Meat Jon is absolutely terrific, all the food is always excellent quality and Jon and Piers are very knowledgeable. I would say that their sausages are probably the best in the world, which is a bold claim, but almost certainly true.

Phenomenal top quality meat... Michelin star restaurant quality meat, and its hiding in Ladywell. We regularly shop at Blackheath Farmer's market, which also has amazing meat... but if the in-laws are coming then impress them with a joint from here. Although it's not cheap, it really is worth the money. You will not regret it. Keep it up, Jon!

I’ve never tasted a Barnsley Chop as good as from Jon’s. Chicken tastes like it had a good life. Ribs.... wow. Steak, to die for. Great shop.

A local free range butchers serving wuality meat at a good price. The display is very clear and ptesented well. During covud-19 periof theu have refuced theur hoyrs and the number customers premitted. Would highly recommend them

Excellent local butcher. It was open on a Sunday which was a real bonus and I bought some beef chuck which was amazingly tender in a stew I cooked later in the day. I found the butcher to be super helpful and knowledgeable and would definitely be going back. The quality and freshness of the meat is just way above anything you can remotely get from supermarkets or other local butchers!

The best T bone steaks we have ever had! We have given up buying steak from the supermarket and would rather pay a bit more and have it occasionally knowing the cow is free range and it will taste really delicious. It has become our go to show stopper for entertaining and everyone has agreed it has the best flavour and texture they have ever eaten. We feel very lucky to have Meat Jon on our doorstep but the shop is definitely worth going out of your way for if it isn't.

Amazing meat from native breeds. All the beef (dry-aged for extra deep, beefy flavour) is incredible in particular, but you can do little wrong with any of the produce here. If you don't see what you need on the counter, they can usually cut/prep something out the back on demand too. So good to have a high-quality, friendly butcher like this in the area!

T-bones, best I have had. Sausages and the minted lamb, outstanding, will easily convert a vegan. The butcher is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful, there is no better butcher in the area in my opinion. Well worth a visit prices are fair

Excellent! I Recently had some Sausages, Fillet and Sirloin steaks from Meat Jon Butchers, as well as some Lamb cuts (Fore Shank and Shoulder), which I casseroled. All of it was brilliant, the Sirloins especially. Top service from Jon and clearly supporting the local community during these difficult times! see you again soon.
