So lovely to have this excellent butcher in East Finchley. The meat is first class in my opinion I always go there for delicious organic rump steak and chicken. The service from Ant is just so great. He really is so attentive and helpful. I really enjoy buying my meat locally from such a friendly butcher, it is such a pleasure. Highly recommend Forequarters inside Budgens.

I think the pork from them is the best ever I've tried in London and way above others. Besides pork, all meat in superb quality, never let me down even once and even for rare cuts.

From the mini butchers in Budgens N2, bought two chickens and it was my first time ever roasting a whole chicken. The meat stayed super juicy and was so tender after roasting in the oven. Probably one of the best chicken Sunday Roast I've ever had! The butcher don't know his name was super nice and helped me out a lot.

Situated within the Budgens on Upper Street, this little Butchers stocks some good quality meat and in some instances fish (crab, salmon, seabass). I have bought Lamb shoulder a few times from here now and the meat has been great.

I’ve updated this review because it’s actually a really good butchers shop! But don’t trust the opening hours; call ahead. It may we’ll be closed when it should be open. The meat is good and the butcher knows what he is doing when you ask for specialty cuts, and gives good advice on cooking.

Excellent new butcher inside the local Budgens. Beef, chicken, lamb, pork, veal: all first quality and can be prepared to order.
Meat is provided by small English farmers so it's good for traceability and with little carbon footprint, plus animal welfare is probably better than those used for supermarket meat.
The cherry on top is that the butcher himself might as well be a chef and can be relied on to give you an idiot-proof guide on how to best make whatever cut of meat you like.
