Reviews of Daylesford Organic

Always a treat and privilege to visit Daylesford, and a incredible journey from the 13+ years that I have been visiting to witness their steady growth and recent expansions. I really can't fault a single element of the layout and breathtaking interior design, such warmth and good taste - Daylesford is deffinately worth a visit at any date in the calender year

The whole place is amazing! Food was super yummy. Couldn’t get enough of their cocktails!
The staff are super friendly and everything is super clean. Dogs only allowed outside.
Got a blueberry bush that gave fruit for a long time this year :)
Great for gift buying and stocking up the food cupboards at home! Fresh veg section is lovely too. I can’t wait to go back.

Really enjoyed the food, we had breakfast and the menu looked and tasted great. The whole place is a lovely experience, lots of offer both foods and homewares. A great experience. Would love to check out the spa.

Wonderful restaurant serving organic food that can also be purchased in the farm shop. A gluten free diet was easily catered for and the food served is all healthy and extremely delicious. We ate in the lounge area, which is relaxed and comfy. We were also able to bring a dog in, who the staff were brilliant with. Reservations aren't taken for lunch, and so a queue forms before the restaurant opens.

First visit while in the area, recommended by one of the staff at the hotel we were staying at.
Obviously popular, this posh organic farm shop with cafe/restaurant (heaving with people!) and wellness centre has an upmarket style and ambiance. Walking round with considerable interest, we were surprised by the range of products in the bakery, fresh vegetables, dairy, chilled foods and cold drinks and pre-cooked meat sections. This was only the first area.
Drinks including wines, beers, ciders & spirits including a fairly large No & Low alcohol section. Honey of all sorts, nuts sold by weight , dietary and wellness supplements of all types, candles etc., etc. The list could go on and on!!!
Helpful, well turned out staff are on hand, should you need them. The customers....reflect the upmarket feel, in the main, confirmed by a quick look round the extensive car park on the way back to our car. More that usual electric car chargers and designated parking.
Honestly? I bought some beers for my son but otherwise thought the prices reflected the feel of the place. Possibly the poshest farm shop I've ever been to in the UK!!! Worth a look......
J.
Incredible place. Like nothing else I've experienced before. Went in thinking it would just be another farm shop but it was so much more. (Would definitely recommend the brownie tray bakes too).

We had a beautiful evening at Daylesford. Our waitress Denise was excellent. As a celiac diner, eating out is a tricky affair. Denise was very knowledgeable and kind. Excellent choices and delicious food. The best meal we have had for a while. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic farm shop, with garden & home store and cafe. Well stocked with fresh veg, bread, walk in cheese fridge, large deli counter and butcher. Wide range of preserves, beers etc. Nice to see zero waste station. Cafe and takeaway food available.

This farm is a destination place to spend a few hours. I visited with a friend.
Very high quality items for sale, organic food, ethical fabrics, etc.
Beautifully set up, decoration and ambience.
The food in the restaurant was outstanding (we shared a brie fondue with beetroot bread), great service.
Prices for food same as in any gastropub in the area, prices for goods in the shop were high, but top quality.
There are lots of workshops and also a floristry on site. Was told a swimming pool is being built in the spa.
I am not sure there is a lot for kids to do, but there were a few eating with families... I'd recommend this for couples, grownups, solo visitors.
They have shops in London.
Their website is very thorough.
Update Sept 2021
The store has changed layout a bit to accommodate covid restrictions, but still a great time to have.
There is a few outdoor seating areas, and saw a few courses and workshops coming soon.

Lovely grounds - had a really nice time here. Selection of local and longer walks to choose from that start and end here. Staff were friendly, great shops and the food looked excellent (gutted we didn’t try, but will put it on the list for next time)

I was there last Saturday for lunch with my family. We had a good time and good food. Thanks to Denise that took a good care of us we felt like home. She was a great host. We'll certainly be back.

Today I was able to see the new home store which is beautiful. I left a little disappointed however that the hot food kiosk at the front had run out of sausages and bacon rolls for breakfast. It looks a little silly that they would run out of the very thing they sell a few feet away. BUT we then stumbled across a lovely brunch place called The Hive, Stow-on-the-Wold instead and that was lovely

Daylesford was better than we imagined. I meet a friend at The Old Spot for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Beautiful food. We both had items from the specials which were fantastic. For a busy Sunday afternoon, we got a table within 10 minutes and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Browsing the farm shop and gift shop were a highlight. Amazing produce; perfect for a treat for home or great options for making a gift.
I will be back again with more friends and family.

Beautiful place with a lovely food, garden and home shop. We ended up buying some food from the deli and eating it on one of the lawns as the restaurant was so busy. There was a big queue for both restaurants and I’m not sure you’re able to book. It is quite pricey but you’re paying for the food quality and the beautiful environment. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
K. J.
The Emperors new clothes spring to mind. A nice place to spend an hour. The buildings all look beautiful and they are set in a lovely location. The car park is spacious. The buildings are so large that you do not feel at all overcrowded. The staff were all very helpful and polite. However, the goods for sale are ridiculously expensive. I realise that sustainable farming is not going to be cheap, but £95 for a wool headband???? The farm shop too was terribly overpriced.
All in all a nice place to spend an hour or two but we left feeling somewhat disappointed.
G. C.
Excellent selection of locally sourced produce as well as a number of other non-food departments. Decently stocked zero waste section at the rear of the store. Sadly there was no one around to serve us and given self service is not allowed, we left that department empty handed. Restaurant seating outside is mostly covered by large umbrellas which are good to keep out the odd downpour. Restaurant service was friendly enough but not very fast considering there were no more than 3 tables occupied outside.

This is what No Strawberries looks like at Dalesford. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Old Spot. Here is the dessert conversation. Us: we’d like the strawberries and cream. Waiter: we are all out of strawberries. This is the picture taken 15 minutes later at the front of the shop. There are more in the shop. Dalesford, Why are your staff lying about the food?
a. t.
Always enjoy our trips here to enjoy the delicious culinary delights from the vast exciting organic range. So many things to try from lovely range organic veg to delectable variety of wines and liqueurs. We especially liked the amazingly different tasty gins. We also love the new plastic free range. Must mention the cafe is superb the staff are the best.
A. R.
An outrageously pretentious money pump, selling hilariously overpriced but incredibly delicious organic everything. The eggs alone are worth a visit. Who knew they could taste like that?
Everything’s twee. Everything’s beautiful. Would 100% go again.
P. C.
This place is a lovely trip out and yesterday was a festive Christmas event with real Santa and real Reindeer. The car park is a who's who of quality motors and the offer is definitely up there with the best. More farm emporium than humble farmshop, there's something for everyone to buy and the food we ate was clean, well presented and reasonable value for money. Looking forward to another visit.
A. C.
Really loved it here, beautiful location, great produce, tasty food at the restaurant and lovely coffees in the courtyard. Would say it was quite busy when we visited and social distancing wasn’t really in place although there was a queue to get in and a one way in system. Would recommend for the location and food! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
G. W.
Impressive layout, and collection of organic produce, something for everyone and great dining options also.
K. C.
Decent place in Cotswold area. This is a decent place that combines restaurant, farm shop and cooking class together. The food here is very nice and ingredient quality is very good. I recommend chicken breast, which goes well with garden cocktail.
P.
Visited the shop and restaurant. Both were excellent. Lots of choice in the excellent farm shop. Expensive? Yes, but if you want cheap then you can choose to go somewhere else. This is a high-end, top quality facility and you have to pay for that. Customer service was excellent too. My wife and daughter dined with me at the restaurant and we all had a great meal. Again, service was of the highest order and friendly. Keep up the good work.
B. C.
Beautiful building, lots of space to browse, produce is good. Coffee is excellent as are baked goods. Would recommend visiting when less busy. Can't wait to get bar food and browse household items.
P. S.
Large store with plenty of home decorations, food, plants, and even a restaurant with a beautiful garden.
During the holiday season, the store is nicely decorated with lots of Christmas specific decorations and it looks lovely.
The prices are on the expensive side, but they do have organic, quality products. After Christmas they do offer a variety of discounts so it might a better time if you’re looking to buy.
E. A.
Great place to shop with wonderful cheese section!!!
S. J.
Visited this place for an event being hosted there by a third party. There are some mixed reviews on here, but I have to say that I was very impressed. This farm shop really has pushed the boat out ...it's like John Lewis/Waitrose on steroids....yes pricey.... but everything really looks the best of the best. Beautiful butchery, beautiful cheese counter and many, many more locally sourced and organic goods. I came home with a selection of cheeses which were all excellent. I found the staff to be very personable (especially for 8pm on a Friday night). I noticed that they have a Michelin starred restaurant on site, which I wandered into just to have a nosey. The maitre d' was straight out wanting to show me around and show me the menu. Nothing was too much trouble. Would I come here again? Yes definitely. You don't always get what you pay for in these types of places, but I think in this case the tag is deserved. 😊

Great collection of artisanal local produce!
T. a. K. R.
Super fun place to go and have lunch and explore all the fun things they have to offer. Cooking classes, lots of food and kitchen items. Most of their items are eco-friendly. Their restaurants offer specialty items for vegans, gluten free etc just need to ask.
S. M.
Lovely farm shop with extremely helpful and polite staff. But this place is very expensive. It's a treat, really. But they do have lots of interesting products that you can't find elsewhere. Worth a visit!
I particularly like the home section of the shop. Lots of fun treats for dogs too. But I don't believe dogs are allowed inside.
M. P.
Smart café and shop. Staffed by young local people. Nice outdoor seating area. Coffee was rather average.
G.
First visit to this farm shop. Very nice environment but little thought for disabled access. The toilets have steps from the courtyard and access door from inside had a large tree in a pot blocking access. Not good. Had to wait for heavy pot to get dragged out of the way. Confusing layout. Purchased lunch but nowhere to sit. Again law area with seating was not accessible for wheelchair users.
P. M.
Had such a lovely time here. Everything is done beautifully and the staff are excellent. Would highly recommend a visit.
A. P.
Great place to visit! First went to The Old Spot and had terrific jerk chicken wings followed by half a Reuben toastie and half a pulled pork wrap. We did have to wait 20 minutes to get a table but it was not a problem sat on a comfortable sofa in front of a copy of Daylesford farm lifestyle book, Nurture.
After lunch we walked around the farm shop which is more of a farm supermarket followed by the homeware part. This place is not to be missed if visiting the Cotswolds.
L. B.
Beautiful place would love to come back for lunch . Especially liked the look of the pizza oven. Purchased some prosecco for home was just OK. Defo worth a visit although I was a little disappointed as I thought all veg would be grown locally yet I believe I spotted a Lancashire cauliflower.Absolutely stunning surroundings. Lastly perhaps they could do with a slightly lower price pointed candle. For gifts .
K. H.
A must visit when in the Cotswolds area! We spent hours here, sampling farm to table food at the restaurant, picking up some organic produce items for dinner, and perusing the gorgeous retail shop! 10/10 recommend!
A. H.
Stunning shop and cafe with attentive staff. Gorgeous interior. The company are on point with healthy trending food. How can you make a chicken bone broth taste good.... well they did! Delicious! I can’t wait to return.
J. E.
For some, this might be a tad too boujee and ooze hints of elitism. For a weekend away in the Cotswolds, however, this cannot be missed. Clean, sophisticated and aiming to go above and beyond, Daylesford really does tick all the boxes. The car park will give you a sense of the clientele before you even enter the farm - Defenders, Jaguars and Maseratis litter the forecourt.
The coffee was top notch, the home grown venison pappardelle was outstanding and the interior furnishings for sale were exquisite ij their own right. An easy place to spend an entire afternoon wandering and dreaming of future homes. Just be prepared to go with a fat wallet if you intend to purchase anything. An attraction not to be missed.
S. C.
Best service provided by Maria, incredibly kind and professional, always helping us out with our welcome packs deliveries at Spring Cottage. Great service for our guests too!
We feel so lucky to have Daylesford Organic close to us. I’m recommending their products and their service to everyone!
G. N. (.
What a fantastic place. Very nice homeware, garden, food and drink. But very expensive! Have to agree with other reviews, car park is like an exclusive showroom. Bentley, Aston Martin, Range Rovers etc. All give the impression of the target audience. If you are rich it's brilliant, but if not then it's nice to spend a couple of hours wishing.
D. V.
Quality comes at a price here for sure. Good to see such a variety in a 'farm shop' though it's much more of an upmarket designer store with restaurant and a spa.
We saw a baby jumper for £300 and a baby cap at £90. So that sets the tone. Lots of handmade items plus antiques for sale.
Food market is brilliant, all organic. And the cheese room has a sensory overload when you walk in. Not much outdoor seating space though.
S. H.
Beautiful place. Amazing produce and really lovely walks.
G. S.
Really enjoyed our visit- a nice welcome at front of house, great selection of food either to eat in or take away, lovely flowers, plants, homeward. We didn't try it on this visit but there are some nice treatments available. Well worth a visit. 5*
M. P.
No jaunt thru the Cotswolds should be complete without a stop to Daylesford Farmshop. Pick up something to eat from their food hall and chow down outside or on the go. Have a sit in their cafe. Take a seat in their very relaxing bar patio area (especially the indoor couch spots!), or dine in their main dinning room. Wherever you are and whatever you order you’re going to love it. It was one of the best dinning experiences I have ever had in my entire life. Cannot wait to return. Sadly I don’t live in the UK so I will keep dreaming of a return!!
E. T.
Lot of different food and well looked after place. Very tidy and good parking. Bacon roll and coffee top quality
A. K.
Wonderful place to visit in the Cotswolds. This is basically Daylesford world - a compound of various delights including restaurants, a bar, food market, home and garden store and even a spa. All top quality and organic as you'd expect from Daylesford. Save your pennies before you come and indulge yourself.
C. S.
Very nice and cosy place. You can buy almost anything for the house, from food to decorations and even gifts! A bit pricey but worth it to spend a day there.
D. N.
We attended a cooking course here last Sunday and were looked after by Chefs James (big James) and Ione. We were a crowd of 14 and therefore not an easy class! We arrive slightly and late they did not mind at all they were completely flexible and utterly accommodating. We made fabulous starters, main course and pudding and James even spent the time to share some quirky extras that we asked about - like how to poach an egg successfully. We learnt very useful cooking and knife skills. We overran by quite a bit but again they didn’t mind and didn’t even mention it. Ione gave us really interesting tour of the organic garden and we learnt all about the history of Daylesford and about the farm and all of its attributes. The day was utterly perfect, we had delicious wines and oils all from Daylesford or places connected to Daylesford. The day was perfect, lots of laughs and lots of learning. A fabulous fabulous experience that I highly recommend. It is A MUST DO experience.
R. E.
Happened to be there on the day of a festival. Great entertainment. Food was delicious. Lots of activities for kids. Happily spent 5 hours here without even realising it had been that long.
M. B.
What a nice afternoon there! Next time we will visit the farm where they grow all the vegs (you have to book for that)
But the shop is so cute, full of great food and there is a café, 2 restaurants. Amazing place!
C. S.
Very well presented, lovely place. Farm to fork ethos is admirable. Most of the staff were warm and polite a couple were a little snooty however.
D. A.
A lovely lively pitstop for a very tasty lunch in the Cotswolds, with great service, followed by a walk in tranquil surroundings. Highly recommended.
M. S.
Love this place and a brilliant healthy, delicious lunch with family.
J. F.
Beautiful surroundings and well attended-to by friendly staff. Every effort has gone into making everything they sell environmentally friendly and ethical from start to finish. We has coffee and cake - all packaging was compostable. My cake was gluten free and you wouldn't be able to distinguish it from one containing gluten, very impressive.
K. W.
Lovely place. Absolutely beautiful. The staff there ur so kind , lovely and helpful, I love everything in this shop. Even better that it's in the countryside and organic. I also love the fact that they have Electric Charging pods. The new garden area is lovely too.
p.
Lovely farm shop & really friendly, helpful staff. I decided to go Organic a couple of weeks ago for health reasons & my body is thanking me for it already. Food actually tastes like food again! I tried a local pub meal the other night at a favourite venue and didn't enjoy it at all my taste has totally changed!
Ok, expensive, but I think you have to say 'compared to what?' There is no comparison when it comes to how their animals are treated.
Total lifestyle change. Health is more important than money.....
J. P.
Friendly staff, gorgeous goods and food and very aesthetically pleasing!
A. N.
Lovely location.
We were three of us. The other two had the smoked haddock omelet. It was magnificent. I had the cod loin. It was really good but not as good as the omelet.
Very friendly and efficient staff. The lady who waited on us was brilliant.
I would return for the food and try other dishes.
Great walks around for dogs and the place is very dog friendly.
r. e.
Lovely farm shop that you could easily spend a couple of hours strolling around, grabbing some food, and purchasing some lovely proper produce.
Only giving it 4 stars because both my Eggs Royale and partner's Eggs Benedict came up with over-cooked poached eggs, whereas I'd expect a Michelin star restaurant to get a poached egg bang on. Even with that in mind, we had a lovely breakfast and came away with plenty of purchases.
S. T.
Obsessed with this place! Amazing meal had at one of the restaurants and fun shops that are perfect for holiday shopping/fun to just window shop.
D.
Food was great! Well seasoned and super tasty! Love the farm and had a great time to learn some new cooking skill! The shop was far too busy and there were a long queues.
K. x.
I have to agree with one of the comments about 'Land Rovers and Porches standing outside' - this seems to be the case in England, whenever something is nice to look at/is looked after, then it is only for the elites. I absolutely loved the style and interiors of this place, but even coming from London, I can't help but cry a little at these prices! Just as a little comparison, a kilogram of organic prunes costs £20 here, when you can easily find the same online for £10 (organic too).. I wonder how many of the local people actually shop there :)
V. l.
First time visitor to this establishment and very pleasantly impressed, great array of organically sourced or produced items in a well thought-out building.
J. L.
Amazing place! Fantastic restaurant with CBD / botanical infused drinks and teas. Cute farm/flower shop and clothing boutique as well. Will definitely be back!
R. M.
Amazing spa, food and location! Lovely shop, relaxing indoor or outdoor dining, great staff!
D. W.
Full of great organic food and drinks, beautiful place and warm & very friendly staff.
I. P. H. L.
Amazing shop. Amazing place. Beautiful. Big car park. Lots of different products for sale. Just a bit overpriced.
W. B.
Excellent if a little pricey. Some items couldnt find many of eg biscuits for cheese.
V. R.
I've eaten in the restaurant before; a charming, airy space & delicious food! Recently ordered food for home delivery. Great produce, so thoughtfully packaged - & v. helpful staff. So happy I remembered to look up Daylesford online: how could I have forgotten!

Lovely organic fruit and vegetables
J.
Stylish 'farmshop'.... Lots of excellent gargen homeware etc. Expensive but never disappointed with purchases.
S. Y.
Nice farm shop. They sell a lot of type of things.
Nice outside courtyard area.
Foods are good but pricy. There are plenty of parking space.
V. B.
Lovely place for a wander. Exquisite fresh veg and cheese counter. Was especially lovely at christmas time. Can highly recommend their pizza bar too. Well worth a visit. Even just for a coffee!

Wild and foraged at Daylesford Cookery School
James and his team delivered a fantastic day which following a hearty and healthy breakfast at the Farm Shop before joining, started with a cuppa and intro leading to a guided and informative foraging stroll through the Daylesford a estate. During the walk we received tips and lessons on foraging, the wonders of nature’s larder and of course amazing recipes utilising seasonal foraged ingredients. After refreshments in the great outdoors, some of which were the result of James and his teams previous foraging efforts, we returned to the farm.
Upon our return to the incredibly well equipped kitchen with a number of ‘bake-off’ style stations, James lead us through the foundations of kitchen safety and skills before demonstrating the meals that we were to prepare, one dish at a time. In pairs we were then supported through the prep and cooking of each dish before returning to the central dining-island to enjoy the combination of our mornings foraging trophies and our lessons in cooking, as a group with great conversation all washed down with a glass or two of wines from the overseas Bamford estates. Delicious.
A fantastic day with both memories, skills and a taste for wild foods that will last a lifetime. We will be back.
Thanks again guys.
Cheers.
M. G.
Lovely place to look around but expensive prices and a long queue for the restaurant. Would recommend Burford Garden Centre more highly
B. P.
Lovely outdoor space and beautiful, fresh good. Amazing range of unusual drinks. With heaters, hot water bottles and cover, it is perfect for a spring meal al fresco.
C. S.
Lovely shop. Got it all. Will be back.
Just need to make sure I remortgage before I go next time.
Ps. Spot the Range Rover game is too easy.
K. L. S.
Beautiful fresh and organic food, well worth the price. Wonderful friendly staff and ambiance
C. H.
Set in the beautiful Cotswolds everything done here is to that level. Yes it's expensive but you truly get everything of the highest quality
A. M.
Cyclists unwelcome, although parking is available but this is an odd place. Organic apparently, but hardly sustainable given the food miles and carbon emissions in the car park. Unexceptional tea from the car park shepherds hut, but very friendly server there compared to the rude security guard handing out baskets
M. P.
Although it's cold outside, it's lovely and warm here. We took the dog for a quick lunch break from work at home. The fire pit was well stoked, the coffee was good and the toasties were tasty. The dog even got a walk around the site too.
Dogs are allowed in the outside areas, which makes sure everyone gets to enjoy themselves.
The staff were clearly following covid guidance and so were most of the customers. We felt safe here.
E. A.
I'm not skint but the prices here are absolutely ludicrous for the most basic items. Makes wholefoods seem like lidl in comparison. If you want to set fire to a 20 for a salad it's a must go-to!
P. W.
In depth and sustained commitment to quality Organic Products and Services by a British company. Knowledgeable and passionate people.
S. R.
Outstanding customer service from the online food delivery team. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their online grocery shopping experience from start to finish. Really impressed.
B. P.
This place is a must, everything is amazing except bread. We bought bread from the bakery to take home and ordered pastry from the restaurant but neither was good, which we thought was strange as everything else was on point. It’s also expensive but to be expected, I guess.
T. S.
Superb food, excellent service and all at a reasonable price. 99% of the food is organic and the restaurant is superb.
M. S.
Produce is fantastic, and the farm is really nice to walk around. Restaurant setting is amazing but the actual food was surprisingly poor.
I had the burger, which was pretty dry and flavourless, my partner had a salad which was poorly seasoned and plain. I get that they're trying to use produce from the farm but you still have to nail the fundamentals.
Adding a slice of locally grown, organic beetroot to a really average burger doesn't make much of a difference. Also, why serve a burger with crisps? I'm not 12. If you want to do something instead of chips do crispy roasted/fried potatoes.
C. S.
Great selection of fresh and organic food. Plus gifts etc.
W. &. P.
A wonderful place to be. Buying produce here, is buying good health for you and your family. A huge range of beautiful food, artisan bread and cake. Amazing fresh fish and meat. Think Waitrose on a personal scale, but more expensive. I'd rather pay more for meat and eat less. Knowing the animals have been well cared for start to finish really helps when trying to choose a more ethical, sustainable way of eating. This is no ordinary farm shop.
D. N.
Nice place good place shop thank you for year. This water over briged put of kingham thought share with you happy new year all best 2021
D. C.
Should have been better...
What a beautiful place but the team and French manager had not got a grip today - had to get up and get my own sugar for my coffee, a Pan Au Chocolate took 50 mins and 25 mins to pay a bill.
Probably an ‘off’ day?
K. M.
Vast range of fabulous products but can be very pricey
K. F.
This place is everything you could imagine in a garden center! The shop is adorable and you could spend a good hour or so wandering. We ate at the restaurant and food was good, but not what we expected for the price. Meals started at 12 pounds and portions were small. Very much a lofty vibe to this place, so you definitely pay a premium. Good for a one time experience, but I probably wouldn’t go back.
D. B.
Nice place, a bit pricey, but I think that is to be expected of this sort of place. We love the lamb from here.
H. L.
Fascinating place much bigger than expected. Deli items, dedicated chill room for cheeses, lots of different foods, clothes, toiletries, furniture, children's toys, household items and lots more. Beautifully laid out and garden area lovely. Plenty of parking.
Excellent quality of food and goods. Downside is how expensive it is so alot of browsing done and not so much buying. Coffee is very good but again about £4.50 a mug. Slice of cake in cafe about £5 so feel that is far too much so would only return as an absolute treat.
Bought some Cotswold runny honey pricey for a smallish jar at nearly £7 but the best honey I've ever tasted. Nice gift ideas. If I have an injection or money would definitely treat myself to their beautiful spa!
Still had a pleasant morning out. Best to arrive early as best cafe area near fire with comfier chairs and nice views over garden gets full in winter and you have to sit in harder chairs in restaurant area.
Not given 5 stars because of expense and service in cafe very slow. We only had coffee. A family and a couple were served before us so we had to wait and I found service rather perfunctory.
M. M.
Fantastic large parking area to give access to the many walks through the estate, so we visited a couple of times whilst on holiday in the location, BUT, neither the cafe nor the outside drinks cabin had decaffeinated tea! Such a disappointment for an organic place!
B. D.
A good but very, very expensive shop. I bought a voucher as a gift online and was charged almost £7 to have it delivered ! It could have been posted via Royal Mail for a lot less or there could be the option of printing it at home for free.

Such a fabulous building to wander around. Lovely but expensive home and gifts area. Cheese room especially novel and interesting. However I agree with some reviewers who find the whole set up a bit pretentious and stereotypically middle class. Who spends nearly £6 on a loaf of bread? The fruit and veg are way over priced too...some of which have seen fresher days. The menus are quite pricey and although we didn't eat there, it didn't look like the portion sizes reflected the prices. Lovely coffee bar but why no sandwiches or snacks for those not wishing to partake of the expensive lunch menu? Nice place but think it caters for a niche market. Staff friendly enough but a bit distant.
A. C.
Often pop in for coffee and the farm shop. Lovely atmosphere, and very friendly. Can get a bit busy, especially noticable with current restrictions, so worth avoiding peak times if you can.
T. G.
Hidden Gem. Highly thought out, visually stunning, ethically friendly Lifestyle - one stop shopping. Food, drink, gifts, home, flowers, plants. Clothing, Spa.
J. D.
Having medical treatment at moment. Had lunch there today and this is the first time in several months I've been able to taste the food I've eaten.congrats chef(s)
M. K.
Great elegant place, fantastic products, good staff, nice for walks with dogs .
Tiny bit overpriced, pizza way too thin. Italians wouldn’t approve that 😳
H. F.
Visiting Daylesford is like stepping into the ultimate luxury in terms of retail. The vegetables which greet you are vibrant, the cheese chamber and the deli both divine. Stepping round (and upstairs) to homewares, its one of those shops that shows you what your fridge, your kitchen and your home needs.
J. B.
It is a good visit on a sunny day. The surroundings are beautiful and the farm itself stunning. Everything is very clean and I have visited for years so I can tell it has gone through major renovations. Everything is much bigger than it used to be. I like the organic selection of products though they are on the expensive side. From milk to eggs, to cheese, to olives and bread, to wines and beverages. There is also a few restaurants with different menus, from pizza to more sophisticated dishes. A bit expensive yes. It could be a little bit more affordable. There is also a spa and a clothing and flower shop. I do recommend but expect to spend your money!
T. C.
Interesting place to visit and have a look around, there is a good selection of food, drink and household goods. Prices here are relatively high, but the quality of the products generally comes through. We had a couple of items from the deli & bakery sections, all were very good with exception of the apple muffin which was a dry & bland.
F. A.
Love this place, the products are tasty and fresh. Imaginative product with trusted combination and some bold ones that work amazingly. The cheese room has fresh yummy blocks both local and international. Prices slightly higher than non organic of course but worth it for your taste buds as well as your health. Try the jams and cheese, bread and cakes and you will get what I mean.
A. S.
Foodie heaven. I personally found it overpriced and their range was quite depleted for 4pm on a Saturday.
P. A.
Don’t expect your standard garden centre, this is high end stuff. Re mortgage the house before you go, but it is well and truly worth it. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the produce is bespoke. Make sure you have plenty of time as you have a choice of two restaurants, both to a very high standard, a large food hall, a spa and more. Highly recommend.
A. R.
Their produce and approach to sustainability is unmatched and their shop looks just stunning. Hence I had high expectations for their cafe/restaurant too. The vegan burger was tiny and lacked flavour, it tasted like a beetroot mash, the turmeric chicken was dry and overpriced too. All in all, such a meltdown. Their salmon starter was delicious though.
J.
We visited Daylesford Farm restaurant for lunch and we enjoyed the whole experience. Yes, the food products are overpriced and discouraging from shopping. Also the home and beauty shop was totally overpriced. I agree with previous reviews that the food portions were small and also overpriced plus not that super tasty either. But the whole place is lovely with organic and eco feel to it. After the lunch we went to the other part to have a coffee which was delicious. It is a joy for the eye and occasionally we will pop in in the future. In terms of service we had a lovely waitress helping us, she was new to the restaurant and passionate about everything. She looked after us very well.
s. a.
Delicious organic breakfast and fresh food.
J. G.
Beautiful new environmentally friendly garden centre with a great selection of cut flowers as well. Inspiring garden furniture and furnishings.
A. F.
Definitely more than just a farm! must visit. thank you guys
A. L.
Really lovely farm shop and cafe with lovely local produce but unfortunately they are running one of the worst one way systems ever, entered through the main shop doors and walked out to their terrace to get a coffee, was then no longer allowed back inside to the farm and home shop, had to exit and reenter but by this time there was a 15min queue to get in to a place I was technically already in? No clear sign posting to indicate there was a no re-entry policy. They claimed to be monitoring the number of people in the shop but there was no communication between front end and outside staff so is unclear as to how that is entirely possible.. really affected my experience and wouldn't bother making the journey again
B. B.
Amazing. After having left the Diddy Squat due to the insane que stepped inside the poshland. Lovely staff, nice coffee, worth the trip.
D. D.
Lovely place. Food is good not cheap but worth it.
M. J.
Today was a catch up with my daughter for brunch. As always the staff were attentive and the food good, though the menu was reduced. The wonderful quality which I admire is that as they expand they lose nothing of the original atmosphere nor does it change the fabric of the building or it lose its heart. The key 'tics' are in place. Looking forward to a proper shop it's been to long.
h. k.
We love heading here for a meal and a poke around the shop. They have everything from farm produce to home goods, plus the spa and small hotel (and our daughter loves the toy selection and the animals on the farm). Their seasonal festivals are a fun day out with loads of activities and good food.
R. R.
Absolutely beautiful place, food was stunning.
n. G.
A great place to visit with some lovely organic food and drink. Also some beautiful wares for your home.
M. C.
A lovely place to both eat and shop. While the store is expensive the produce is fantastic and offers a great selection.
We had lunch in the glass conservatory and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had 3 children in our group. I had the beef blade special for lunch and it was delicious.
I have a Tesla and there is electric car charging capabilities, slow, but every bit helps.
A. H.
Gorgeous place. Really tasty produce, and they have a restaurant and pizza bar. Lovely crispy bases and really delicious. Do go if you're up there an experience you will enjoy if you love food and if ya don't!
K. T.
Lovely place to visit with no queues or mud. Good cafe and wide variety of things for sale.
D. W.
Delicious breakfast . Slow service despite the fact that there were only a few people there. The staff were pleasant . Food freshly cooked . Good choice of good quality organic food .
Got some nice produce from the shop.
Excellent quality produce hence the prices.
P. M.
Love it!, if you you like Deli and Organic foods this place is fantastic, beautifully styled and lots of amazing products that I've never seen before. We purchased some lovely wine and steak and weren't disappointed. If you like quality food this is the place to go....we'll be back very soon.
M. S.
Carole Bamford's masterpiece. Garden centre by Harrods. You just feel great to be there. The Daylesford brand is very strong.
A. B.
Great farm shop, food/drink all looked wonderful. Cafe had a good menu; staff all recommended the burger, which we had but the bun was dry - disappointing. The chocolate nemesis for pud however was the best thing I have eaten in a while!
A. -.
Incredible shop & although we didn't eat there, the food + drink looked fantastic. The farm shop (food bit) was amazing, we especially likes the chilled, walk-in cheese room. Plus all the fresh cut flowers!
J. P.
A favourite albeit over priced, didn't enjoy my cake, wrong choice, toasted sandwich was excellent and great coffee. A little wait but a smooth entrance operation 😊
J. S.
The cafe just seems to be getting steadily worse, nearly fine dining prices but the food is very uninspiring. The ambience is great but if you pay 18 pounds for a main course you want attention to detail and something delicious not dry chicken and inedible squash, which was what we were treated to today. Must try harder.
G. J.
Daylesford is a beautiful place and well worth a visit, it's beautifully presented and they have some really lovely organic produce, however it is eye wateringly expensive, we had breakfast there my partner had the vegan breakfast for £14 which consisted of 1 tomato, 1 mushroom, 1 baby beet, 2 sticks of broccoli. (honestly), we also saw a plain blue canvas shopping bag for £72 or a 2"candle for £65 for example, but we bought staple stuff eggs, milk, bread, cheese etc that were all fairly priced for high quality poduce. Deffo worth a visit if you appreciate good quality fresh food.
P.
What a magical place.
R. S.
Great atmosphere, warm and inviting with open fires and probably the best tasting food I've had in a long time. Every dish we had was delicious. All the ingredients organic and full of flavour. No comparison to other restaurants who don't have the ingredients to work with. Well worth the drive from London.
R. M.
Good parking, fantastic array of door and other products attractively displayed in a barn like setting. Very good food in restaurant. Some of the organic veg looked a bit tired and sad, however. Beware: very pricey!
B. J.
Great selection of local beers. Thanks for the tasters, guys
T. H.
Such a lovely farm and with the most amazing farm shop.
Happily come here everytime we visit the Cotswolds.
P. V.
This is all about quality and premium doesn't even describe it. A great venue with lots of unique products in the heart of the Cotswolds. If you are someone who looks at the pricing ticket before buying it might not be for you. Even a cup of coffee carries a service charge!
A.
Bespoke organic garden centre with excellent dining options . Great place for a bite on a sunny day
R. B.
Whimsical and wonderful organic farm shop - with beautiful decor and almost every variety of fruit and veg to be seen, it makes for a lovely day out. Almost like a fantasy, weakened only by the fact that the prices are unreal too! TL; DR picture perfect but very expensive
S. K.
What a amazing place , pricey but treat yourself
S. G.
It was amazing beautiful setting. The butchery and deli were great. lots to see as we were there for the harvest festival wish I'd known how great it and the French brocante area were going to be as I would have got there earlier
L. B.
Daylesford is a place of true authenticity, variety and organic culinary excellence.
G. A.
Love this place. Set in beautiful country side. I go to Daylesford farm shop for a bit of shopping, they have a small courtyard for outside eating part of the restaurant, but limited seating. Mum & I enjoyed brunch.but don't be in a hurry they get extremely busy. there is also a coffee van if that's all you wanted. Treat yourself to a beauty treatment while there.
M. T.
Such beautiful setting and ambience every centimetre shines. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
C.
Definitely worth visiting and staying for a meal ❤️

We love Daylesford Farm in Notting Hill and decided to stop at the actual farm. Beautiful location, the store is amazing but what a disappointment was our dining experience compared to the one in a London.
The staff was unfriendly, not attentive and unhelpful especially the manager.
We were served the wrong cocktails that the waiter himself could not figure out.
We ordered the grilled apricot dish as a starter and were served nectarines instead that were as hard as rocks and not roped. We were not told apricots were not available. The ribs were dry and flavorless and we skipped dessert because we were just so disappointed.
We will go back to shop and have a coffee but not dine again.
A. S.
Great produce, beautiful grounds and amazing events
z. e.
Lovely place to browse and pick up treats but you will need deep pockets for most things here. All stock carefully curated and very desirable but mostly I just pick up some wonderful ideas, so always worth dropping in. Bought a few items this morning, then had a coffee, which was way below what I was expecting. Two flat whites and neither of them tasted of anything much more than warmed milk. As we paid at the till, I mentioned how weak they were but got no particular response and didn’t stop him adding 60p service charge. Disappointing.
J. P.
Daylesford is quite the location. Great for locals and foodies traveling. The store is impressive! Huge selection of locally sourced, organic foods. The dinner my husband and I enjoyed was delicious—tomato salad, lamb burger, pizza, local beer, and kombucha. We ended the time with a beautiful cup of tea (enjoyed inside). We also bought some delicious cheese and crackers. The cheese must be tried! So delicious.
The baked items need some attention. We would have bought bread, but there were many flies around. We bought a wrapped apple bread to enjoy for breakfast but unfortunately it was terrible and was thrown away after just one taste. Those were the only issues for -1 star. Overall, a beautiful location and visit. Love the mission and vision of Daylesford and would certainly return!!
F. S.
Daylesford farm is a good looking place, organic farm shop with produce, gifts etc cafe & restaurant... But the Big let down is the hyper inflated prices for everything especially the produce £2.49 for a cauliflower when I can get two for £1 from our local market gardeners! It's sadly just way too expensive!
H. R.
Really nice but with a price tag to match. Lovely setup. Food looks amazing and beautifully presented. Has a couple of ev charging points. Also has cottages for accommodation.
M.
Visited the farm shop on a weeks break in the Cotswolds whilst staying at lodges near by and was very surprised at the large selection of produce available from local sources and further afield.
Fruit, veg and meat picked up that tasted great with no complaints on the quality if the products.
Amazing cheese selection with a dedicated room piled fill of many cheeses....a cheese lovers delight.
Staff were amazingly friendly even taking the time to point out some local places to visit for lunch and dinner.
If you are visiting the area or staying for a vacation this place is well worth a visit.
P. T.
I liked it but would refrain from giving it 5 stars as it came across as a bit too exclusive. I have never felt like I didn't quite belong somewhere but this place was so full of upper middle class lushs that even I felt slightly awkward. The waiting staff were so posh that i felt like I should be serving them. Food was very nice but everything was expensive. There was this antique shop type area that had the most outrageously priced old stuff. For example, a reclaimed, but extremely tatty miniature rocking horse that was going for about £900. I had to take photos just to record it. Amazing. Anyway....despite that I would probably go back again for the experience. And maybe wear my best wax jacket and top hat. ...:)
A. L.
Really nice place, great food (to eat there and take home). Lots of things to buy in the shops, had some stuff on for the kids. Family enjoyed it. Don't forget to go in the Porsche though, wear the Barbour and take the Labrador - it's that type of place...
A. G.
This place is so amazing!! Foodie heaven!!
D. L.
The place is beautiful, the food products delicious and the home stuff is amazing. Everything overpriced but according to a place like this.
The problem is that the place is overcrowded and they don’t take bookings for lunch time so we had to wait half an hour to get a table. The lunch was delicious and the price was ok. Will definitely come back on a normal week day.
T. L.
Great place for people watching but not for real food shopping because their prices are high. Unless you look out for 30% off items, otherwise, speak to your bank manager before you set foot in this place. The restaurant is a bit of a joke because it is always full (you wonder why) and once sat, the menu is limited and the food very mediocre. I wondered (out loud) if the kitchen uses the same ingredients that the store sells??? Because the quality is chalk and cheese. Perhaps this is the Costowlds syndrome? You pay to look at something?
D.
Look, it’s crazy expensive but if you’re good with that then it’s high quality produce. The car park appears to be sponsored by Range Rover and the clientele are exactly as you would expect. Personally, I wouldn’t go back, but if you love a farm shop, and you want to experience the most exclusive of them all, then here’s the place.
S. S.
Top quality organic food. Expensive, very expensive, but a great selection of great cheeses and meats. Interesting homewares and an excellent restaurant. Many people come to have work meetings was my impression also! Highly recommended.
N. S.
Worth a visit as it's more than just an expensive shop. Although it's ridiculously overpriced, you may find the odd gift for friends amongst the more exotic produce, although several of the exact same items (eg cheeses that aren't their own brand) available at far more reasonable prices in regular supermarkets.
If you're going for a bite to eat it's worth booking. The wait to be seated for coffee or the divine hot chocolate and cakes can be pretty long, but if you're happy to sit outside, they do take out hot drinks. It's a good refueling stop for those on a hike nearby.
A. G.
Love love love the farm food store. I was visiting cotswold and stopped in to visit the shop. Picked up some goodies to take back home- jam, honey, pasta sauce - cupboard items if I lived locally I would have much more of their fresh produce. Also stayed for lunch. The menu is small but good balance and sufficient options. I loved the concept of ordering a main and choice of 2 salads/ sides. We ordered the lamb and venison with asian slaw tuscan potatoes and wild rice. Portions are generous food is incredibly fresh. Worth the visit whether you're a local or just passing through cotswolds.
M. P.
Wonderful large complex for everything organic. Well worth a visit if you like organic produce. Recommended. There is also a Tesla EV charging point here. We will be coming back next time we are in the area.
E. M.
Lovely place to visit, good quality produce. The big problem for me was seeing flies settling on all the fresh foods. All over the bread, it was awful. They must get a cabinet or something to keep these disgusting flies off foods.
T. W.
Went for tea today. Great service and children-friendly. Well designed and fitted-out farm shop and eatery with clean, sensible toilets and large car park. Popular place, good quality food but certainly not cheap. Cars in the car-park like-wise.
w. a.
Ordered online and received a paypal receipt but no further correspondence from the company. After a week I emailed to check the details of the order and that it was actually being processed, but didn't receive a reply. So, emailed via Paypal and no response. Eventually called me but not the paypal escalation, still not answered that within the usual timescale. Very polite and helpful on the phone, eventually got my items but the process is rather haphazard and clear points of communication are absent.
V. D.
The staff were friendly and helpful but the food section seemed overpriced and focused more on the latest food fads and exclusivity. Plenty of items I'd like to have tried but the value for money area of my brain kicked in and I just couldn't do it. Kefir is great but not at that price!
Viv Davis
J. G.
very lovely venue, offering everything organic. make sure you have been payed before you go! it is expensive, however the food is worth it. We always make the effort to drive there, even if its an hours detour!
Just go and don"t look at the prices!
E.
Upscale farm shop that has made the trends these days, with locations opening up in london. This location i believe is the original? Bright, airy, rustic decor location with a large garden outdoor area for summer fare (there's even an outdoor food truck that serves carribean food). Lots of garden supplies and food ware and local foods like honey, pasta, sauces, and the like ... and an excellent food service area (i think it has two eateries). My recommendation is definitely the pizza - it's quite good.
M. C.
This is a lovely modern establishment with a great variety of products, incuding healthy organic foods, also, a large modern restaurant with pleasant helpful staff.
The service, personnel, and food were excellent, once you had navigated the querky, unuser friendly menu.
It was a hot day on our visit, aside from all wonderful things there were some negatives, there were too many flies both in the restaurant and in the shop. For example on the bread display it was completely unprotected and those products were enjoyed by many flies.
Also the bread purchased, a sourdough loaf and pumpernickel, both were extremely hard and extremely difficult to eat, baked like bricks. When we got home, were very disappointed with something we had been really looking forward to.
C.
The nicest staff and loveliest products. This is a beautiful organic farm with a huge farm shop and also a restaurant and also lovely walking routes around the farm.Would highly recommend this place. You could easily spend a few hours here.
J. M.
This place is a gem, it ticks all the boxes in terms of variety and choices. Great quality in terms of its origins, authenticity.
It's not the cheapest place to visit, however, if you appreciate the finer things in life, this place if definitely for you.
M. R.
Brilliant set-up. Great food, reasonable prices, even with everything being Organic.
N. W.
This is a local trip into the cotswolds for me, lovely gifts and well worth a visit. Lovely people, friendly staff and excellent quality food produce.
J. N.
We stopped off here after collecting an artwork from the artist Teddy M, he loves the place and now, so do we! the food is delicious, the staff attentive and smiling. The deli makes you drool and we took a bag of goodies home. One thing for sure, we will be back! JJN

This organic farm is a must if you are in the Cotswolds.it is a healing retreat not to be missed. Everything is top quality and thoughtfully chosen for their customers. Amazing restaurant and the Hay Barn is a jewel in the crown. It is an experience ! You will feel cleansed refreshed and relaxed after you have been . You won't be disappointed.
D. P.
A beautiful place with organic produce meats and cheeses many sourced from the farm.
P. T.
Certainly looks the part with vast array of organic goods. Very expensive. Sour dpugh bread bought for £4.50. Nice but not exceptional. Decor and presentation in the store is pretty stunning.
M. C.
Great discovery. Full of wonderful organic produce from cheese to beauty products with refilling facility. Spa and florist facilities high standard. Coffee cafe excellent.
G.
Be sure to visit this wonderful farm shop and one of the restaurants - it really is another level. Be aware is it not cheap but if you want somewhere a bit special visit.
There is also a spa which i have not used but it does look amazing.
F. H.
Four of us booked a Wellness massage and light lunch package. My detox massage with an invigorating mixture of essential oils was fantastic and a big thank you to Kate. Lunch was let down by freshness of salad and time for us to be served, one and a quarter hours! Juices and tumeric shots delicious. Service good. I'll be back to see Kate soon.
A. S.
I went today and have to say the food is very tasty yet very expensive! Sad point was big que at the till due to not enough staff. Milk is trendy packaged and I welcome great food, yet snoby customers are rude. overall its a nice stop but lacks the wow factors. Men with loud jumpers over shoulders are everywhere and don't have volume control. Coffee take out for those with dogs is of a high standard and daylesford does have helpful attentive staff. Will return but prices must drop!
G. R.
I have never seen a greater collection of Range Rover and Porsche owners in one place. All queuing up to get into this farm shop. What extraordinary times we live in.
S.
I am giving the place 4 stars. Not because it is bad or good, just because of the way it seems to be set up. If you are one of the 'better off' it is a nice place to call into and let all your yuppie/rich/aloof/celebrity friends know about it. That is not intended as a 'put-down' in any way. But I think the prices are high to keep the 'rif-raf' out of the place and make it a bit aloof. Looking at some of the 5 star reviews here I'd say the people who write them have no problem spending vast amounts of money. That is good; because the better off need places to go that have nice clientele who are not of the common, working class variety. If you fit the bill it is a very nice place to visit. If on the other hand you are thinking of visiting because you are looking for a nice little place in the countryside, and you are not laden down with the weight of your wallet, I'd suggest you look around and find somewhere else to waste a bit of time and money.(As opposed to a bit of time and a lot of money). I am guessing it is owned by Mr and/or Mrs Bamford who also own; JCB, the village of Daylesford + the Daylesford Estate with 30 cottages, reservoir, boating lake, kitchen garden the size of a small housing estate etc etc. If so then I think it is understandable that the place is aimed at the 'correct type of person'. As for me, I was taken there by a friend. I enjoyed the food and the staff all seemed like nice people. Not that I had much interaction with them personally; but regarding the way they were toward other customers it was great. If someone offers to take me for free I would go again. As for paying....I'm not in possession of enough disposable income. But then not being a five star review, and failing to use words like amazing and fantastic I guess it shows.
J. W.
Very good quality stuff, and well organised
M.
Lovely products but prices very steep.
J. F.
Very impressive farm shop with large selection of their own produce as well as other high-end foods. Nice cheese room. Also large home furnishings section. Rather pricy though.
D. W.
Drove miles just to get the hand wash... my wifes idea. Bonus on arrival was restaraunt we had the homemade soup and bread which was lovely and at reasonable cost. Great handwash....had to say that but overall smart shop at a premium .
A. P.
Amazing! Well worth a visit even for a look around. Superb choice of organic products in the farm shop. Restaurant food is also superb - with great service.
Well worth a look!
K. S.
Daylesford showcases the luxury country experience that every woman in your family will love to visit -- your wife and daughters will love it. This deserves a gentleman's rating of 5-stars.
If you are visiting Cotswold, this place is very worthwhile to add to your list. There are a number of boutique stores, a lot of great photo opportunities and overall impressive experience.
i. f.
Had a lovely time hanging out with my cousin and her twin babies. The staff were very nice but did get a couple of things wrong on our order, and the menu was limited
S. C.
Amazing place. We had a classy lunch here on our way through The Cotswolds. Upmarket farm shop produce to tempt you... we will visit again. 😀
G. R.
Absolutely amazing place, fantastic food, restaurants and huts
D. B. (.
What an amazing out of town up-market shopping 'mall' and restaurant. Just when you thought you didn't need to spend money on anything else, this tempts you with everything you hadn't thought you needed! A cross between an organic farmer's market, a restaurant, cafe, garden nursery, and gift shop. Ideal if you cant think of anywhere else to take granny!
J. B.
Visited this farm shop for lunch on the dealer launch of the New Mazda MX-5. Was very impressed with the food and drink that we had. The shop looked amazing with some fantastic produce. I wish I had a bit more time there!
S. S.
I honestly don’t know where Daylesford has been all my life but since discovering it I now can’t get enough! 2 visits in September, brunch and dinner, both superb!👌🏼
M. B.
Range of goods available at this Christmas Fair a little disappointing.
L. K.
Daylesford is the Fortnum and Mason of farm shops .. everything down to the most subtle detail is excellent and priced accordingly. Even if you only stop for a coffee, it is worth the visit for the pleasant atmosphere and the scent of abundance.
C. D.
Amazing food and such a wonderful place to eat.
D. R. A.
Must visit if travelling through Cotswolds. Worth booking for Brunch and not least to admire their incredibly array of fresh and local produce. Great wine cellar too.
B. U.
It's a lovely place. Friendly staff and lovely products, it is just so pricey. Very over priced. If you have the money it's lovely tho
D. K.
The original organic farm in the Cotswolds. Affordable, huge range of produce with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Quite often and event over the weekend so check online for more info ahead of a visit.
Y. B.
Went to the old spot for dinner. Food was lovely. Quiet when we went which was great for us. Rely nice place to go. Not the cheapest but you wouldn't go to daylesford for cheap! Great job guys
E. Y.
Wonderful place. Staff are very helpful. Had a great pizza before buying lots of delicious organic food to take away.
S. W.
Possibly the best farm shop I have ever been to. The restaurant is outstanding using local produce, most from their own farm.
D. L.
Always worth a visit for that special present . Lunch was excellent , good service and not overpriced . Their food range is of very good quality if expensive , out of my price range although looking at the bags visitors were carrying as they left I was in the minority
D. H.
It's the one to visir whilst in the area, it's quite an experience, they also serve coffee and lovely food, it's all organic, most is grown on site, the staff are all very pationate about the whole cincepc, and you can also do a lovely walk on theit grounds, lots of free parking
M. B.
Fantastic organic salad, nice rural visit, parking available
S. W.
The annual Daylesford summer festival is a fascinating opportunity to walk around a genuinely organic market garden and farm. The vast rows of strawberries looked fantastic and I wondered why they don't suffer brave blackbirds stealing strawberries as we do at home.
My son loved the classic and motorsport cars. There was also lots of fun with tree climbing and very entertaining acrobatics.
As with everything the Bamfords arrange, there were plenty of staff to organise the car parking efficiently and the visitor's experience was very easy.
If I had to criticize, I would ask that the bar stocked more children's drinks as they had run out of everything except water by 3pm. Also I'm fascinated by the machines that JCB make and would enjoy seeing more of them. The display at the Moreton agricultural show was superb.
N. A.
Best organic cafe and farm
Especially the delicious soup
R. H.
Great farm shop with wonderful produce and freshly made pizzas! A nice place to end up if you fancy a drive in the Cotswolds.
J. W.
Wonderful place to grocery shop. Reminds me of my time as a handmaid in Gilead
L. N.
Dalesford Farm is not just an establishment where one buys food.... Dalesford Farm is an experience. They allow you to wander through a wonderland of all your dreams. Produce and products that enable you to experience this dream again in your own home.
S. H.
Great range of foods and a good place to eat. If we hadn't already eaten we would have eaten here. Downside is the deli is quite expensive but the quality was very high.
S. S.
You get 9 out of 10 on my personal Covid-19-safe league table!
It was a bit complicated to work out how the one-way system worked and some of the staff had their noses sticking out above their masks.
G. D.
2 takeaway cups of tea and 2 small custard tarts. Just under £12.00!!!!
G.
I used to visit this place regularly when I lived in Kingham. Exquisite setting and high quality products. The range of prices is what you expect from a Cotswolds organic farm.
H. H.
Very expensive products, very good quality though. Staff are incredibly friendly approachable and helpful especially the butcher Kevin who was very knowledgeable about all products in the counter and what to recommend especially how to cook and how to prepare the meat
G. B.
Wow what a beautiful place! Ate in the restaurant and amazing food on all fronts especially the venison Wellington and rhubarb desert. Will be back again for sure!
J. B.
Lovely staff, lovely food. Overall, lovely.
G. B.
Really nice place, great quality food, but best of all, really friendly staff
J. B.
1000th review.

Harrods in the Cotswolds is an accurate description. Lovely items but don't they know how to charge....Saw Alex James in the village just before we went in, you need to be a rock star to afford their prices.
D. P.
A bit pricey but brilliant quality food that is highly recommended. Stop at the lovely cafe too!

Really nice organic supermarket, particularly meat quality! Service was really good and the butcher gave us good advise on what cut to use for a beef bourguignon!
R. W.
Just beautiful. Even if you don't stop to eat or buy anything although you will. Its a great place on the eyes.

Nice place. Overly priced. If you've got a range rover and le chameau wellies, you'll be fine
J. M.
Needs more posh cars. Good selection of stuff, including glass jars for £125 not everyone's taste. Saw David Beckham here once too!
D. W.
Great place tucked away between villages. You can easily spend a long while there as there is cafe, homeware, grocery, butcher etc
Worth a visit if you are in the area.

C. C.
Very impressed, really enjoyed a couple of hours here.
M. E.
Got sucked in by hype but feel it's overrated. The cafe is OK, the foodhall.is OK, the homeware shop is OK but its all a little underwhelming and unimaginative.
L. R.
Such lovely staff at the till but what a shame the young manager who I believe was in charge of them spoke to a young girl like dirt telling her to take the baskets to the entrance despite going there himself, shame on you, have you never heard the word PLEASE.

Unfortunately they did not have my Reservation for the Restuarant although I had made it last February.
