Professional service, I ordered a turkey via WhatsApp just a week before Christmas and everything went smoothly. Really reactive on WhatsApp, the order was done in less than 10 min ! I came to the shop few days after to collect it and pay. And most important the turkey was delicious - they literally saved my Christmas !! I recommend 100% ! Support your local stores.

Amazing produce at a reasonable price with helpful and friendly service. Favourites are their Christmas turkey, the lamb, steaks, homemade sausages, the chicken quality, steak mince quality. A great find and I joyfully haven’t bought supermarket meat since! Thrilled to support our local butcher!

Just ordered my Christmas meat, after being told by supermarkets the product I wanted was sold out. Ordering was easy, and I was offered a convenient collection time. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Sadly few traditional local butchers are left. The price was reasonable and competitive, compared to the extortionate Christmas prices of the supermarkets. They do nice bangers as well!

Fantastic butcher. Great meats and always goes the extra mile by scoring, giving advice on how to cook and even chopping your meat up in slices if asked to. Best butcher in town. The diversity of meats is so impressive to. Make sure you grab some eggs and homemade pork pies too!

Although tiny in size, this butcher shop is excellent and has everything you need. The owners are very friendly and helpful too. They make their own sausages and pies, which are jolly good. As mentioned in other reviews, they are at Tachbrook St Market Thurs, Fri and Sat and will accommodate special and game orders. Quality meat at decent prices, I wish I had found them years ago.

Found this local butchers during lockdown and I’m so glad we did. I’ve taken advantage of their pre-order service which is very helpful as it guarantees I can get what’s needed. Excellent quality and value compared to what you’d get in the supermarket, and considering there’s only really Tesco in the area, I would always choose PJ Frankland & Sons now. They also do delicious cooked meats and pies etc, would recommend the sausage rolls!!

This shop is a pleasure to deal with. For Christmas orders I get a customised service and the resulting boned stuffed turkey is reliable, moist and a pleasure to eat. The owner is helpful and pleasant. The female assistant has been really nice to my small grandchildren and let them turn long chipolata sausages into half lengths. They were intrigued.

Incredulous at the fact that I've only just discovered this gem after almost five years of living in the area. Thanks for the beautiful ox cheek and short ribs (which are braising as we speak). Shall be back for all the other goodies that looked great but I had no space for just yet!

Whenever I want something special at a reasonable price near my home in Victoria, I go see Frankie at his Tachbrook Street Market location. It's a family business, and they are always very accommodating. They'll order anything you request from suckling pig to organ meats to ribs cut to my exacting specifications. As an Southern American, I have pretty high standards on barbecue but I have never bought better ribs anywhere else. Ask for his extra fatty thick cut pork ribs, and give them 8 hours at 120C. One rack can be cut into four and will leave everyone in awe. He also has some really tasty dry aged steaks, special items like smoked garlic, and is always willing to give me a few bones for stock if he has them. Already getting excited planning my shop this week.

I visited this butcher for the first time today. It's hidden away from the main thoroughfares of Kennington and Vauxhall. The store has an excellent selection of competitively priced meats, which is a refreshing change from the supermarkets nearby. Big frankie recommended some great beef sausages and cooking suggestions to suit my tastes. I was really impressed by the butcher lads knowledge and passion when dealing with myself and other customers. I will definitely Be returning in the weeks and months to come.

Great quality local butcher, with a few other essentials like milk, bread, eggs and even tomatoes (everything you need for a fry-up!). The quality of the meat is really excellent. If you try bacon from here you'll never go back to the paper-thin danish stuff from the supermarket. Their 'plain' sausages are also delicious, and the staff are helpful if you're not sure what to go for. Expect to pay a little more than you would for the flavour-less shrinkwrapped stuff at Tesco, but less than other butchers or pretentious places like Greensmiths on Lower Marsh.

What a little gem been in vauxhall for nearly 15 years and only found this place a couple of weeks ago what quality the ribeye is outstanding had minted lamb rump tonight and wow this is my new go to place well worth a try
