The best butchers I've found in years.. Amazing service, truly breathtaking product and a lovely friendly shop. We bought 1.5kg rump and sausages which were both better than the likes of the ginger pig and got to watch the butcher work on a whole leg of beef. Worth every single penny as the quality is the best. What a find!, great to see this place in such a community setting... Top marks Proud Sow....

Always great quality meat and at a good price for the standard of meat. The chicken breasts are usually massive and great for curries or kebabs. Always happy to do a higher effort but of meat with a smile. I would not go anywhere else for my briskets for low and slow smoking.

Great local butchers, very glad I found this place before lockdown, it has been a real bright spot! Great meat of course, but also a great selection of wines, coffee and sauces too. The Pencarrow pinot noir particularly great!

Absolutely love this butchers not only the great customer service you get from the lovely guys that work there but the meat is outstanding I’ve not had meat like it from anywhere before . There beef joints and steaks are exceptional well I’ve tried nearly all there products not been disappointed. This is one of our finest shops in dulwich .

My local butcher. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for mouth watering steaks, Sunday roasts and meat to make the BBQ feel special. A great range of craft beer and wine selection too. If you're in the area you'd be crazy to go elsewhere.

Granddaughter adores beef mince from here! Used to have to hide her mince under pasta or mash. Now she goes straight to it. Great meat and lovely service. Collected turkey Xmas Eve. Amazing. Not even any leftovers for the cats.

Very good quality meat and a very friendly and helpful young chap, always wearing a mask, serving. Unfortunately however, the other staff member that also serves does not wear a mask which puts me off returning. We have 100,000 dead due to Covid and the nhs are really under pressure. Please do yourself and everyone else a favour and wear a mask.

Fantastic meat and a good selection. I’m really disappointed to see there was no mask wearing by any of the staff and two customers before me in the Crofton Park branch.

Love this butchers! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and fantastic products. So glad we have moved to Crofton Park right round the corner from this place. The sausages are amazing - I have bought a chest freezer just so I can hoard them! The joints of beef are even better than Turner and George’s which is fantastic. Love the fact that Proud Sow also stock veg, butter, craft beers, cider and bread. Great to be able to buy locally which was a challenge when we lived in East Dulwich as sadly the local butchers was disappointing (poor cuts of steak, a pretty disastrous Christmas order etc.)
