Very good quality products. I am coming from Canary wharf but is worth. The guys are offering free sausages if you spend more than 10

I can't explain it! On days when they are closed (Sun-Mon, [Tue in August], Wed), I occasionally get pork belly and ribeye steak from the fancier joints up the street or further afield at Stoke N14, but nice as those places try to be, Dave and Sally still have them beat for ultimate taste and less expensive too! And they are a truly lovely couple to boot! I just wish they open 7-days a week so I don't have to shop elsewhere.

By far the best butchers I have come across in London, and I am a woman who hunts out quality meat. Quality cuts of English meat at a reasonable price served by decent friendly people who take pride in what they do, and have been doing it for the last 32 years.
This small butchers is impeccably clean, immaculately run and it is quite simply a delight for me to buy my meat here. As a meat-loving kiwi londoner of 15 years I am happy that I tired of Godfrey's prices and decided to take a walk down the Blackstock Road. If you haven't already then buy the chicken (my partner could actually taste the difference), the range of sausages go great on the barbie (my personal favourites chorizo), lamb and mint (great), steak and pepper (fab). As a purveyor of Ginger Pig sausages for a good while, I have been turned. These are better.
Busy mum in a hurry on a weeknight ? honey marinated chicken pieces or marinated ribs ready to go - happy man in minutes - result!
If you live locally, or indeed if you don't, you would be a fool not to shop here for your meat. So what if they are closed on Monday on Wednesday ? - organise accordingly- everyone else has a weekend and if they don't then they should, just because you live in London you should not have to be a slave to the mill.

Nice lamb shoulder. Got charged about £8 extra when I asked for it to be cut up, which was an unwelcome surprise.
