N. A.Lovely, kind and generous. Wide variety of neat and all the beef is grass fed. Apparently they even have the really expensive Japanese beef, which I cannot afford but if you can, this is your place. They can also get pheasants and quail and such.

r.Picked up a few bits for the bank holiday - never had such good steak, even from finest steakhouses in London and New York. A half kilo Nebraskan sirloin, that looked more like Wagyu, was a perfect medium rare after 13 minutes in a medium/hot pan - the 3 of us sat there dumbfounded and speechless for a good 5 minutes. The lamb burgers are also well worth a try, delicious.
Update: Prices seem to have gone through the roof. Last week, I picked up 1.3 kg of lamb leg from The Ginger Pig for £24 - this week, got 1.5 kg of the same cut from Primrose Hill Butchers and it came to £39! Don’t think we’ll be coming back unfortunately.
I. H.Great beef, very ordinary gunk filled bacon compared to someone like Godfrey. Biggest complaint is that their published opening times aren’t reliable. Nothing worse as a customer to arrive 30 mins before closing to find a locked door.
