that its becoming the trail centre with the most litter! Come on people if you can carry it into the park please take it away and bin it!
H. S.
Brilliant place to go and ride a mountain bike ...Also offers something for families with walks and rides around the lake ...great cafe to chill in after your trip out .
a. b. a. m.
Trails are well maintained, great for learning to ride dh faster or jump further and higher, the more technical trails and features such as jj's and b-line are higher up the mountain and the easier trails such as the green, pump track and skills area are further down, food, shop and staff are great, if you want more detail I have a review on YouTube
S. T.
Love this place ! It's like our second home.... great trails in a beautiful location, followed by fab four and hospitality at the café !
S. J.
Great place to relax. We just went on one of the walks. About 2.5 miles through the forest.
G. T.
Went in the week during summer school hols and was very happy with the Covid systems they in place. A great day out, finished off nicely with great burgers.
A. J.
Excellent venue to do some quality mountain biking! Track for all abilities and for the whole family.
M. L. L.
Great bike shop and cafe, food well priced big portions and very tasty. The bike shop is well stocked staff extremely helpful and knowledgable, one of the best I have used across the Country
R. R.
Im a novice to trails and MTB. This was my second ride out. I thought ill start from bottom and work my way up so i completed the green and blue lines. All I can say is if youve not tried this. Its got to be a must on everyones bucket list. The place, The people, All 5 Stars!
m. m.
Decent trail but don’t touch the ragley marley hardtail with a barge pole. They should be giving danger pay out to anyone riding it.
C. M.
Brilliant cafe, shop and the trails... Oh the trails! Something for everyone - walk, run, cycles or shred 🤘
a. r.
Some really awesome new bits at last👍hats off to all involved it's well worth the 5quid for car park and amenities
N. C.
Great for all ranges of Mountain Biker from Novice to Expert. The on site facilities are amazing, the staff ultra-helpful and the food is top-notch.
p.
Loved my first taste of the bike tracks brilliant! Wish people walking would stick to their tracks bit dodgy meeting people as your flying down the track!!!
A. T.
Llandegla has mountain bike trails for all abilities and is great fun. The shop has friendly staff who provide great food and atmosphere.

C. T.
Great morning seeing the Black Grouse lek with RSPB here at 05:30am. Excellent "Welsh" full breakfast in the café after - shame about the thin weak coffee.
