A. R. D.Can't compliment HMJ enough. Since opening 7-8 months ago, they've been nothing but fresh air in the neighbourhood. Both Mubeen and Malik are very knowledgeable guys who know their. Most Asian butchers don't understand cuts, especially when you want something specific but you can tell these guys are passionate about food. They take great care in their work, offer advice on what cuts to use if unsure which is really refreshing to see. It's not just about business, they genuinely go out their way and cater for each customer.
Since opening, they've grown in their produce too. They don't just meat/poultry, but offer a range of other products such as marinated meats, frozen/fresh in house made sausages, farm eggs and deli fillers just to name a few. You can things in advance, both over the phone or request specific things via WhatsApp - which is very handy if planning for meals in advance.
Finally a proper halal butcher in Leicester who understands meat and customer service.. The best about them is they're just getting started!
