J. P.A family friend had recommended that whilst we were in Scotland on holiday, we had to try a breakfast pie.
So we drove the 20 minutes from our hotel and got there just after opening.
Tragedy, no pies in stock! :(
However, the lovely lady behind the counter said that they could make some for me, if I was able to return later in the day.
So we came back in the afternoon, I was recognised immediately and the pies were handed over.
The verdict? Absolutely delicious! Lovely crispy pastry and the layers of treasure within were yummy. Highly recommended
