3 hours very well spent - MEATING THE STEAK!! 3 of us cut, carved, trimmed and tied our way through some excellent beef to create fillet, rump, sirloin and rib eye steak. We came away having leant a lot about identifying the different cuts and how to remove them from the bone without damaging the steaks. I love Paul's attention to detail and how the meat is going to look on display.

Their beefburgers are without equal in London..great environment...fresh meats and exotic types of sausages. What more could you want?! Check out Noth London's best known meat emporium.... friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Update: 20/4/2021 (+ photo) Amazing pork ribs. We used the grill. The quality was really good, and the price was completely reasonable. Usual good service 👍 Review early 2021: I was really happy with the service and quality of the products. I placed an order last Thursday using their website and they delivered the next morning! A really handy service if you don't have time to go and visit them personally, or if you don't fancy the queues. The steaks were a treat, and the pork loin was a great buy. We've had their burger patties and bacon a few times now, and they're delicious.

Amazing sausages, the staff are happy to tell you where their meats are from too - which is great. But one of the highlights of this place is the other stuff they sell - the cheese selection is excellent and they sell Rillettes and foie gras at very reasonable prices!

Never had a disappointing experience with this great butcher. I've been shopping here for years and the meat has been consistently excellent. We just had beef fillet we bought here for our anniversary and it was wonderful - tender, flavourful, the meat had a magnificent smell even while still raw. What is also impressive is how reasonably priced everything that is sold here is, and that is including the delicious variety of wines on sale. Really recommend this place.

I feel lucky to live in a neighborhood with such a superb butcher. The selection is on point and seemingly never dwindles. The staff, always friendly and welcoming, ensure you are given their utmost attention. They also have the most efficient operation I’ve seen in any business!

Best butcher in Stoke Newington. Staff is pro and always nice. Large choice of meat for a shop this size and very good quality. I love it. They also love dogs and will happily give you some bones to chew instead of wasting it whenever they can which is a big plus on my side :)

I bought some lovely mince from this local butchers today to make a bolognese sauce, and the meat was so flavoursome, I really noticed the difference! It's not cheap but meat prolly shouldn't be. Can't fault the wonderful staff and superb cuts. They have a great wine selection out back and import some lovely deli bits from Italy.

I purchased the Meat the Lamb course for my father and Uncle as a treat for this year’s Father’s Day. The whole process, from booking to arriving on the day was so easy and friendly. Freddie and his team at Meat N16 kindly agreed to arrange a private course for me, this meant that the Saturday before Father’s day I was able to surprize my dad and uncle to their course. We were even able to pay for the course in instalments over the months in the run up to the day. Small personal touches like this really make this a family business. The course itself wasn’t attended by me, however from my dad’s constant talking, picture and video showing and even unwrapping of the meat itself talks volumes alone. It was thoroughly enjoyed – great value for money, perfect gift for any foodie and what better than the ability to take what you carve home. Thank you Freddie and Troy at Meat N16.
