B.I ordered 3 lamb Henry joints a few weeks ago and they arrived well packaged with instructions on how to recycle the packaging, the ice packs have been reused and are in my freezer now, the cardboard box is in my garage waiting to be reused. I cooked 1 joint today, 605g, for 4 hours on low in my slow cooker and then for 30 minutes in the oven on gas mark 5. The lamb was amazing, so succulent, tender and tasty, plenty for two and I am a lamb lover!! I couldn’t recommend the experience enough, easy to order, competitively priced, well packaged and so so tasty, well done The Mansion Farm, Jim and Odile. Ps I still have two larger joints to enjoy, perhaps on the bbq.
Y. A.Use mansion Farm not every week but atleast fortnightly, we have had some amazing products. One of our favourites upto date this year was jim and odeals coronation chicken pie, absolutely 💯 delicious 😋, crunchy crust, the filling was like their porkpies, but with chicken and abit of a kick . Plus their topside beef joints are amazing, but tomorrow we're looking forward to their braising steak for lunch. We have had their meat, fish, bakery goods and groceries,, all fresh and good quality food delivered to your door, thanks for some fantastic food.
Y. F.Have had some excellent produce from this shop - all delivered safely by the courier and packed well to keep them chilled and fresh. Can definitely recommend the cheese, sausages (love the Toulouse, Ukranian and Mergeuz as well as the ordinary ones) and some super dry aged steak. Great to support an ethical, small producer
T. L.I ordered the Pork Pie Hamper for my husband and it was amazing. His favourite was the pork and Stilton pie and mine was the traditional pork pie. I don’t like a lot of jelly so these were perfect for me. I will definitely be buying these pies again, for a special occasion, and we have a lot of those!
C. L. R.Odile delivered 2 Denver steaks on Wednesday along with a side of rosemary focaccia (that made a lovely snack yesterday). I marinated the steaks in soy sauce and grilled on the stovetop gridle. Served with a pat of salted butter....bellisimo, fantastique, delicioso, scrumptious and tender.
H. B.You wont be disappointed! I ordered lots of different bits to enjoy at lunch time to celebrate the beginning of the summer holidays. The bread and cake is homemade, fresh and delicious! The quiche was full of flavour and noticeably made of the finest ingredients! I also ordered cheddar, ham and chorizo all of which were again full of flavour and of a high quality! Delicious food prepared and made fresh from the farm from lovely local people!
A. N.All meats are locally sourced and of excellent quality. May be a little more expensive, but we would rather eat less meat of high quality and fewer food miles, which has been reared and processed in Lincolnshire. The on-line shop is very easy to use and the home delivery means that you can put it straight into your fridge or freezer. Delivery is free for orders over £50, and there are other home made/artisan products of high quality that we enjoy trying, and which you wouldn’t usually find all together in one shop! We particularly enjoy trying different cheeses!

I love what Odile and Jim do, their ethos, seasonality and small farm practice with provenance is inspirational, as well as what I’m looking for when shopping local and buying meat etc. Plus their meat, bread and bakes are truly superb. We need to support micro businesses like this, or we’ll lose them. Times are hard, but I try to order my bangers, burgers and even eggs from them every couple of weeks or so. J. l.The best butchers I know, the meat is always packaged well with ice packs and still cold when I get home from work in evening if delivered in daytime. The packaging is eco friendly. The beef is amazing all reared in house in same family, The tetford longhorn is left free to roam on grass land locally. All the meat supplied by mansion farms is fully traceable, any questions or any cooking questions they are only too happy to answer

Recently ordered the pork pie gift hamper for my grandads birthday and he was delighted! Beautifully packaged and great value for quality and delicious pies! H. O.I never have a bad thing to say about the products especially the meat. A couple of shops ago I brought sourdough starter wow 🤩 I have made sourdough starters and bread many times before but this starter is the liveliest starter I have ever seen !! My first attempt was half and half white and whole meal flours which I should of fermented longer it was a bit dense but my last batch was amazing unfortunately I can’t eat it as on low carb diet but I did get tempted to have little nibble. Flour salt and water 💦. We are having wonderful pork chops for Sunday dinner today the flavour is amazing 😻.

R.We go to Lincolnshire every year and a day in Louth is a must and I always pop to Meridian meats, first class and friendly butcher's who really know their stuff, absolutely fabulous sausages and the steaks are out of this world, I've got some traditional pork sausage made to a 100 year old recipe in the fridge and i can't wait to try them!!!
m. w.Meridian Meats! what a discovery!! - just tried the ploughman's pork pie for the first time in the shop - absolutely wonderful . . the best pork pie ever, juicy, crispy crispy pastry and packed with tender meat. The counter was very attractive with so many luscious things I could have bought the lot! going to try their Longhorn Beef next - thrilled with having such a high quality butcher in the area.

M. A.My wife and I have been using Meridian Meats home delivery service since the lockdown in March. The delivery service has been first class and orders always delivered on time as advertised.
The products are out of this world when compared to those in the average supermarket and the meat especially tastes like it used to in the good old days. The eggs are a real treat as they are free range from different breeds and the taste and colour are not like the wishy washy ones you get from supermarkets. I should also mention the egg custards and pork pies which are unbelievingly good, particularly the ploughman's pork pies.
Suffice it to say that since ordering from Jim and Odile we would not shop anywhere else for our meat and eggs. We highly recommend Meridian Meats as it is a local company and well worth supporting. Jim and Odile are such lovely people and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.
Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
