Absolutely awesome Butchers. I’ve lived a 2 minutes drive away from them for years, driven past so many times & never knew they were there. I went in for fresh products for my dog who’s got that awful virus going around & she’s got the best chicken breasts now & ribs for bone broth. All their meats, poultry, sausages & everything was of such high quality & I wanted a bit of everything in the shop but I do have to pay rent this month lol. Scott, George & Alice were lovely & helpful & of course I walked out with much more than I went in for lol. It’s homemade steak pie for dinner tonight. Next visit, hopefully meatloaf. They’ve made a new customer. Thanks guys & see you again within the next week.

Langtons is the best butchers and unrivalled anywhere. Fantastic meat and a good range of other products too. Scott, Alice and co are so friendly and always provide great customer service. They do THE best sausages ive ever tasted and THE best spicy lamb kofters. Best lamb ive ever tasted, something i also buy regularly. Sometimes you may pay slightly more than a supermarket however boy do you get much better quality. Well done Scott, Glenfield needs you and what you and your staff provide to our community.

We don't use them that often, but each time we've been the meat is always top quality and the staff are friendly and obliging. I like the different offers they do and that they seem to always have a good range of unusual meats - if you fancy something a bit different.

I've been coming to S J Langton now for around 5 months and I have to say that they are absolutely amazing. Coming from Australia, I know good quality meat and I have only ever been impressed by the product here, especially the beef. The team have always been incredibly helpful, offering advice, taking the time to dice or strip some cuts. I have never felt so accepted or welcomed as a customer. The experience here has completely sold me on using a local butcher and I hope to remain a customer for many years.

I choose to shop with SJ Langton because of the personal service you receive, along with the reassurance that the meat comes from local animals with high levels of animal welfare. It is also good quality meat for a fair price, if you're not sold on the ethics.

i live in ratby ,tried this butcher first time wednesday, bought a piece of topside beef angus ire370, 1.374kg cost £13,50/kg, total cost £18.55 surprised nothing special meat tough will not go again no better than morrisons meat

I’m not usually around in the day and so don’t get the chance to go to a ‘real’ butchers. Had the hunger for gammon on Monday, looking for butchers on way home from Leicester and pfft they’re all shut on Mondays! So anyway, called in to S J Langton today, i felt like I was in a sweet shop, a sweet shop full of meat. Had my gammon just as I like it - thick cut. But also tempted to minted lamb and jerk chicken, I’d have had more but there has to be some restraint. A great find as I’m not local to Glenfield (yet), lovely service which was spot on and feels like a family business. My grandpa was a family butcher and I’m ashamed that I find it ‘easier’ to go to the supermarket .....Far far better to keep our traditional butchers than the supermarket offerings. Five stars and more, I’ll be back!

After buying Sainsbury’s and Cost co meats for years thought I’d try Scott’s butchers, wow wish I’d starting using him years ago, absolutely no comparison in size and flavour, great friendly staff, and willing to cut you what ever you need, will never go back to using supermarkets again.
