Good butchers. Don't mind paying a wee bit extra for good quality goods. Good selection of raw and cooked foods, cakes and other items. Worth a look see. I buy fresh oxtail (have to order it in) and cook it using an Italian recipe which is far better and tastier than the British recipe.

Once again called into Boghall Butchers for steak & gravy pies along with other things. and they were Phenomenal. My husband & I love this butchers. Strawberry tart to die for. Going to keep my eye out for the Slices Garlic Sausage they are trying to get. 5 stars all the way best in West lothian *****

The best butchers I’ve ever been to!! This is our second time buying a steak pie from here and it was even better the second time around (I cooked it better). Their steak pie is the best I’ve ever had (even better than in Glasgow). Their customer service is great too, always very helpful. I will 100% be back. Also unlike some other reviews claim, I was not asked to leave feedback or given anything extra. I’m leaving this review totally of my own accord.

Popped in today to get some Steak Slice and Black pudding for my mate Dave who lives 260 miles away. Travelled all the way home, only to realise I'd forgotten the blooming Haggis. 😢 😕 Back on Tuesday 8th, same time. Great customer service lovely, proper hidden gem 💎 of a shop. Thank you.

The best butchers I've been too. We pre order our Christmas meat, every year. Sunday dinner pies and occasional lunch pie are absolutely amazing! Will take you time to work your way through all the pies though. Recently they started selling cheesecakes which again as amazing. There's nothing bad to say about this place.. well except get some outdoor seating to enjoy hot pies!

Great craft butcher, the pies and bakes are fantastic, cannot comment on ready meals as this is first time purchased, but they look great and will probably taste great if the pies are anything to go by. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a definite 5star

Originally from Livingston, now living in Surrey. Visited family end of August and this place was recommended. Bought a dozen scotch pies to take home with us. Absolutely delicious, lovely taste to the meat and the pastry is just perfect. Staff were friendly, Shop was immaculate. Everything you’d want in a local butchers. Will definitely revisit when we’re next up.

I ordered three items and tried only the the boneless lamb ... there are no words to describe it !!! Fantastic is not enough to say how good it was !!! Looking forward for the other two items, lean beef mince and lamb chops! The delivery was as promised fast and reliable!! I wish if goat and or veal was in the menu! Excellent local family butchers, great range of products and very helpful and pleasant staff. You may say that they are a little bit pricier than your supermarkets and cheaper alternatives but if you want quality then you get what you pay for.

I live in Boghall for over 22 years and never buy pies anywhere else only in Paul's butcher shop. Everything in the shop are excellent quality with good prices. My favourite are bridie and apple crumble....they are to die for...yummm

This was only the second time I've been to this shop and it will be our regular butcher from now on, we bought the steak pie it was delicious I'm drooling thinking about it we also got a bridie it was also delicious and it had meat in it something that is very rare in other shops, if you're driving along the m8 it's only 5minutes from junction 3A.
