Always great experience. Very friendly staff, very good quality meat. Our top one butcher in Birmingham. I am from Poland, love shopping at independent places as my family always did and it's a part of our tradition - supporting local businesses. The fact that you always get smile and friendly chat with the butchers is priceless.

its like going back to the good old days without supermarkets. having conversations with the sellers. the butchers in the shop are so friendly and helpful. I love going there. the have around 20 varieties of sausages. so many different cuts of meat , sauces etc.

Fantastic butcher's, bacon sausages are the best you can get. Free range chicken is lovely just a little pricey. Overall great butcher's.

I really struggled with how to put this but here goes. I have been eating white pudding since I was a child, from the days of the Rackhams food hall and going to Dublin for family holidays. The best I've had since is from another local butcher not far from here. I thought as I was passing the other day I'd ask if they sold it and give it a go... It appeared to be exactly the same in look and taste, however it was literally TRIPLE the price! I worry using the term "organic" is resulting in overpriced produce. So for that reason I can't bring myself to give any more than that. There seemed to be a nice sense of community and the guys were smart and seemed nice, but I wouldn't return at those prices especially when I can get the same quality for a third of the price just up the rd. I know the organic label is there and it's Bournville, but prices I feel are far too high. Good luck and I wish you well none the less.

I was putting together a hamper as a gift and wanted to include some quality fresh meat, so it was recommended that I try Rossiters. The team there were excellent and so helpful - the T-bone steaks and olive oil which they recommended were incredible. Great quality food - amazing meat and amazing customer service!

Made my first purchase a few days ago.. since they sell very little organic frozen meat, I had to just trust that the fresh organic meat was organic as they said since it does not come wrapped with the organic association logo on it. The owner seemed more knowledgeable on the organic stock which came from the room at the back. Not sure I can trust the other guys, they seemed a bit confused on their organic and free range stock which the owner clarified. I think next time I’ll call them before heading there to make sure Mr Rossiter is there ☺️

We are just relaxing after a wonderful Easter lunch, with the beautiful pork shoulder (and crackling!) from Rossiters. Tasty, juicy, just like pork should be. And the resulting gravy was splendid. Although we live two hours away, we cannot wait to return!

I have only ever had good tasting meat from this Butchers, and they stock a really great range of sausages, and seem reasonably priced compared to other quality butchers I have used in the past. Don't be put off by negative one word reviews, try it for yourself.

Visited Rossiters' in July 2014 after searching high and low for a good quality, organic butcher in our area. Steve served me personally, and was an absolute revelation! Chatty, cheeky and highly customer orientated, he was more than happy to let me take my time ordering, despite having a full shop of eager customers. He reminded me of the kind of butchers we had back when I was a child... I do not think Rossiters' prices are expensive, and you cannot deny or surpass the quality! In fact, we stopped by Tesco's on the way home to pick up milk, and realised it had just cost us less to by organic, freshly ground beef mince from Steve, than to buy Tesco's generic 'Irish' mince. How can you grumble at that? Having tried several products - from a whole chicken (which Steve gladly quartered for us on site) through their unbelievable gammon slices to their gluten free burgers, OH and I are amazed at the price and quality of Rossiters' produce. We tried a Welsh farm shop recently that delivers to the Midlands (due to a too good to be true Country File recommendation that you JUST have to follow up on!), and we went from being dismayed to utterly disgusted at the 'quality' of this 'pasture fed' establishment... Suffice to say, we are now going back to Rossiters' AND we intend to stick with them...
